Dan S. Dugan, age 66, has served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since 1983 and Chairman of MTSB since 1980. Mr. Dugan served as President and CEO of MTSB from 1980 to 2005. Mr. Dugan has served as a director of the Company since 1983. He also serves as a director of each of the Company s subsidiaries, MTSB, Marine Bank, Perry, Brown County, Farmers, Mid-America and Royal Palm. He also serves as director of a bank holding company in which the Company holds a minority interest, New Frontier Bancshares, Inc., which operates New Frontier Bank located in St. Charles, Missouri.

Ted T. Awerkamp, age 49, has served as Vice President and Secretary of the Company since 1994, and the President and CEO of MTSB since 2005. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of MTSB from 1993 to 2005. Prior to that time, he served as Assistant Vice President and Vice President of MTSB and as President of Hamilton. Mr. Awerkamp has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Company and MTSB since 1994.

Michael P. McGrath, age 52, has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company since December 2006. He served as Vice President and Treasurer of the Company from 1986 to December 2006 and a Senior Vice President and Controller of MTSB from 2002 to December 2006. From 1985 through 2002, he served as Vice President and Controller of MTSB. Prior to 1985, he was a certified public accountant with the firm of Gray Hunter Stenn LLP in Quincy, Illinois.

Bruno Kristensen, Manager, has over 30 years experience in financial administration and lending. Bruno was the CFO for several mid-sized companies and has led Western Canadian commercial lending for Laurentian Bank, North American Trust, Commercial Capital Corp and Mercantile Bank. Bruno holds an MBA from the University of Toronto and a BA, Econ. from the University Western Ontario.

Michael J. Foster is a retired agribusiness executive. He was President of National Livestock Feed Business for ADM Alliance Nutrition, Inc. ( ADM Alliance ), a subsidiary of Archer-Daniels-Midland Company, from 1998 through 2004. ADM Alliance is headquartered in Quincy, Illinois, and manufactures and sells livestock feeds nationally and internationally. Mr. Foster has served as a director of the Company and of MTSB since 2003.

Ed Daughney, Director, has been involved with Mercantile in an advisory capacity since 1994. Ed is the owner of Echelon Home Products, a distributor of high-end appliances and is the Executive Chair of TimberWest Forest. Previously Ed was President of Merit Kitchens, First City Trust, Roxy Petroleum, Great Northern Finance and United Trust. Ed holds an MBA, University of Western Ontario, BBA, University of New Brunswick and is a Chartered Accountant.

Walter D. Stevenson III is a retired physician in Quincy, Illinois, and the former president of the Quincy Medical Group, a multi-specialty medical group located in Quincy. Dr. Stevenson has been a director of the Company since 1983 and of Mercantile Bank since 1976.
