Board Certified, American Board of Internal Medicine, Board of Certification in Emergency Medicine, American Association of Physician Specialists, Member , American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine. Dr. Ro is a Board Certified physician and a central Texas native. He was Bryan High School?s top graduate in 1981 and attended Texas A&M. He graduated from University of Texas-Houston Medical School in 1988, completed his internal medicine residency there in 1991 and served as chief resident through 1993. After three years of private practice, he began emergency medicine full time in 1996. As well as being a full-time Emergency Physician, he was Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Polly Ryon Hospital until 2001, and then Emergency Department Medical Director at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital until 2003. He is currently Medical Director at McAllen Medical Center, and also serves as Medical Director of Waller County EMS. Dr. Ro was named Emergency Physician of the Year in 1999 by the Greater Houston EMS Council. Dr. Ro lives in Cypress with his wife Deborah.
