Mr. Sanghi was named the President of Microchip in August 1990, Chief Executive Officer in October 1991 and the Chairman of the Board of Directors in October 1993. Before joining the Company, Mr. Sanghi was Vice President of Operations at Waferscale Integration, Inc., a semiconductor company, from 1988 to 1990. Mr. Sanghi was employed by Intel Corporation from 1978 to 1988, where he held various positions in management and engineering, the most recent serving as General Manager of Programmable Memory Operations. Mr. Sanghi holds a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communication from Punjab University, India.

Mr. Parnell has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since May 2000. He served as Vice President, Controller and Treasurer from April 1993 to May 2000. Mr. Parnell holds a finance/accounting qualification with the Association of Certified Accountants from Edinburgh College, Scotland.

Mr. Bjornholt has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 2009, and has served as Corporate Secretary since 2003. He served as Director of Financial Reporting and Tax from 2003 to 2008. He has held various other financial management positions within Microchip since joining the company in 1995. Prior to joining Microchip, Mr. Bjornholt was employed by KPMG LLP. Mr. Bjornholt holds a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Arizona and a Masters degree from Arizona State University.

Ganesh Moorthy has served as Executive Vice President for Microchip Technology Incorporated since October 2006. From November 2001 to October 2006 Mr. Moorthy served as Vice President of the Advanced Microcontroller and Automotive Division (AMAD). Mr. Moorthy holds an M.B.A. in marketing from the National University, Sacramento, Calif.; a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash.; and a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Bombay, Bombay, India.

Mr. Lambert has served as Vice President, Fab Operations since November 1993. From 1991 to November 1993, he served as Director of Manufacturing Engineering, and from 1988 to 1991, he served as Engineering Manager of Fab Operations. Mr. Lambert holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Mr. Little has served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Applications since July 2000. From April 1998 through July 2000, he served as Vice President, Americas Sales. From November 1995 to April 1998, he served as Vice President, Standard Microcontroller and ASSP Division. From September 1993 to November 1995, he served as Vice President, Memory Products and ASSP Division. Mr. Little holds a BSET from United Electronics Institute.

Mr. Simoncic has served as Vice President, Microperipheral Products Division since September 1999. From January 1996 to September 1999, he served as Vice President, Memory and Specialty Products Division. From October of 1995 to January 1996, he served as Vice President of Yield and Manufacturing Engineering. Mr. Simoncic holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.

Mr. Drehobl has served as Vice President of the Security, Microcontroller and Technology Division since July 2001. He has been employed by Microchip Technology since August 1989 and has served as a Vice President of Microchip Technology since February 1997. Mr. Drehobl holds a Bachelor of Technology from the University of Dayton.

As a marketing manager for Microchip's memory products, Alex's function is in both strategic and tactical roles when bringing new serial EEPROM products to market. Before joining Microchip, he worked as a hardware and firmware engineer at Motorola, where he designed digital radios and communications systems for the military. Alex has a B.S in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University with a broad experience in engineering, sales and marketing.

As marketing manager for Microchip's memory business, Barry's focus is on defining and marketing new products for the company's serial EEPROM product line. Before joining Microchip, he worked in business development at Intel Corporation where he marketed embedded control products. Barry has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University.

Youbok Lee is a technical staff engineer at Microchip Technology Inc. He has been with Microchip since November of 1997, when he joined the company as a passive RFID device engineer. Currently, Dr. Lee is working on PIC microcontrollers and Microchip's analog and interface products. He has over 20 years of industry experiences in RF, embedded circuits and remote sensing applications. Dr. Lee holds a BS from the Yeungnam University in Korea, an MS from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and a Ph.D. from the Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.

Albert Hugo-Martinez is a results oriented executive with over 30 years management experience in the electronics industry. He is currently chairman of the board at High Voltage Vertical Innovation, a high voltage frequency transistor company in Phoenix, Ariz. and of Power Control Networks, a power line communication company in San Diego, Calif. In addition, he is chairman of Reaction Design, San Diego, Calif., a software company focused on simulating engine designs as well as optimizing energy consumption by using alternate fuels. Albert is the former CEO of AMCC, GTI Corporation (GGTI) and currently serves on the board of Microchip (MCHP). He has previously served on the boards of ON Semi (ONNN), Amkor manufacturing (AMKR) and as Chairman of Ramtron International (RMTR). Mr. Hugo-Martinez has over 30 years of P&L experience and has negotiated, built, and managed facilities in Scotland and Japan, managed remote facilities in the Philippines and the People's Republic of China, negotiated international strategic alliances, e.g., Plessey (UK), Seiko Epson (Japan), H.P. (US), AMP (US), Read-Rite (US). Albert participated as COO in Burr Brown's (BBRC) IPO, the sale of two divisions of TRW, raised $12 million in venture capital for AMCC, and acquired a fabless semiconductor company. Also for shareholder's benefit, has positioned and sold 3 companies/division of GGTI. Albert has a BSEE from Northern Arizona University, a MSEE from University of Arizona, and a three year MBA in Executive Management from Arizona State University. He serves on the Board of Directors of the UCSD Cancer Center.

Mr. Meyercord has been Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors since October 1994. He is President of Meyercord & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in executive compensation since 1987. From 1999 to 2002 he was Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration, and Chief Financial Officer of Rioport, Inc., an applications service provider for digital music distribution. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Diamond Multimedia Systems, Inc., a multimedia connectivity company, from 1997 to 1999; and Chief Executive Officer of Read-Rite Corporation, an electronic data storage company, from 1984 to 1987. He is a Director of Microchip Technology, Inc. since 1999, and of Endwave Corporation since 2004.
