Robert G. Bohn was appointed CEO in October 1997 and chairman in January 2000. Prior to becoming chairman and CEO, Bohn was president and chief operating officer for Oshkosh Corporation. He also held the position of president of Pierce Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company, acquired in September 1996. Charles L. Szews is the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Oshkosh Corporation responsible for managing the company’s four segments and its supply chain and quality functions. Thomas D. Fenner is Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing Services for Oshkosh Corporation. Kathleen J. Hempel was elected a director of Whirlpool Corporation in June 1994. She is a member of the corporate governance & nominating committee and the finance committee of the board of directors. Hempel is the former vice chairman and chief financial officer of Fort Howard Corporation. Hempel joined Fort Howard in 1973 and served as vice president – human resources, executive vice president, and senior executive vice president prior to the 1997 merger with James River Corp. to form Fort James Corporation. She had been a member of Fort Howard's board of directors since 1979 until the 1997 merger. Hempel graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Grebe has served as a director of the Company since 1990. He was a partner in the law firm of Foley & Lardner LLP in Milwaukee from 1977 until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Grebe has served since 2002 as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, a private foundation based in Milwaukee. Mr. Grebe is also a director of the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation and Church Mutual Insurance Company. Andy Hove is the Executive Vice President and President, Defense for Oshkosh Corporation. He has responsibility for all aspects of the company's defense business including tactical wheeled vehicles programs, aftermarket parts and service, and advanced technology development. Andy joined the company in March 2009. Andy has been involved with military and defense industry management for more than 20 years. He is a former army officer who served in tank and mechanized infantry units for most of his 11-year military career. At BAE Systems, Inc., he served as vice president, Combat Systems Programs, where he was responsible for a portfolio of domestic and international ground vehicle programs, including Bradley Combat Systems. Prior to that, he was employed with United Defense in program management, operations and business development. Andy has an extensive international background through foreign assignments with the U.S. Army and international assignments in industry including FNSS Defense Systems, Turkey, and Vinnel Corporation, Saudi Arabia. Andy holds a bachelor's degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, a master's degree in national security affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School and a master’s degree in business management from the University of Michigan. He also holds a certificate in program management from the Defense Acquisition University.

Wilson R. Jones is Executive Vice President and President of Fire & Emergency. The Fire & Emergency group consists of the Pierce®, Oshkosh® Airport Products, Medtec®, Jerr-Dan®, BAI™, Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles, Frontline™ and SMIT™ brands. He is responsible for developing and executing the segment’s growth strategies and continually improving customers’ experience with segment products and aftermarket support. He was promoted to this position in September 2008 He also continues to serve as President of Pierce Manufacturing Inc. where he is responsible for Pierce Manufacturing Inc., Medtec Ambulance Corporation and Kewaunee Fabrications, L.L.C. He has held this position since July 2007. Jones has also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Fire and Emergency Group. Jones joined Oshkosh Corporation in 2005, as the Vice President and General Manager of the Airport Products Business Unit, where he led a strategic International initiative for the company. Jones has been in specialty vehicle manufacturing for more than 20 years. The last 12 years have been focused in the fire and emergency industry. Jones has served on the Board of Directors for the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers’ Association and the American Ambulance Association. Jones holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree from the University of North Texas.
