Minerals Technologies Inc. (the "Company") is a resource- and technology-based company that develops, produces and markets worldwide a broad range of specialty mineral, mineral-based and synthetic mineral products and supporting systems and services. The Company has two reportable segments: Specialty Minerals and Refractories. The Specialty Minerals segment produces and sells the synthetic mineral product precipitated calcium carbonate ("PCC") and processed mineral product quicklime ("lime"), and mines mineral ores then processes and sells natural mineral products, primarily limestone and talc. This segment's products are used principally in the paper, building materials, paint and coatings, glass, ceramic, polymer, food, automotive and pharmaceutical industries. The Refractories segment produces and markets monolithic and shaped refractory materials and specialty products, services and application and measurement equipment, and calcium metal and metallurgical wire products. Refractories segment products are primarily used in high-temperature applications in the steel, non-ferrous metal and glass industries.

William Wilkins is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Minteq International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Minerals Technologies Inc. Mr. Wilkins joined MTI in June 2007 as Vice President, Global Supply Chain & Logistics. Mr. Wilkins has more than 20 years of operational and financial management in Fortune 500 manufacturing companies and Tier 1 suppliers serving a wide variety of industries. He has worked extensively in Europe, the Middle East, Far East and the United States. In 2006 he founded Management Services, a consultancy specializing in advising corporate and private equity clients on strategy, performance improvement, due diligence and acquisition target selection in the aerospace, defense and industrial sectors. Before starting his consultancy, he was president and chief executive officer of Sermatech International Inc., an engineered coatings applicator and specialty process business serving the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries in North America, Europe and Asia. Sermatech had been part of Teleflex Inc. which designs, manufactures and distributes specialty engineered products to a wide range of industries. Bill previously served as vice president and chief financial officer of the Teleflex Aerospace Group before leading the spin off of Sermatech. Prior to joining Teleflex, Bill worked for the Howmet Castings Business Unit of Alcoa, where he served as head of finance and administration for the Aluminum Casting Group, and before that group controller, International Operations. Bill Wilkins holds an undergraduate degree in Business Studies from Greenwich University in London and an MBA from Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. He is co-chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group's International Sub-Group, a member of the International Executive Resource Group and the Aerospace Industries Association.

Alain F. Bouruet-Aubertot is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Minteq International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Minerals Technologies Inc. Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot joined MTI in 2002. Prior to coming to MTI, Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot joined Rhone Poulenc S.A., Chemical Division, in 1983 as Purchasing Manager and held various positions of increasing responsibility including Process Development Manager; Product Development Manager; Manager, Strategic Planning; Vice President, Manufacturing; and Business Director. He left in 1994 to join Lafarge S.A. as Senior Vice President, Strategy & Development. Mr. Bouruet-Aubertot was promoted to President, Gypsum Division, and Corporate Senior Vice President of Lafarge North America in 1996 and remained in that role until he left in 2002 to join MTI. He is a member of the MTI Management Committee. He is a 1980 graduate of Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Paris (ENSCP), France, with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Reid, 65, has enjoyed a distinguished career as senior corporate executive, strategic planner, economist and university professor. He currently serves on the Boards of Minerals Technologies Inc., Center for Global Development and Citizens' Committee for Children. He is Adjunct Professor, Managing Global Corporations, at Stern Business School, New York University. Dr. Reid retired from daily corporate life in 2000 after 18 years with Colgate Palmolive Company, where he served as Chief Technological Officer, responsible for Global Research & Development, Information Technology and the Manufacturing/Supply Chain. This followed initiation of Colgate's first strategic plan and subsequent leadership of subsidiaries in Greece, the United Kingdom and Australia / South Pacific. He began his career as a business economist with W.R. Grace. He holds a D Phil in international marketing from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar and played rugby for the university.
