Andre is a self-taught programmer who holds master degree in mathematics of Taiwan National Central University . He started his career as a game programmer at Gamania Inc. Jayan Ramankutty ('71) is Vice President of Cypress Semiconductor's Data Communications division, and co-founder and Director of Empowertel. Jayan was founder, President and COO of Lara Networks, Inc., which he sold to Cypress Semiconductor in 2000. He has held various senior level technical and management positions in Alliance Semiconductor, VIA Technologies and Elxsi. He also founded, and sold Nimbus Technology to Alliance Semiconductor prior to going IPO.
