More than 20 years' experience in managing service and support operations provides the foundation for Alan Nitchman's expertise in fostering and maintaining strong customer loyalty. He most recently spent the past seven years as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Elliott Aviation in Moline, Ill. Nitchman served as a naval aviator in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of captain. This veteran aviation enthusiast is a commercial and instrument-rated pilot with airplane single-engine land (ASEL) and helicopter ratings. A graduate of Slippery Rock (Penn.) University, Nitchman also earned an executive MBA from the University of Colorado in Denver. Today at Mooney, all delivery support, product, parts and service support areas report to Nitchman. The goal: move Mooney into the industry's number one position for customer support. And Nitchman has the expertise and leadership skills to do it.

Floyd Washburn joined Mooney Airplane Company as Vice President of Programs and New Business in March of 2007. He is a 1969 graduate of what was then known as Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Industrial Engineering. He received a dual master's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1979 one in mathematics with an emphasis in statistics and another in Management and Administrative Science with an emphasis in finance. After beginning his career as a planning and control manager at Texas Instruments in 1972, Mr. Washburn moved into the aerospace industry as a product line manager for Tracor Aerospace in 1983. In 1988 he joined Gulfstream Aerospace as Manager of Program Management Services and subsequently progressed into program management roles for Cargo Door Modifications, Medevac Aircraft development, and Maritime Search and Rescue programs. He was instrumental in the development, direction and negotiation of numerous US government, domestic and foreign contracts while at Gulfstream. A licensed, instrument-rated pilot, he is also a Mooney owner.
