Mr. Wellborn was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary of Dal-Tile International Inc. ("Dal-Tile") (now one of the Company's principal operating subsidiaries) from August 1997 through March 20, 2002 when he was named a director of the Company and the President of Dal-Tile, at the time the merger of Dal-Tile with a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company (the "Dal-tile Merger") was completed. From June 1993 to August 1997, Mr. Wellborn was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lenox, Inc.

Mr. Bruckmann has been a director of Mohawk since October 1992. He has been a Managing Director of Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co., Inc., a venture capital firm, since January 1995. From March 1994 to January 1995, Mr. Bruckmann served as Managing Director of Citicorp Venture Capital, Ltd. and as an executive officer of 399 Venture Partners, Inc.

Betty is the Human Resources Manager for Mohawk Industries. She is a chair of the Drugs Don't Work Committee and also serves on the Leadership Development Committee. Betty is active with the Boys and Girls Club and Family Resources Center. She enjoys cooking and gardening flowers.

Mr. Waskul is serving his first term as Whitfield County Commissioner for District 3, elected in 2006. He was born in Fort Frances, Ontario and has lived in Whitfield County since 2004. He received a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He and his wife Patty have two beautiful daughters. In addition to serving as Commissioner, Mr. Waskul is employed by Mohawk Industries, where he serves as Vice President of Environmental Services. He also currently serves as a member of the Leadership Dalton-Whitfield Alumni Committee, Georgia Industries Environmental Coalition, the Carpet and Rug Institute, the Georgia Textile Manufacturers Association environmental committee and on the board of directors of the United Way of Northwest Georgia. In addition, Mr. Waskul and his family attend Varnell United Methodist Church and are very active with the youth programs. Professional affiliations include being a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and a member of the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG).

Tracey Black has worked with Mohawk Industries for 10 years. In 1996, her career with Mohawk began in Residential Accounting. In 2001, she moved to the area of Customer Service and became Training/Recruitment Coordinator. She joined Mohawk University in August of 2004 as an Events Coordinator where she coordinates for all local training classes in Dalton, customized trainings throughout the US, and all Color Center Elite trainings.

Mr. McCurdy has been a director of Mohawk since its initial public offering in April 1992. Mr. McCurdy was President and Chief Executive Officer of Moog Automotive, Inc., from November 1985 until April 1994. Moog Automotive was acquired by Cooper Industries, Inc., in October 1992, and Mr. McCurdy became Executive Vice President, Operations of Cooper Industries in April 1994. Mr. McCurdy held that position until March 1997, when he became President and Chief Executive Officer of Echlin Inc., a manufacturer of motor vehicle parts.

Mr. Pokelwaldt retired as the chairman and CEO of YORK International Corporation in November 1999. He was chairman and CEO of YORK since January 1993 and was previously president and chief operating officer of the company since 1991. He joined York as President of Applied Systems Worldwide, a YORK Division, in 1988. Prior to joining YORK, Pokelwaldt was chairman and CEO of Frick Co., which was acquired by York in May 1987. He has also served as president and CEO of R.G. Sloan, a Susquehanna Company, and as division vice president for Spalding Fibre Company of Tonawanda, New York. Mr. Pokelwaldt presently serves on the Board of Directors of Mohawk Industries, Inc. Pokelwaldt earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and attended engineering and business graduate classes at the University of Buffalo.
