Methylgene Inc.

Mr. Grubsztajn has lead MethylGene's business development activities since 2005. His responsibilities include seeking licensing opportunities and negotiating the Company's corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, licensing deals and research collaborations. Mr. Grubsztajn has played a leading role in outlicensing deals that together have generated more than US$100 million in cash. He led MethylGene's 2006 US$272M cancer co-development and profit-share deal with Pharmion Corporation (now Celgene). More recently, he led business efforts to form a research partnership with Otsuka Pharmaceuticals for ocular diseases. Prior to MethylGene, he was at Caprion Pharmaceuticals (now Thallion), where he was involved in numerous technology outlicensing and inlicensing deals with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as academia and governments. Mr Grubsztajn is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and the Canadian Healthcare Licensing Association and has presented at several workshops. He has been a board member of the Maimonides Geriatric Center Foundation since 2001. In 2008, He was granted the Certified Licensing Professional designation from the Licensing Executives Society. He received his MBA and Law degrees from McGill University.

Mr. Moorin is a founding General Partner at ProQuest. He is a healthcare executive with senior management experience in biotech, investment banking and pharmaceutical industry. Prior to founding ProQuest, Mr. Moorin served as CEO of Magainin Pharmaceuticals (now Genaera Corp.). Previously, he was Managing Director of Health Care Banking at Bear, Stearns & Co. Mr. Moorin has also held various positions in strategy and general management at E.R. Squibb & Sons Pharmaceuticals. He has served on the Board of Directors of ACMI, Epic Therapeutics, Guava Technologies, Novacea and Pharmion. Currently, Mr. Moorin serves on the Board of Directors of Acurian, Eagle Pharmaceuticals, Gloucester Pharmaceuticals, Mersana and MethylGene. Mr. Moorin holds the position of Adjunct Senior Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. He received a B.A. in economics with distinction from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Archimbaud is an executive with extensive experience in the life sciences sector, serving in various roles in the industry for more than 25 years. He held progressively senior roles in sales, marketing, and business development in his 20 years with Ipsen, a European pharmaceutical company, and contributed to its international expansion. Mr. Archimbaud then took on the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Vancouver-based Kinetek Pharmaceuticals Inc., a biotechnology start-up recognized for its expertise in the field of molecular biology (kinases and phosphatases inhibitors). Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Life Sciences for the Societe generale de financement du Quebec (SGF), a government-owned investment entity. Mr. Archimbaud is currently working as an advisor at Archimbaud Conseils, offering consultancy to investors and biopharmaceutical companies, sharing with them his wide range of international professional networks and experience.

Dr. Drutz's career spans 36 years in clinical medicine and patient care, basic and clinical research, pharmaceutical and biotechnology operational and research management and venture capital. Dr. Drutz is a General Partner with Pacific Rim Ventures Co., Ltd., an international venture capital investment firm focused on life sciences with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Tranzyme, Inc. located in Research Triangle Park, NC and Tranzyme Pharma Inc., Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. Dr. Drutz's past experiences include Professor of Medicine and Microbiology and Chief Division of Infectious Diseases, University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas; Vice President, Biological Sciences and Vice President, Clinical Investigation for Smith Kline & French Laboratories, Ltd.; and Vice President and Director, Daiichi Pharmaceutical Corporation. He has also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of two drug discovery and drug development companies, Sennes Drug Innovations Inc., Houston, Texas; and Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISPH), Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Drutz holds a B.A. and M.D. from the University of Louisville.

Louis P. Lacasse, of Montreal, Quebec, has served on the Board since December 1995. He is President of GeneChem Management Inc., an organization that manages biotechnology venture capital funds. Prior to joining GeneChem in April 1997, Mr. Lacasse was Vice-President of Healthcare and Biotechnology at SOFINOV, the venture capital subsidiary of the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec. During his ten years with SOFINOV and the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, Mr. Lacasse was involved in numerous investments in small and medium-sized businesses in high technology industries such as biotechnology, software and telecommunications. He was also responsible for setting up a network of regional venture capital funds throughout Quebec and for investments in funds both in Canada and the United States. Mr. Lacasse is presently a director of Methylgene Inc., Warnex Inc. and Chromos Molecular Systems Inc., three publicly traded companies and of merillon Therapeutique Inc., a privately held company. He is also Chairman of the Audit Committee of the three publicly traded companies enumerated above.

Dr. Godbout is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Genome Canada since April 2000, and was formerly the Senior Vice President of BioCapital and President and General Manager of Societe Innovatech Quebec. He was a member of the board of the "Conseil de la Science et de la Technologie du Quebec" from October 1996 to 2004 and has been an Advisory member of several Canadian biopharmaceutical venture firms such as SGF Sante, Societe Innovatech du Grand Montreal and Royal Bank Ventures Inc. In 2005, Dr. Godbout was named Officer of the Order of Canada. He was also awarded the Grand Prix de Recherche from the Quebec Foundation for Mental Disorders for his previous work on Alzheimer's disease in 1991 and the "Prix Summa" in 1994 from the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Universite Laval. In 1994, he also founded BioContact Quebec which has become one of the most important biopharmaceutical symposiums in North America. He holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Physiology and Molecular Endocrinology from Universite Laval. In March 2006, Dr. Godbout was shortlisted by the editors of Nature Biotechnology, as one of 20 nominees who have made the most remarkable and influential contribution to biotech in the past ten years in the category "Biobusiness in the Rest of the World".
