David R. Carlucci is chairman and chief executive officer of IMS Health (NYSE: RX), the world's leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Steven J. Freiberg is Chief Executive Officer of Global Cards for Citi. In 1987, he became a founding director of Citicorp Investment Services (CIS) and over the next four years held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and National Sales Director. In 1991, Mr. Freiberg joined a corporate-wide task force where he was part of a team which developed Citicorp's five-year Global Consumer Strategic Plan. He then moved to Florida to run distribution for the Florida Consumer Bank. In 1995, he returned to New York as the Chairman and CEO of Citicorp Investment Services and the Citicorp Insurance Group. In 1997, Mr. Freiberg rejoined the Credit Card Division and assumed responsibility for several major Strategic Business Groups and in 2000, he was appointed Chairman and CEO of Citi Cards. In 2005, he was appointed to the position of Chairman and CEO of the Global Consumer Group NA and Co-Chair of the Global Consumer Group. His North America responsibilities included credit cards, retail banking, consumer finance, Primerica, consumer lending (mortgage, auto, student loans), and small to mid-size commercial banking. Mr. Freiberg serves or has served as a member of Citi's Operating and Management Committees and co-heads Global Consumer's Planning Group. He also serves or has served on the Boards of Citibank N.A., Citicorp Credit Services Inc., Citicorp Investment Services, Citicorp Insurance Group, Citibank Trust NA, Citibank FSB, MasterCard Incorporated, the US Board of MasterCard (as chair), Direct Marketing Association Board, Habitat for Humanity NYC Council, Upromise Board, The Financial Services Roundtable, and the NYU Management Decision Laboratory. He is a business sponsor of Citi's Asian Pacific Heritage Network NYC.
