Tom Copeland is chief corporate finance officer and head of Monitor Corporate Finance. He has been a consultant to over 200 companies in 34 countries around the world, and is a leading authority on valuation. He is co-author, with J. Fred Weston, of Financial Theory and Corporate Policy and Managerial Finance. With Tim Koller and Jack Murrin, he has co-authored Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies. Copeland received his B.A. in economics from Johns Hopkins University and MBA in finance from the Wharton School, where he graduated second in his class. Copeland's Ph.D. in applied economics was granted by the University of Pennsylvania.

William Miracky is a partner at the Monitor Group based in the Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since joining the firm in 1993, Bill has managed client relationships and projects in both Monitor's core strategy consulting practice and its M&A advisory group. Aboud Yaqub joined Monitor Group in 1998 and became a member of Marketspace at its inception in 1999. Since then, he has worked with clients to develop digital and multi-channel strategies in the healthcare, financial services, information services, consumer products and retail sectors. Aboud helped pioneer the development of Marketspace's Channel PathwaysTM methodology for orchestrating superior multi-interface strategies. He has led project teams to help clients: select, prioritize and deploy new marketing and sales channels, allocate budget across channels, create superior customer experiences, and right-channel customer interactions. Aboud's most recent experiences have been focused in financial services and healthcare. He led a team to assist a large financial services client redesign its interface strategy to accelerate new customer acquisition and lower acquisition and service costs by migrating more customer interactions to self-service channels. Aboud also recently helped design and implement the digital marketing strategy used in the most successful medical device launch in history. Prior to joining Monitor, Aboud worked at the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, D.C., and for Deutsche Bank in Germany. Aboud graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University in 1998 with a B.A. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance.
Adrian currently works as a management consultant with Monitor Group in Toronto. During his three years with the firm, he has worked for Fortune 500 companies in numerous industries, and currently manages undergraduate recruiting for the Canadian practice. He previously completed an investment banking internship with Goldman Sachs in New York. He holds a B.Com. (First Class Honours) from Queen's University, where he was actively involved in student government. He has served volunteer stints in such places as Iqualuit, Nunavut and Provence, France. His passions are music (A.R.C.T. Piano), exotic food, NFL football and travelling.

Barbara Kibbe is a senior consultant with the Monitor Institute. She has 25 years of experience in social sector issues and organizations holding many and diverse roles. She has been an executive director, consultant, grant maker and foundation executive. From 2003 through 2005, she served as Vice President for Program and Effectiveness of the Skoll Foundation where she was responsible for designing and implementing grant making programs as well as a system for measuring results of the Foundation's overall work. From 1996 to 2003 she was on the staff of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, where she ultimately served as Director of the Organizational Effectiveness and Philanthropy Program, directing a total of $100 million in grants over six years. Prior to her work inside foundations, Barbara was an active consultant to nonprofits and foundations. She co-founded Harder+Kibbe Research and Consulting in 1987. Her consulting clients have included community, family and corporate foundations, as well as a wide range of health, human service and cultural organizations. Barbara is the coauthor of two books: Succeeding with Consultants and Grantmaking Basics. She is a founder of Grantmakers for Effective Organizations which represents more than 700 funders and is dedicated to building knowledge, promoting learning and encouraging dialogue on nonprofit and grantmaker effectiveness. Barbara was twice selected by The Nonprofit Times for its annual list of the 50 most powerful and influential people in the nonprofit sector.

Kenneth Robinson graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the Virginia Military Institute and received his master's degree in finance from Georgia State University. A candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program, Ken is a former instructor for Virginia Commonwealth University's CFPTM certificate course. Michael Abraham has been a software architect and consultant with Monitor Software since 1998. Nishant Lalwani is a senior consultant at Monitor Group and is based in Mumbai, India. He is a part of Monitor Inclusive Markets. Currently Nishant is working on a multi-sponsor, market-based solutions study to identify and scale up the most promising commercially viable approaches in India. He is leading several pieces of work in healthcare, energy and finance; including a viability assessment of village water filtration plants and a project that seeks to expand the scope of microfinance channels for distribution of non-credit products. Before Monitor, Nishant worked with the United Nations Development Programme in Zambia, where he helped develop new financing products for microfinance institutions across the country. He also spent several years in London and New York with Marakon Associates, a boutique strategy consulting firm. During this time he worked on a wide range of projects with some of the world's largest companies, including a high-level strategy for a Swiss pharmaceutical firm and a new market growth plan for a British confectionary maker. Nishant has also worked part-time with NGOs in Africa (Link Community Development) and India (Dalit Foundation) and he continues to be involved with similar causes on an ongoing, pro-bono basis. He has a Master's in Aeronautical Engineering and a Bachelor's in General Engineering from Cambridge University, UK. He has also published academic papers in conjunction with the Aeronautics and Astronautics Group of M.I.T., Boston. Nishant was born and raised in the UK but has recently moved to India.

Most recently, Tanya was the VP of Marketing for Cetacean Networks, a next generation networking technology start-up. She was responsible for marketing, strategy and product management. Prior to her years at Cetacean Networks, Tanya spent 14 years as a Vice President with Mercer Management Consulting most recently coordinating the NA Communications, Information and Entertainment (CIE) Industry practice and directed its marketing efforts. Jennings is a partner and director of the Monitor Group where he has managed domestic and international projects and relationships in a wide variety of industries, ranging from pharmaceuticals and financial services to consumer goods manufacturing and primary metals. Steve is a member of Monitor's Office of the Chairman and of the Consulting Group's Global Operating Executive with specific responsibilities for North American operations. Steve is an investor in New Profit, Inc. and has been actively involved in New Profit activities over the years. In addition to advising the Institute on its next phase, Steve is partnering closely with the Institute on the development and application of approaches to address the role that corporations play in creating social benefit.
Tom Craig is a partner and co-founder of Monitor Group. Tom currently works in the Office of the Chairman with responsibilities for leadership development, leadership training, communication, integrating Group activities and leading special group projects. With a love of teaching, Tom has more than 25 years experience leading and facilitating various senior executive groups on topics related to building winning strategies. Tom has directed over 300 projects during the last 20 years in more than 100 industries. He has served his community in various capacities including on the board of his church, as a long-time soccer coach, with the Scouts, and as a consultant and counselor to various not-for-profit organizations.
