Minerals Technologies Inc.

Joseph C. Muscari is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI). The Board of Directors elected him to this position in 2007. Before joining MTI, Mr. Muscari was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alcoa Inc. from 2005 to 2007; Group President—Rigid Packaging, Foil & Asia from 2004 to 2005; Executive Vice President and Group President, Asia & Latin America from 2001 to 2004; and Vice President Environment, Health, Safety, Audit and Compliance from 1997 to 2001 of Alcoa Inc. He was also a Director of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited since June 2002. Mr. Muscari has served as Director of Minerals Technologies Inc. since January 2005.

John A. Sorel was elected Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer in November 2002. Prior to that time he was elected Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Finance on January 1, 2002 and prior to 2002 he held positions of increasing authority with the Company, most recently Vice President and Managing Director, Paper PCC.

D. Randy Harrison was elected Senior Vice President, Organization and Human Resources effective January 1, 2008. Prior to that he had been Vice President and Managing Director, Performance Minerals since January 2002.

William Wilkins is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Minteq International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Minerals Technologies Inc. Mr. Wilkins joined MTI in June 2007 as Vice President, Global Supply Chain & Logistics. Mr. Wilkins has more than 20 years of operational and financial management in Fortune 500 manufacturing companies and Tier 1 suppliers serving a wide variety of industries. He has worked extensively in Europe, the Middle East, Far East and the United States. In 2006 he founded Management Services, a consultancy specializing in advising corporate and private equity clients on strategy, performance improvement, due diligence and acquisition target selection in the aerospace, defense and industrial sectors. Before starting his consultancy, he was president and chief executive officer of Sermatech International Inc., an engineered coatings applicator and specialty process business serving the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries in North America, Europe and Asia. Sermatech had been part of Teleflex Inc. which designs, manufactures and distributes specialty engineered products to a wide range of industries. Bill previously served as vice president and chief financial officer of the Teleflex Aerospace Group before leading the spin off of Sermatech. Prior to joining Teleflex, Bill worked for the Howmet Castings Business Unit of Alcoa, where he served as head of finance and administration for the Aluminum Casting Group, and before that group controller, International Operations. Bill Wilkins holds an undergraduate degree in Business Studies from Greenwich University in London and an MBA from Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. He is co-chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group's International Sub-Group, a member of the International Executive Resource Group and the Aerospace Industries Association.

Douglas W. Mayger is Vice President and Managing Director, Performance Minerals Inc. Mr. Mayger joined Minerals Technologies in February 2002 as Plant Manager in Lucerne Valley California. He was named Business Manager in 2005, and General Manager - Carbonates West in 2007. He was named to his present position in October 2008. Prior to joining MTI, Mr. Mayger held various positions of increasing responsibility at Aggregate Industries, Medusa Aggregates, Vulcan Materials Company and Allied Chemical. Mr. Mayger holds a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.

Alain F. Bouruet-Aubertot is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Minteq International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Minerals Technologies Inc. Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot joined MTI in 2002. Prior to coming to MTI, Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot joined Rhone Poulenc S.A., Chemical Division, in 1983 as Purchasing Manager and held various positions of increasing responsibility including Process Development Manager; Product Development Manager; Manager, Strategic Planning; Vice President, Manufacturing; and Business Director. He left in 1994 to join Lafarge S.A. as Senior Vice President, Strategy & Development. Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot was promoted to President, Gypsum Division, and Corporate Senior Vice President of Lafarge North America in 1996 and remained in that role until he left in 2002 to join MTI. He is a member of the MTI Management Committee. He is a 1980 graduate of Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Paris (ENSCP), France, with a degree in Chemical Engineering. In 1982 Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure du Petrole et des Moteurs (ENSPM) in Paris with a graduate degree in Petroleum Economics. Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot graduated from the Harvard Business School, Executive Program on emerging markets in Asia, in 1995.

Retired in January 2002 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Bethlehem Steel Corporation. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bethlehem Steel from April 2000 to September 2001. President and Chief Operating Officer from 1999 to April 2000 and President of the Sparrows Point division from 1993 to 1999. Director of Bethlehem Steel Corporation from 1999 to 2001. Director of Minerals Technologies Inc. since October 2002 and current member of the Compensation Committee and of the Corporate Governance & Nominating Committee.

Dr. Reid, 65, has enjoyed a distinguished career as senior corporate executive, strategic planner, economist and university professor. He currently serves on the Boards of Minerals Technologies Inc., Center for Global Development and Citizens' Committee for Children. He is Adjunct Professor, Managing Global Corporations, at Stern Business School, New York University. Dr. Reid retired from daily corporate life in 2000 after 18 years with Colgate Palmolive Company, where he served as Chief Technological Officer, responsible for Global Research & Development, Information Technology and the Manufacturing/Supply Chain. This followed initiation of Colgate's first strategic plan and subsequent leadership of subsidiaries in Greece, the United Kingdom and Australia / South Pacific. Earlier, he spent 13 years with Pfizer, where he provided strategic planning and was Assistant to the President, International, among other international operations assignments. He began his career as a business economist with W.R. Grace. He holds a D Phil in international marketing from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar and played rugby for the university. He was recently awarded an Honorary D.Sc. from Massey University. His undergraduate degree was from the University of New Zealand. He is a New Zealand citizen and a U.S. permanent resident.

Ms. Cholmondeley is a private consultant on Strategic Planning. She served as the Vice President and General Manager of Specialty Products for Sappi Fine Paper, a subsidiary of Sappi Limited from April 2000 until January 2004, and prior to that from January 1998 until April 2000, she was a private consultant on Strategic Planning and Mergers and Acquisitions. From 1992 until January 1998, Ms. Cholmondeley held various management positions with Owens Corning, including General Manager of Residential Insulation.
