Yoshi Yusa has more than thirty-two years of experience in the information technology sector, providing sales, marketing and operational experience to both established and start-up companies. He has participated in the complete range of company development -- from creating the business plan to developing and implementing operational models for established enterprise IT companies. Prior to Mirapoint Software, Yoshi worked for companies such as EMC Japan as Senior Managing Director of Sales, HP Japan as Managing Director of Partner Group as well as Sun Microsystems Japan for 10 years in the role of Managing Director of OEM and Global Business Development. In addition, he has been a President and Representative Director at Windriver Systems and Ntru cryptsystems. Yoshi has BC in Mechanical Engineering from Nihon University and 1 year scholarship(Engineering) at MIT(US)

Mr. Linden is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer. He will help define Mirapoint's vision and corporate strategy, as well as oversee all of Mirapoint's financials and financial-related reporting. Formerly a Chief Strategist at Openwave, Mr. Linden was responsible for developing product and business strategy for all of Openwave's messaging products. Prior to this position, Mr. Linden served as Vice President and General Manager of unified messaging at Openwave and was previously the Chief Financial Officer at Onebox.com prior to its acquisition by Openwave in 2000. To further Mr. Linden's messaging and Internet experience, he also held executive management positions with Octel Communications Corporation and Global Village Communication. Mr. Linden is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley and holds a master's degree in business administration from the Harvard School of Business Administration.

Frank Knifsend is responsible for the successful execution of the company's strategy, and directs the marketing, North American sales, customer service and operations organizations. Frank joined Mirapoint from Oracle where he was responsible for the product strategy of the company's integrated middleware platform. His focus was establishing Oracle's leadership in middleware and SOA, and the combined applications+technology strategy resulting from its highly visible acquisitions. Frank has over 20 years in the enterprise IT industry, and has held executive positions at start-up and established companies including TIBCO, Slam Dunk Networks, Sagent Technology, and Forte Software. He began his career at Accenture, where as a manager in the high technology practice, he was the architect for a number of large scale, distributed systems projects at Sun Microsystems, Apple, and Autodesk. Frank has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a M.B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles.

Jerry Davis brings over 20 years of business and strategic leadership to his position as Chief Operating Officer for ShotSpotter. Prior to ShotSpotter, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at Mirapoint. Earlier, Mr. Davis held the position of Acting CEO at Mirapoint where he put the company on a path to six quarters of consecutive revenue growth. Before Mirapoint, Mr. Davis acted as President and COO of Wytec, a leader in the development of Local Multipoint Distribution Services (LMDS) fixed wireless equipment. There he negotiated partnerships in China and Europe and managed all aspects of the business outside of Finance and HR. Prior to Wytec, he was VP of Operations and Customer Logistics at Nokia Internet Communications (NIC) and VP of Operations at Silicon Wireless (a.k.a. Spectrum Wireless). He also held the position of Vice President of Worldwide Client Support & Corporate Quality (WCSCQ) at Network Equipment Technologies (NET) where he built these organizations from the ground up. Under his leadership, WCSCQ became recognized as a World Class organization by Industry Week Magazine and in Chapter 7 of "Total Customer Service: The Ultimate Weapon by William H. Davidow and Bro Uttal. He is a graduate of the DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago and attended the Berkeley Executive Program at the Walter A. Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.

Andrew Richardson brings over seventeen years of enterprise solutions sales experience to his role in leading EMEA sales for Mirapoint. Andrew has a proven record in building mutually beneficial relationships with the channel, system Integrators and enterprise resellers. At Postini, he created the channel network, and built the business from $0 to over $1M per quarter. From managing the channel at such companies as ISEC Security, Alladin Knowledge Systems, and Tec Net Datacomm, Andrew has developed a deep understanding of the messaging and security markets.

James Wei has been a venture capitalist for the past twelve years. He offers deep expertise in the communications and semiconductor industries and a unique insight and expertise in helping startup companies do business worldwide. James currently serves on the Board of Directors for Movaz Networks, Cogent Communications, 3PAR, Commverge Solutions, Tensilica, Force10 Networks, ONStor, XHP, and Stretch. He also works actively with Mirapoint, Catena Networks, and Sipix Imaging. He is also a founder and an investment committee member of Meritech Capital, a late stage information technology fund with $1.8 billion under management. Before founding Worldview, James was a Fund Manager at JAFCO, where he sponsored investments and developed Asian business development strategies for U.S. technology companies. He was a board member or observer for CommQuest Technologies, MMC Networks, NeoMagic, NVIDIA, and OSI. He also co-sponsored investments in ACC, Advanced Fibre Communications, Corvis, Tellium, Cosine, Oplink, Cyras, Tivoli Systems, Silicon Spice, Ciena, and Synernetics. Prior to JAFCO, James held engineering positions at Sony and IBM. James holds a BS degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.

Gerald Held, Ph.D., has served as a Director of the Company since his appointment in April 2005. Since 1999, Dr. Held has been Chief Executive Officer of Held Consulting Group, LLC where he is a strategic consultant to chief executive officers and senior executives of technology firms ranging from startups to large, publicly-traded organizations. From 2000 to 2001, Dr. Held was the acting Chief Executive Officer of Cantiga Systems. In 1998, Dr. Held was Chief Executive Officer-In-Residence at the venture capital firm of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. From 1993 to 1997, Dr. Held was Senior Vice President of Oracle s server product division, where he led Oracle s database business as well as the development of pioneering interactive multimedia technology that included some of the earliest e-commerce application trials. Prior to Oracle, Dr. Held spent eighteen years at Tandem Computers, Inc. Dr. Held is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Software Development Technologies, Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of The Tech Museum of Innovation and a member of the Board of Trustees of Montalvo Arts Center. Dr. Held received a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University and his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, in computer science, where he led the initial development of the INGRES relational database management system. Dr. Held also completed a Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education Program.

Prior to W Capital, John was Director of Corporate Development at Zeborg, a software company spun off from The Mitchell Madison Group, and previously was Director of Investments at ISL Management, a venture capital firm funded by JPMorganChase. John also worked as a venture capital professional for Millennium Technology Ventures. For three years, John was an investment banker with JPMorganChase and Robertson Stephens, where he was involved in leveraged finance and merger and acquisition transactions across sectors including technology, financial and healthcare services and industrials. John holds an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from The University of Chicago.

Mr. Sawyer is currently a Managing Director for Saints. Before founding Saints in 2000, he was formerly the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions of Prudential Volpe Technology Group, a division of Prudential Securities. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Sawyer was the Head of Strategic Advisory Services and Mergers and Acquisitions at Volpe Brown Whelan & Co., a privately held investment bank focused on emerging growth companies in technology and healthcare and later acquired by Prudential Securities in December of 1999. Mr. Sawyer serves on the Board of Directors, or is a Board Observer at Cleargauge, Continuous Computing, HK Systems, Travel Intelligence, Laureate Pharmaceuticals, Acsis and Alliance. Prior investments have included Sidestep, Tellme, Military.com, Vertical Networks, Scene 7, Cyber Trust, eVoice and Magnet Communications. Mr. Sawyer received his Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Science with honors in Industrial Engineering at Stanford University. Mr. Sawyer was elected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi honor societies. Mr. Sawyer also studied at the University of Tours in France and the Copenhagen School of Business.
