Nick Sears, M.D. serves as Chief Medical Officer for MedAssets, Inc. Dr. Sears joined MedAssets through Aspen Healthcare Metrics as Senior Vice President of Clinical Services in 2004. Dr. Sears is a Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon with more than 20 years of experience as a cardiothoracic surgeon and physician executive. Randall B. Sparkman has over 23 years of experience in the Information Technology field, most of those years in Healthcare. He served as Vice President of Information Systems for MedAssets Supply Chain Systems since 1989, and was recently named Chief Information and Technical Officer for MedAssets, Inc. Mark Hess is our Western Zone Vice President, Corporate Sales and IDN Strategies. This new position, created and effective July 16th, 2001, has P & L responsibility for sales activities along with the Corporate Sales Team. Hired in May/2000, Mark's focus was to develop the MedAssets IDN sales and strategy. Neil Hunn joined MedAssets as Vice President of Business Development in October 2001 and was named Senior Vice President of Business Development in 2005. Later, Mr. Hunn served as President, MedAssets Net Revenue Systems. Mr. Hunn became the Chief Financial Officer in the second quarter, 2007. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Hunn was the Segment Executive for Professional Services and Director of Business Development for CMGI where he oversaw the operations of CMGI's professional services division, Tallan. Scott Gressett has served as our Chief Accounting Officer since June 2007. Mr. Gressett joined MedAssets at its founding as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller and was named Senior Vice President of Finance in October 2004. Dr. Ron Hartmann serves as our Vice President of the Pharmacy Division. A native of Southern California, Ron earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California. Following his Residency at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Sciences and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Ron moved to the Washington DC area and helped to develop the pharmacy program at the Washington Hospital Center. Family considerations prompted a move to St. Louis, where Dr. Hartmann began his career at St. John's Mercy Medical Center and the Sisters of Mercy Health System - St. Louis. This change was the beginning of Ron's relationship with MedAssets Supply Chain Systems as a member of MedAssets' Pharmacy Advisory Committee. Ron joined the MedAssets Pharmacy Division in July 2000.

Lynne L. Dossey, MPH joined MedAssets Net Revenue Systems as a Regional Vice President based in San Diego, California in November 2003. Lynne's experience in healthcare began in physician practice management in San Diego where she managed a large psychiatric group practice affiliated with Charter Behavioral Health until its financial restructuring. After her time managing psychiatrists and psychologists, she moved to hospital reimbursement and revenue cycle solutions as Vice President of Business Development with Integrated Revenue Management, Inc. (IRM) in Carlsbad, California. During her time with IRM, Lynne helped foster amongst hospitals nationwide, the philosophy of creating an internal revenue management department.
