Mr. Bruce Aitken of Vancouver, Canada was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Methanex in May 2004. During his long career with Methanex he has held numerous other positions including President and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific (based in New Zealand). He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant).

As Senior Vice President, Finance and CFO, Ian Cameron is focused on developing and implementing financial practices and strategies that not only manage Methanex's financial risks, but provide the financial capacity and flexibility necessary to support the Company's business and strategic goals. Mr. Cameron, with Methanex since its early beginnings in 1993, has played a key role in implementing the Company's core strategy of global leadership, operational excellence and value creation.

As Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, Harvey Weake is focused on developing business opportunities for Methanex in the Asia Pacific region. He also manages the Company’s flexible manufacturing assets in New Zealand and North America. Mr. Weake's more than 25 years experience in the manufacturing sector of the petrochemical and oil industry covers substantial organizational restructuring, operational management and leadership, global networking within manufacturing and project leadership.

Methanex's Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Logistics, is an accomplished senior executive with more than 25 years of diverse international management experience. Mr. Floren oversees four regional marketing offices as well as Methanex's wholly owned shipping subsidiary, Waterfront Shipping. He joined Methanex in 2000 as Director, Information Technology and E-commerce and transitioned to Director, Marketing and Logistics for North America in May 2002.

John Gordon, Senior Vice President, Corporate Resources, has been with Methanex for more than 10 years. During that time, leading human resource management consultants have benchmarked the company's Human Resource practices in the top quartile of high quality organizations. In striving to be the best, Methanex is now viewed as an employer-of-choice in all of the markets in which it competes for talent. Mr. Gordon ensures that the HR strategic planning model is directly linked with Methanex's business strategies of global leadership, operational excellence and value creation.

As Senior Vice President, Caribbean and Global Manufacturing, Jorge Yanez manages a manufacturing team of approximately 350 employees located in Chile and Trinidad & Tobago. He has 30 years of diverse international management experience. Since he joined Methanex in 1988, Mr. Yanez has held a variety of positions in Chile including Plant Manager in Punta Arenas and Manufacturing Director for Methanex Latin America. Most recently he was Vice President, Project Management based out of Houston, Texas.

Drawing upon more than 20 years of chemical industry experience with Methanex (and its predecessor companies), Michael Macdonald, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development provides leadership and direction for all of the Corporation's strategies. This includes corporate analysis and valuation, transactions and project development, and executing a variety of initiatives including technology-related matters.

Paul Schiodtz was appointed Senior Vice President, Latin America in January 2006. This position provides leadership to Methanex’s Latin America region. With Methanex since 1999, Mr. Schiodtz’s prior position was Director, Finance, Latin America. A mechanical engineer, Mr. Schiodtz holds Masters of Science degrees in Management and Operations Research from MIT. He has worked in Canada, Chile and the United States.

As Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Randy Milner is responsible for leading and directing the legal affairs of Methanex. He also ensures that the company's world-wide commercial activities are lawfully carried out and that the various risks which the company faces are fully understood and managed. Mr. Milner is also responsible for managing the governance needs of the company and its subsidiaries. Mr. Milner has been with the legal department since 1995.

Mr. Pierre Choquette of Vancouver, Canada, is Chairman of the Board of Methanex. He was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Methanex from 2003 to 2004 and President and Chief Executive Officer from 1994 to 2003. Mr. Choquette is also a director of the CPP Investment Board. Mr. Choquette holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Science in Chemical Engineering from Laval University. In addition, he is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Methanex for the past four years, Mr. Aitken has celebrated many milestones. This year, Methanex announced it is proceeding with a 1.3 million tonne methanol facility at Damietta, Egypt. Construction is now underway with commercial methanol production slated for 2010. Methanex’s presence in Asia Pacific has also expanded. The company’s regional headquarters have been relocated to Hong Kong and its office in Shanghai is growing. Last year, the company entered into a longterm arrangement with China’s XinAo Group to participate in a dimethyl ether production facility near Shanghai. In the past few years, Methanex also expanded its terminal in Yeosu, Korea, to ensure better security of supply for the entire Asia Pacific region. In 2005, Methanex celebrated the opening of Chile’s fourth methanol plant, making the Chilean site Methanex’s largest methanol facility capable of providing almost 12 per cent of the world’s methanol. An internationally experienced executive, Mr. Aitken has, for nearly 30 years, lived and worked in five different countries on assignments of increasing complexity and seniority. Before assuming his current role as President and CEO, he held a variety of positions with Methanex, including President and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific. In the 1990s, Mr. Aitken led a review of Methanex’s global organization that evolved into its current operating structure. He was influential in establishing Methanex’s core strategies of global leadership, low cost and operational excellence. Prior to joining Methanex, Mr. Aitken was Executive Director of Cape Horn Methanol in Santiago, Chile, from 1991 to 1993. From 1979 to 1991, he also held a number of managerial positions with Fletcher Challenge Limited in New Zealand. Mr. Aitken holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University. He also has an Associate Chartered Accountant designation and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is married and has two grown children. When he finds a spare moment, chances are you will find him skiing, golfing or playing squash. Methanex is the world’s largest producer, distributor and marketer of methanol. Methanex shares are listed for trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada under the trading symbol “MX,” on the NASDAQ Global Market in the United States under the trading symbol “MEOH” and on the Foreign Securities Market of the Santiago Stock Exchange in Chile under the trading symbol “Methanex.”

Mr. Howard Balloch, of Beijing, China, is currently President of The Balloch Group, a private consultancy firm specializing in China and other Asian markets. From 1996 to 2001, he was the Canadian Ambassador to the People's Republic of China. Mr. Balloch also serves on the boards of Ivanhoe Energy Inc. and Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. and is Vice Chairman of the Canada China Business Council. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Economics and a Masters in International Relations, both from McGill University.

Mr. Graham Sweeney, of Sarnia, Canada, was President and Chief Executive Officer of Dow Chemical Canada Inc. from 1993 to 1995. Prior to this he held Vice President positions with The Dow Chemical Company in Asia and the USA. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Natal, in South Africa.

Ms. Janice Rennie, of Edmonton, Canada, was Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness for EPCOR Utilities Inc. She serves on the boards of several large Canadian companies including the Canadian Hotel Income Properties Real Estate Investment Trust, Greystone Capital Management Inc., NOVA Chemicals Corp. and West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. Ms. Rennie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

Monica is the strategic leader for Intervera and brings over twenty five years of senior executive experience to the position. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University and a Masters of Engineering from Stanford University. She has or currently maintains several board positions for organizations such as Methanex, EntX Capital, Ranger Oil, Echo Bay Mines, SMED International, Finning International and the Calgary Opera Society. Monica is also on several private technology advisory boards. Monica was President of Kelman Technologies, the first online data archiving and data management service provider for the upstream exploration marketplace. Monica was also the founding President of TELUS Advanced Communications, responsible for building and delivering high speed IP and data management services to the Alberta business marketplace. In addition, Monica was an independent strategy and management consultant working in energy and technology related fields. Her main areas of focus include business strategy, operations performance management and IT related business transformations across utility, E&P and oil sands operations.

Mr. Terry Poole, of Calgary, Canada, was Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development of NOVA Chemicals Corporation from May 2000 to June 2006. He also serves on the boards of Pengrowth Corporation and Synenco Energy Inc. Mr. Poole is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. He is a Member of the Canadian, Quebec and Ontario Institutes of Chartered Accountants and is also a Member of the Financial Executives Institute.

Mr. John Reid, of Vancouver, Canada, was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Terasen Inc. from 1997 to 2005. He also serves on the board of Finning International Inc. Mr. Reid has an Economics Degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom and is a Fellow of the British Columbia, England and Wales Institutes of Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Bob Kostelnik, of Katy, Texas, USA was Vice President of Refining for CITGO from July 2006 until his retirement in 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Kostelnik held a number of senior positions during his 16 years with CITGO. He attended the University of Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) with honors and is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Terry Poole has served as Executive Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Development of Nova Chemicals Corporation, an NYSE and TSX listed company since 2000. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice-President, Finance and Strategy for two years. From 1988 to 2006 he has held several senior management roles within Nova Corporation of Alberta and Nova Corporation including Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Poole is a member of the Canadian, Quebec and Ontario Institutes of Chartered Accountants and of the Financial Executives Institute.

Thomas M Hamilton has served as a director of TODCO since May 2004. Mr. Hamilton is the founder and co-owner of Medora Investments, LLC. He served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of EEX Corporation from January 1997 until his retirement in November 2002. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Hamilton served as Executive Vice President of Pennzoil Company and as President of Pennzoil Exploration and Production Company. Mr. Hamilton was a director of BP Exploration, where he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Frontier and International Operating Company of BP Exploration from 1989 to 1991 and as the General Manager for East Asia/Australia/Latin America from 1988 to 1989. From 1985 to 1988, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Exploration at Standard Oil Company, prior to its being merged into BP. Mr. Hamilton is also a director and member of the audit committee of FMC Technologies Inc. and is a member of the board of directors of Methanex Corporation.
