Dr. Selander is a family physician engaged in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Selander has practiced medicine since 1964. Dr. Selander also serves as chairman of the board of directors and a trustee of Memorial Hospital and as a trustee of Brooks Health Systems, both located in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Selander is also a past president of the Florida Medical Association, the Duval County Medical Society and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians.
