Mr. Jagoe's appointment as Executive V.P. in 2006 brings to Major Drilling over thirty years experience in contracting and associated products worldwide. Prior to joining Major Drilling, Mr. Jagoe served successively as Regional Director of the Americas, Regional Director of Europe, V.P. Products and V.P. Contracting for Boart Longyear Company. He also held the position of Global Coring Director. He holds a M.Sc. Degree in Industial Engineering and a B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, and a diploma in Executive Development from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mr. Gibson joined Major Drilling Group in 1995, having been engaged in the private practice of law for the previous eight years. Mr. Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Law from the University of New Brunswick.

Mr. Newburn brings many years of drilling operation management experience to the position of VP, Drilling Division, North America. He has recently been promoted to this position after a successful stint managing the Townsville, Australia operation of Major Drilling.

Mr. Baldry started in the drilling industry in 1985. In 1997, Major Drilling acquired a company in Australia which Mr Baldry held the position of Branch Manager and has since held several management positions within Major Drilling, the most recent being International Operations Manager (Asia/Africa), and has now been promoted into the position of General Manager Australia.

Mr. Lacharite joined Major Drilling in 1975, becoming manager of our Dominik Drilling division in 1989. In 1993 he was promoted to the position of Regional Manager, and as such was instrumental in opening branches in Venezuela , Argentina , Central America , Tanzania and Turkey . He is now responsible for the Guyana Shield region, including Venezuela, Suriname, and French Guiana, as well as for our branch in Turkey.

Mr. Wiebe has worked in the drilling industry for over 30 years, internationally for the past 20. He joined the Major group in 1992, becoming Branch Manager for Major Drilling's Mexico operation in 1993, before being promoted to his current position, which remains based in Mexico.

Mr. Farebrother joined Midwest Drilling (which was acquired by Major Drilling in 1998) in 1970, becoming Branch Manager of Midwest's Thompson based operation in 1992. In January, 2002 Mr. Farebrother took on the management of Major Drilling's Tanzanian operation, where he served until his promotion to his current position in September, 2002.

Mr. Tennant is a senior partner and former co-head of the national business law group at McCarthy Tetrault, LLP, Canada's largest law firm, and is legal counsel from time to time to the Corporation. Mr. Tennant is a former lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.

Mr. Hope retired in 2001 from Grant Thornton LLP where he was Executive Partner and CEO. He continued as the CEO of Grant Thornton Canada and a director of Grant Thornton International through 2002. He was named vice-chair of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2002 and began a two-year term as CICA chair in 2004, where he also previously chaired the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee (2002-2004). He has been active in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia, serving on the governing council (1968-1975) and various committees, and as president (1974-1975). Mr. Hope qualified as a CA in Nova Scotia in 1963 and graduated with an M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1968.

Derek G. Pannell was appointed a director of Teck Cominco Limited in October 2006. He is a graduate of Imperial College in London, England (BSc. Eng.) and the Royal School of Mines, London, England (ARSM). Mr. Pannell was President and Chief Operating Officer of Noranda/Falconbridge from 2001 to October 2006 and Vice President, Operations of Compania Minera Antamina from 1999 2001. He is presently the Managing Partner of Brookfield Asset Management (asset management company), Chairman of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners and a director of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners, Agrium Inc. and Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. Pannell is also a professional engineer registered in Quebec and Peru. He is a resident of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada and is 62. Mr.

Mr. Breiner is President and CEO of Schramm, Inc., a manufacturer of mobile tophead rotary drill rigs, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. He has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, marketing and sales of drill rigs and construction equipment. Prior to joining Schramm in 2000, Mr. Breiner held several positions with Ingersoll-Rand Company in New Jersey, Texas and Pennsylvania culminating in his role as Vice-President & Branch Manager of Ingersoll Rand Equipment Sales located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to his role on the Schramm board, Mr. Breiner serves as a director on the board of the American Ground Water Trust, a non-profit organization which provides public education concerning the hydrologic, economic and environmental significance of ground water. Mr. Breiner holds a Bachelor of Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Business Administration form the University of Dallas, Texas. Additionally, he is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) awarded by APICS, the Association of Operations Management.

Mr. Zurel is a Chartered Accountant and from 2006 has been President of Stonebridge Capital Inc., an investment company. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Zurel was Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of CHC Helicopter Corporation, the world's largest helicopter operating company. He is also a director of Major Drilling International Inc. and Newfoundland Power Inc. Mr. Zurel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University .

John is President of Schiavi Enterprises in Oxford, dealing with Manufactured Housing, Nursing Homes, and Commercial Real Estate. John is also a director of the Manufactured Housing Association of Maine, Major Drilling Group of Moncton, Canada, and a member of the Finance Council of the Catholic Dioceses of Maine. A graduate of Hebron Academy, John received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Babson College and a Masters of Science in Retailing from New York University.
