Merrick's began selling dairy products to the feed industry in 1959. The experience and knowledge Merrick's brought to the industry helped establish the standards by which milk and fat products are judged today. This knowledge contributes to the manufacture of our quality products. We are, as our logo states, "The Performance Leader in Baby Animal Nutrition". Our extensive research in all aspects of baby animal nutrition and development means that we are not only monitoring existing product formulations, but we are also developing innovative products and programs to meet our customers' needs. Since Merrick's is a basic manufacturer of milk protein and fat products, we have accessibility to the highest quality ingredients. Coupled with Merrick's large spray drying facilities, this allows us to provide our customers with the best formulations and the highest quality ingredients available. Merrick's takes quality assurance seriously. Our quality control laboratory, located in Union Center, Wisconsin, guarantees that rigid standards are upheld. Laboratory technicians test all incoming ingredients. To ensure specifications are met in our final products, at least 10% of all Merrick's employees are directly involved in checking the quality of products as they move through the total manufacturing process.
