Mark Ivie has served as MedQuist's chief technology officer since June 2005. He has more than 20 years of experience in the technology field, and a proven track record of managing large development teams in tier-one companies, delivering technology solutions to the market, and driving the overall success of the business. Ivie has strong healthcare IT experience, including healthcare clinical solutions and workflows. He was most recently the general manager, Enterprise Systems and Technology for GE Healthcare, where he was responsible for the creation and adoption of standards, and for creating the infrastructure for shared functional modules. During his tenure at GE, he was responsible for the integration of six acquisitions into a single clinical information system. Ivie was also instrumental in increasing the radiology information systems business from $50 million to about $500 million in just five years. Prior to that position, Ivie held positions at both Lucent Bell Laboratories and AT&T Bell Laboratories. While at Lucent, he grew their telecom support software business from $6 million to $70 million, captured all major and most U.S. telecom providers as customers, and increased the engineering team from 25 to 150. He also managed integrated work in six other organizations across four states and three countries to produce synchronized, integrated deliverables. Ivie holds a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. He was named a finalist for 2008 "Public/Private Company CIO of the Year" by the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC).

Kathy has been an instructor at Keiser College in Melbourne, FL since 9/02. She has 25 years of medical transcription experience, along with 4 years teaching experience in the medical transcription field. Kathy has been a quality assurance editor for MedQuist, was employed by Transcend services and an IC with Healthcare Transcription for many years. Kathy has also had transcription experience working with several hospitals in the Tampa FL and surrounding areas. She completed her training at the Carnegie Institute of Detroit and became certified by AHDI (formerly AAMT). She brings with her experience in transcribing medical imaging, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology, medical oncology, pathology, urology, family practice, urgent care, general surgery, emergency care, acute care and multispecialty clinics. Kathy was awarded the Educator of the Year by the Florida Association for Medical Transcription (FAMT) in April of 2004. Her professional affiliations include her position as past Board Member of the Florida Association for Medical Transcription (FAMT). She has been the Space Coast Chapter representative, Chapter Vice President, Chapter President, Newsletter Editor and Membership Committee Chair.

Richard Stowe has served as a director since 1989. He is a private investor and Senior Advisor to Capital Counsel LLC, an asset management firm. From 1979 until 1998, Mr. Stowe was a general partner of WCAS. Prior to 1979, he was a Vice President in the venture capital and corporate finance groups of New Court Securities Corporation (now Rothschild, Inc.). Mr. Stowe is also a director of MedQuist, Inc., a provider of medical record transcription services.
