ValueVision Media is multi-channel, direct-to-consumer retailer that sells general merchandise to consumers through television, the Internet, and direct mail. Founded in 1990, the Company operates the third largest television home shopping network in the United States - ShopNBC - and is a leader in upscale television home shopping. The network is available in 67 million homes through analog and digital cable as well as on DirecTV (channel 370) and Dish Network (channel 228). The ShopNBC television network is also broadcast on the Internet at ShopNBC.TV. ShopNBC broadcasts its product offerings live 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Customers increasingly buy on the Internet as well as through the television channel. In 2006, sales at the Company's flagship site - ShopNBC.com - comprised 24% of total sales. ShopNBC leverages the world-renowed NBC brand into the commerce arena, where the ShopNBC brand is synonymous with quality and value. The Company?s corporate headquarters, broadcast facilities, customer service, and jewelry fulfillment are located in Minnesota. The Company also maintains fulfillment facilities in Kentucky and provides customer service and fulfillment services to Polo.com.
