Anil Batra joins Meru Networks as the Vice President of International Sales. He will be responsible for developing and managing sales strategies and policies for Meru Business in Asia Pacific, Canada, and Latin America. Most recently, Batra served as the Vice President of Global Accounts at Juniper Networks. Prior to this, he was responsible for developing and managing channel strategies and policies for sales of Juniper products into Latin America and Canada as the Vice President of Channels. A 30-year industry veteran, Anil Batra started the operations of Cisco Systems in India and was the President of India and the SAARC Region for Cisco Systems from 1994 to 2000. He was responsible for developing the networking market in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Under Batra's leadership Cisco witnessed a hundred per cent growth in the Indian subcontinent year on year and maintained its number one position in the Indian networking industry. Before joining Cisco, Batra was the Founder and Managing Director of APT Technologies Private Limited a leading networking solutions provider and the Country Channels Manager for Hewlett-Packard India. Batra holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering as well as a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.

Brian K. Paul is a managing director in Private Equity and a partner in Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. Prior to joining Private Equity in 1999, Mr. Paul worked in Lehman Brothers' Global Technology and Healthcare Investment Banking Groups, in New York, London and Los Angeles. Within these investment banking groups, Mr. Paul was responsible for public and private equity offerings as well as strategic advisory assignments. Before joining Lehman Brothers in 1994, Mr. Paul was an associate at First Boston where he was responsible for the purchase and sale of mortgage loan portfolios. He currently is a director of AOptix Technologies, Creekpath Systems, Elemental Security, Isilon Systems, Meru Networks and ShoreTel Communications, and is a board observer of Egenera. He was previously a director of E2O Communications, Inc., sold to JDSU. Mr. Paul holds an M.B.A. with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Barry A. Newman joined NeoCarta Ventures in July of 2006 as a Venture Partner. Mr. Newman has extensive experience in business strategy, financing and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Newman has served as a Vice Chairman of the Technology Group at Bear Stearns, the Head of Global Technology Corporate and Investment Banking for Banc of America Securities and its predecessor Nationsbanc Montgomery Securities and as the head of Global Technology Corporate finance at Salomon Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Newman was a founder and served as CFO of Anthem Partners, a boutique merchant bank. Mr. Newman was also a principal at Odyssey Partners, a private equity and hedge fund organization and has served as CEO and CFO of several financial services and manufacturing organizations. Mr. Newman holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Life Sciences from MIT, MBA and JD degrees from Stanford University and a Master of Laws (Taxation) from NYU. Mr. Newman oversees NeoCarta's investments in Handango and SOMA Networks and serves on the board of directors of Meru Networks. Mr. Newman also serves on the board of directors of Study Dog Inc., SonicSwap Inc. and Outhink Inc. Mr. Newman is also the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Erie Engineered Products, Inc. Mr. Newman is a member of the MIT Visiting Committee on Student Life, the MIT Corporation Development Committee and the Dean's Strategic Council of the Stanford Law School.

Ganapathy is a founding Partner of JumpStartUp-I. At JumpStartUp, Ganapathy led the investments (and exits) in CustomerAsset and Smartcc and served on their boards. Currently he serves on the boards of Apnaloan, NetDevices (India) and Meru Networks (India) and is a board observer at July Systems. Ganapathy also oversees the Fund operations and investor relations. Ganapathy has over 15 years industry experience including 11 years of life cycle experience in Venture Capital investing in India and US. His area of focus has been investments in young and high growth companies in the software and services industries. Ganapathy has held active board member in several technology companies and has assisted the companies successfully execute strategic initiatives like spin-offs, acquisitions, sale, IPO and additional financings. Over his 11 years as a VC, Ganapathy has been directly involved in over 30 investments and 12 exits. Prior to founding JumpStartUp in 2000, Ganapathy served as Group Manager of Private Equity Investments (Information Technology) at ICICI Venture, India's leading venture capital firm. Ganapathy played a lead role in the formulation and implementation of the Software Fund, one of the most successful funds in India (4.6X, IRR: 180%). Ganapathy also made significant contributions to the formulation and execution of the investment plan of ICICI Venture's first offshore fund in partnership with US based Trust Company of West (TCW). Prior to ICICI Venture, he worked for Marico Industries Limited and Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Limited. Ganapathy is well networked in the VC and financial community in the Indian markets and leads efforts in catalysing the development of an ecosystem through various industry associations. Ganapathy graduated with Honours in Chemical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli and has an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India. William Quigley joined Clearstone in February 1999 and focuses on Clearstone's communications investments. His investments are centered around three broad themes: lowering the cost of delivering data and voice services, reducing the manufacturing costs of communications components and enabling the delivery of value added services. William joined Clearstone Venture Partners from Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds, where he invested in early stage communications companies targeting the software, equipment and service sectors. At MAVF, he was responsible for investments in Integrated Chipware, a real time embedded OS developer, Wisor Telecom, an OSS vendor to telecom service providers and NexTone Communications, a manufacturer of voice over IP equipment. Prior to MAVF, William spent six years in a variety of business planning and operational roles at The Walt Disney Company. His work at Disney included designing field operation and sales support systems for several of the company's largest divisions. William also co-managed Disney's merchant banking group where he negotiated and structured equity positions in the company's strategic licensees. Prior to Disney, William was a Senior Consultant with Arthur Andersen's Financial Services Group where he developed financial and business strategies for a wide range of companies in the media and communications and financial services industries. William received his MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School, and holds a BS, with honors, from the University of Southern California. He is a Kauffman Fellow. William currently represents Clearstone's interests in its investments in AOptix Technologies, Meru Networks, Novariant, SoonR, Spock, and SyncVoice. William also represented Clearstone's interest in PeopleSupport (NASDAQ: PSPT) which went public in September 2004.
