MediaTek powers the development of new chipsets. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan, MediaTek Inc. (TAI: 2454) designs, develops, manufactures, sells, and maintains multimedia chipsets. The company makes sound cards, multimedia speakers, hard disk recording cards, and more. Over 80% of total sales come from overseas, and, since most actual production is outsourced, about 80% of employees work in R&D. It now makes 300 million chipsets a year. The company has annual revenue of about $1.5 billion and employs about 2,300 people. In 2005, the company's worldwide market share rose to 4% from 0.5% in 2004.

He also worked with Paramount Studios and Ron Shusset producer of Alien, Total Recall and The Minority Report. Lincoln graduated from UCLA in political science.
