Walking through the rooms at the Metro Design Center gives you dozens of flooring ideas. And if that still doesn't inspire you, a chat with Kevin Hausman certainly will. Hausman serves as President for Metro and leads the charge to supply and install all of the necessary components for commercial and residential interior design projects. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Hausman puts his years of experience in the commercial flooring industry to work for Metro's customers. From start to finish, Metro provides not only the inspiration for great interior design, but supplies everything from flooring to draperies, slipcovers, re-upholstery, furniture and furnishings, including custom orders.

Peter is vice president of Metro and is the manager of the operation. Previously Peter managed our branch in Alberton for a number of years before moving to Charlottetown in 1997.

Ben founded the imaging group, Metro, over 25 years ago, now a 150 staff, 10m operation providing studio, lighting and camera hire, film and consumable sales, film processing and printing, image manipulation and pre-press services. Coming from an image production background Ben could see the advantages of centralisation and rationalisation of image storage and distribution and was the first investor in Adgistics .

Michael Lejeune is currently Creative Director for Metro (Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority). Metro's 20-person Design Studio creates all things visual for the nation's third-largest transit agency, including advertising, wayfinding and environmental graphics, timetables, maps, fare media and customer information, bus and rail fleet design, websites and merchandising. Prior to joining Metro, Michael was Project Director at KBDA, an award-winning design studio in West Los Angeles. He managed projects for Acura, Nike, 3Com, UCLA and Hilton Hotels, as well as writing for the City of Monterey, La Opinion and MicroTherapeutics. Before joining KBDA he was Creative Director for the 32-member in-house marketing agency of City of Hope Cancer Center. Michael graduated from UCLA in 1986 with a degree in Communication Studies. He has been a speaker at AIGA/LA's inaugural Shop Talk series, at STEP Inside Design's bi-annual conference, and at AIGA/LA's first Inside the Industry series. He recently completed the AIGA/Harvard Business School "Business Perspectives for Design Leaders" program. Michael lives with his wife, Jennifer Bedford, and children Helen and James in South Pasadena.

Patrick Hall joins Metro as the new Director of East Coast Business Development. Recently retired from Cooper/T. Smith, Hall brings 37 years of industry experience in Operations and Marketing. Hall is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point.

Emily is Metro's Front Office Manager and the first voice you hear when contacting us. She is responsible for assisting with registration and eligibility documentation as well as monitoring our testing and tutorial center.

Alex has been musically associated with Santana for more than eighteen years. This clearly exhibits the regard that Carlos Santana holds for Alex's musical talents. A perfect showcase for Alex's vocal power is "Somewhere in Heaven", a ballad from "Milagro", co-written by Alex that brings both sides of Alex and Santana together -- the lyrical and the fiery -- in a passionate, spiritual tour-de-force. His vocal talents have also been featured on the Spyro Gyra album "Dreams Beyond Control", an honor considering that Spyro Gyra is strictly an "instrumental band". Alex has also recorded on albums with Ben E. King, Didier Lockwood, Carly Simon, The Dixie Dregs, Michelle Colombier, Jeff Lorber, Billy Squier and many others. Alex currently resides in Southern California. He is currently working on solo projects, as well as performing with his band Metro. He is also working on side projects with various other bands, including live performances with the David Garfield and Friends Band, Billy Cobham and Friends Band, and with Jason Scheff in the bands Painted Rhythm and Border Patrol.

Arthur joined Metro in 1999 establishing a unique property underwriting hub in Pennsylvania. An underwriter with twenty-five years of insurance company experience, Arthur not only brought knowledge to the table, but also a tried and true following of wholesale agent relationships. Wholesalers come to us, because we have the capacity they need. With binding authority on behalf of Lloyd's of London to write up to $17,500,000 in property limits, the results have been tremendous. Because of Art's experience as an underwriter, he works with other wholesalers who cannot write the limits they need by themselves.

Barbara brings over 20 years of accounting experience to Metro. A retired CPA, Barbara is responsible for all aspects of the financial operations of the company. Having an experienced accountant on staff is extremely beneficial to the organization and to our clients.

Benny is the Executive Pastor at Metro, responsible for the local ministry here in Orlando. Benny also gives pastoral care in addition to and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church. Benny gives oversight to the Homeschool Support Groups and School of the Word which is our ongoing teaching ministry for Metro members. Prior to coming to Orlando, Benny served as a senior pastor at our related church in Fairfax, Virginia. Crysti Foote A graduate of Suffern High School she was an inaugural participant of Metro in 1998 with Metro's first team. Foote recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Business/ Marketing and was also a 4-year monogram Irish Women's lacrosse player. Foote, a two time high school and college All-American finished her outstanding career as Captain and all time leader in goals, assists, and draw controls at Notre Dame. She lead the NCAA in goals and total points and was named NCAA National Attack player of the year and was a finalist for the prestigious Teewaraton award. Foote also led the Big East in points and was Big East Player of the year. A member of the Canadian National team, Foote and her team finished 4th in the World Cup in 2005. Foote brings division one and also international experience to Metro. Foote also offers strong leadership skills, coaching experience, and mentoring to this fine program.

David Hoggarth has been appointed to the new post of Metro's Director of Development. David, who became Metro's Assistant Director of Development in 2001, has worked for Metro for nearly nine years and was previously its Rail Services Manager. Before that he worked at City of York Council and JMP Consultants.

David Pulsipher moved to Los Angeles to pursue his Masters degree in Urban Planning from UCLA. After a month of bus-hopping, he bought a bike and has never looked back. Several months later he found the family of Santa Monica Critical Mass which further dialed him into the LA bike scene. He has been a volunteer for the Bikerowave since August of 2007. He also serves as a board member for C.I.C.L.E. David is also the Bike Coordinator for Metro. He helps run the bicycle locker program, providing bicycle lockers and racks at many of Metro's transit stations. He also creates policy recommendations and conducts research on bicyclists attitudes/behaviors.

Helen Ortiz has been employed by Metro for the past ten years in the Community Relations Department. In her current assignment she serves as a Regional Community Relations Manager for the San Gabriel Valley and the unincorporated area of East Los Angeles. Ortiz's career spans 35 years experience in Public and Media Relations, 25 of these years have been in Transportation. She holds active memberships in the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, San Gabriel Public Affairs Network and the Southern California Public Affairs Association.

Karen Cossu has been with Metro since 1999 and has served as Controller since 2001. Karen holds a B.S. in Accounting from Oakland University in Oakland Michigan. Karen has more than 20 years experience and is responsible for Metro's Financial Group and Human Resources. Previously, Karen served 20 years as the C.F.O. for Intercool, Inc a subsidiary of Sky Chefs.

Mel Huie is the Regional Trails Coordinator for Metro's Parks and Greenspaces Department. Metro is the regional government for the Portland metropolitan region. Mel has worked for Metro and its predecessor CRAG (Columbia Region Association of Governments) since 1977. He has served as a parks and trails planner for Metro since 1988 and was a key team member in the development of the Greenspaces Program and Master Plan in 1992. He initiated the regional Greenspaces program at Metro in 1988. Mel's coordinates Metro's quarterly trails committee, which brings together bicycle and pedestrian trail planners from throughout the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan region on a regular basis to help plan and implement the regional system of trails. Mel has volunteered for the Chinese Classical Garden and the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association.

Michael J. (Mike) Curran, CPA is Manager of Pension, Trust and Tax Revenue at the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas. He is Plan Administrator for the METRO Pension Plans, Health & Welfare Trust and the 457 Deferred Compensation Plan. He joined METRO in 1995 after working in private industry for a number of years. He holds a BBA degree from the University of Cincinnati and is a Chartered Pension Executive by the Society of Pension Professionals.

Molly is the Sustainability Coordinator for Metro in Portland. She has worked in both the non-profit and public sectors to promote sustainable practices with colleges, hospitals, and within local government. Molly worked closely with the Center's staff in developing a Toxics Reduction Strategy for Multnomah County and City of Portland operations.

As the pastor of Metro, Peter brings years of real-life experience in the television industry, a vision for a relevant church culture, and a passion for the poor and the oppressed. Peter completed his Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA and has returned to the NJ/NY area to plant a church that would reach the next generation.

Mr. Gustafson graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Yale University and a Masters Degree in Urban Economics from Wayne State University. From 1969 to 1973, Mr. Gustafson was a Research Economist for General Motors Corporation in Warren, Michigan. For the following two years he served as a Senior Planner for Tri-Met and was responsible for the operational planning of the Transit Mall. Mr. Gustafson entered the political arena in 1975 when he was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives and served on the Ways and Means Committee through two legislative sessions. In 1978, he was elected to be the first Executive Officer for Metro (Portland regional government) and served two terms until 1987. Mr. Gustafson joined SOJ in 1987 and was made a principal in 1994. He currently serves as the Director of Operations for the Portland Streetcar project.

Selene Faer Dalton-Kumins has been focusing on disability awareness and advocacy work for the last 20 years. She has written and delivered over 2,000 speeches on disability issues, most with fundraising objectives, to civic, business, and educational organizations. Selene persuaded individuals and groups to implement fundraising programs resulting in hands-on work in hundreds of fundraising efforts including community events, fundraising drives, and benefit performances. During the 1988 presidential campaign, Selene was asked to speak about disability issues in a national public forum on behalf of a candidate. She presented her speech during the last days of the election at a podium shared with senators, representatives, and the candidate. While majoring in drama at Duke University Selene provided perspective on appropriate attitudinal, academic, and structural changes to the Duke University Task Force on Disability. Her experiences at Duke, the evidence she gathered, and the complaint she filed with the Department of Justice resulted in the single largest settlement reached between the DOJ and a college or university under the ADA. During law school at Emory University, Selene conducted research for the oral argument of Olmstead before the U.S. Supreme Court. While working directly with and advocating for clients, she researched the legal rights of individuals under federal law. In her private advocacy and mentoring efforts she has negotiated with organizations, medical professionals, school systems, and governmental entities to attain equal access to medical services, education, transportation, recreation, and opportunity for people with disabilities. Selene works at Metro as the ADA Communication Outreach Specialist. Selene is also President of BrightLine Group, a multi-facited consulting company offering training, event management, access consulting, editing, proofreading, and graphic design services. She is also a Commissioner on Arlington's Human Rights Commission and a board member, staff member, and performer with Open Circle Theatre, the DC metro region's first professional theatre company focused on the integration of people with and without disabilities into every aspect of production. Selene offers many skills and a great deal of experience. She has been a contributing member of the ECNV Board.

William P. Crawford is a member of the board of directors for Steelcase Inc., a position he was elected to in 1979. Steelcase Inc., the global leader in the office furniture industry, delivers a better work experience to its customers by providing products, services and insights into the ways people work. Its portfolio includes architecture, furniture and technology products. Bill retired in May 2000 with 34 years of service. Since 1991, he was president and chief executive officer of the Steelcase Design Partnership, a group of six design-oriented companies serving the contract and residential furnishings markets. Member companies include Brayton International, DesignTex, Details, JM Lynne Co., Inc., Metro, Vecta and Wigand. In his nine-year tenure, the SDP increased in sales and profitability by 300 percent, introduced 200 new products and became an important component of Steelcase Inc.'s growth strategy. From 1986 until 1991, Bill was president of Stow Davis, a premier manufacturer of fine wood furniture. He joined Stow Davis in 1985 as vice president of operations, shortly after the company was acquired by Steelcase Inc. Bill began his career with Steelcase in 1965 as a time study engineer. He subsequently held positions in industrial engineering and plant management before joining Stow Davis. Bill attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where he studied history and psychology.

Evan is a native of Madisonville, Kentucky and college graduate of Murray State University. Evan moved to Evansville in early spring 1994 as an Assistant Golf Professional at the Evansville Country Club after serving as the Head Professional at Murray Country Club for a short time. He married Allison Carr in September of 1994 and shortly thereafter joined Old National Bank as a Management Trainee. While at Old National Bank, he worked in the Commercial Lending Division and finished his five-year banking career as Vice President of Commercial Lending. During his years at Old National Bank he served as the Commercial Loan Officer on the Woodward account handling the commercial real estate lending services for Bob Woodward, Sr. and Bob Woodward, Jr. from which grew an ever-lasting professional and personal relationship. He joined the Woodward team as Vice President of Development and partner in May of 1999. In May of 2002, Evan became the Owner and President of Woodward Commercial Realty, Inc. and Woodward Development and Construction, Inc. Evan is a member of the board and Executive Committee Vice-Chair for the Evansville Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, serves as the Board Chair of the Dunigan Family YMCA as well as serves on the Metro Board for the YMCA. In addition, Evan is a member of the Board of Advisors for the School of Business at the University of Southern Indiana and is a board member of the newly formed Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana. He and his wife Allison were blessed with birth of their son, Walker, on December 28, 2000 and currently reside in Newburgh.

Linda has been a member of Metro since 1991. Over the years, she has served in several ministries and continues to serve in Adventureland and Kids Bible Kamp. Linda joined the Metro staff in August, 2004. She brings with her a heart to serve and over 20 years of office experience. Linda enjoys working with the staff and volunteers and feels very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to use her abilities to serve God through Metro. Linda and her husband, Scott, have two sons, Bradley and Bryan.
