Motion Computing Inc.

Scott Eckert is one of the co-founders of the company and its CEO from inception through the end of 2008. Mr. Eckert applied his executive leadership, high-tech business experience and entrepreneurial spirit to help transform the company from a start-up in 2001 to a successful, international provider of mobile computing solutions. Motion expanded its product line, deepened its focus on the Healthcare and Field Automation vertical markets, and grew rapidly to #1 in the world in slate Tablet PCs. The company also expanded in Europe and Asia creating a presence in more than 25 countries across the globe. Mr. Eckert remains on the Motion's board of directors and is actively involved with the company's customers, partners, and investors. Prior to leading Motion Computing, Eckert was an executive at Dell Inc. and widely known as the chief architect and general manager of that company's worldwide Internet strategy. Under his management, Dell's electronic commerce revenue grew from zero to about $20 million per day, making it the largest computer vendor on the Internet and one of the most celebrated e-commerce success stories. Mr. Eckert was also general manager for Dell's Home and Small Business Division in Brazil and was responsible for implementing a turnaround in one of Dell's strategic target markets. Prior to his time in Brazil, he was managing director for Dell's Home and Small Business Division in the UK and Ireland, one of Dell's largest international business units.

Nigel Owens is vice president of sales for the US and EMEA, and also general manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with full P & L responsibility including service, support and marketing. Owens joins Motion from Fujitsu Siemens where he most recently ran sales in EMEA, focusing on Fujitsu's tablet business in that region. Prior to that, he ran Fujitsu Personal Systems business in Northern Europe and sales in EMEA. Before joining Fujitsu, Owens was responsible for sales at Husky Computers, a European manufacturer of rugged computers.

Glenn Armbruster is Motion Computing's senior vice president of Customer Experience and quality. He brings 25 years of experience in the high tech industry in operational, product development and general management roles. He retired from Dell Computer Corporation after nearly eight years in a variety of senior management positions including vice president of materials and quality, vice president of U.S. operations, vice president of European product lines of business, and vice president of European operations and European engineering. Prior to joining Dell, Armbruster had a long career at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) where he served as product manager for a variety of communications products, head of manufacturing for DEC's Network Products division, and vice president/general manager of DEC's $4.0B Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)/Automotive and Discreet Manufacturing Business Unit. Armbruster graduated from Colby College, received his master's from MIT and attended the Harvard Business School Executive Development Program.

Jerome Kearns is Motion Computing's Senior Vice President of Operations. He brings 18 years of operations, product development and procurement experience in the high tech industry. Kearns retired from Dell Computer Corporation after eight years in a variety of senior management positions including director of worldwide operations and director of worldwide test and technology. Prior to joining Dell, Kearns spent several years in the aerospace industry developing new products for military and commercial applications. Kearns is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, with a bachelor's in business administration in finance.

As the Senior Vice President of Product Development at Motion Computing, Michael Johnson is responsible for Motion's worldwide product development, including design quality and team management, hardware and software integration, and delivery to manufacturing. Johnson previously spent seventeen years in product development at Apple Computer. Over that time, he led teams in the creation of both mobile and desktop products, managed key supplier relationships and served on the task force of several key Apple initiatives. In his most recent role at Apple, Johnson was the director of consumer desktop products, which focused on the design and development of the iMac and Mac Mini line of products. Johnson also was instrumental in leading the project to migrate the Mac platform from PowerPC processors to Intel processors. Earlier in his career, Johnson was instrumental in the design of Atari's line of personal computers. Johnson received his bachelor's in electronic engineering from California Polytechnic State University.

As Senior Vice President of Sales for Motion Computing, Ralph Spagnola brings extensive sales and marketing experience to the company. Spagnola previously was the corporate accounts vice president and general manager for Dell Computer Corporation. While at Dell, Spagnola also served as vice president of sales, large corporate accounts; eastern area vice president; regional sales manager; and was one of the company's initial national account executives. He built their large corporate account sales team, where he was directly responsible for 350 employees producing annual revenues of approximately $2 billion. Prior to joining Dell, Spagnola held various sales and marketing positions with Wang Laboratories and NCR. Spagnola earned a master's of business administration in finance from Fordham University and a bachelor's in business administration from Seton Hall University.

Valerie Walden is the senior vice president of marketing at Motion Computing. Walden previously was the chief operating officer and sat on the board of directors at Netpliance. Netpliance was first to enter the market as an Internet access device and provider. As COO, she was responsible for product management, pricing, information technology, network operations, quality and process management and customer service. Key accomplishments included reducing cost of service by 40% in the first three months, and improving product and service reliability. Netpliance subsequently became Tipping Point Technologies. Prior to Netpliance, Walden consulted for America Connect, a start-up wireless DSL residential company. Deliverables included writing marketing plan, market analysis, primary research as well as financial plan verification and RFP's for data warehousing and call centers. Walden was senior vice president and directed the marketing and brand positioning from IXC Communications to Broadwing. At IXC, she led company-wide marketing activities, including branding, advertising and marketing communications. She also led all customer driven operations including call centers, order management, provisioning and billing to achieve service excellence and quality process management. Walden previously was vice president of sales and marketing for AT&T Wireless Services Southwest Region, eight states representing 30 percent of AT&T Wireless Services national revenue. Before that, she served as vice present of marketing for AT&T Wireless North Texas; director of marketing and sales for Houston Cellular, a former joint venture of McCaw Cellular and Bell South.

Joel French serves as vice president of Motion Computing, Inc. and general manager of its Healthcare Business Group, bringing more than 20 years experience in clinical informatics, financial management, healthcare business operations and enterprise sales management. In this capacity he is responsible for Motion's healthcare strategy, Healthcare Business Group P&L, relationships with its largest health industry clients and partners as well as leading its team of clinicians, researchers, workflow experts and project managers. Prior to joining Motion, Mr. French was founder and managing director of Nephalios Group, LLC, a management consultancy serving executives of various technology, service and healthcare companies. He was previously corporate vice president of strategic development of Superior Consultant Holdings Corporation, a leading publicly traded management consulting and IT outsourcing firm serving health enterprises internationally. Mr. French was a key member of the executive team responsible for generating Superior's strong organic and non-organic growth as well as its public equity capitalization, prior to its sale to Affiliated Computer Services. He was also founder, president & CEO of ComTrust, LLC, a wholly owned Superior subsidiary providing managed authentication and policy services to many of the largest commercial health enterprises in the United States as well as the Military Health Services. Before that French served in a number of executive capacities with Sentient Systems, Inc., a rapidly growing custom software development and systems integration firm, prior to its acquisition by Daou Systems, Inc. Mr. French has advised hundreds of hospitals, health plans, pharmaceutical, physician clinics, private equity funds and technology firms on matters of business strategy, operational and financial performance improvements as well as appropriate technology integration. He has led or participating in consummating sales and financial transactions valued at approximately $9 billion, including public and private equity financings, the acquisition and operational integration of thirteen companies and the sale of five companies either as principal, owner or advisor. He has been an active contributor to the growing body of health industry knowledge as a widely published author and conference faculty, speaking dozens of times annually at healthcare trade conferences, management retreats, client board meeting and other events. Mr. French holds an appointment as adjunct professor of the Masters in Health Administration program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has served as chairman of the Motion Computing Health & Life Sciences Advisory Board since its inception in 2003. Mr. French is an affiliate of The American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of ACHE's CEO Circle Forum. He received a BA in Economics from Pacific Lutheran University.

As a founder and vice president of advanced product development at Motion Computing, John Doherty brings 23 years of consumer and commercial product development and managerial experience to Motion Computing. He retired from Dell Computer Corporation after more than seven years managing the development of notebook computer and peripheral products. Prior to joining Dell, Doherty held various engineering and management positions during his 15 years of work at Apple Computer Corporation. Doherty graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a degree in physics.

As VP of Operations and Logistics at Motion Computing, Marsha Osborn is responsible for Motion's worldwide operations, fulfillment, distribution, and logistics, including ODM Management, NPI, Carrier relationships, Manufacturing Execution, Environmental Compliance and delivery to customers worldwide. Marsha is a proficient and dynamic senior executive with over 25 years experience specializing in large scale Global Operations and organization Management, in a wide-range of markets including applications in communications, networking, computer, industrial, instrumentation, medical, transportation, military and aerospace. She also has spent many years of her career in international management and engineering with a focus in operations management, customer & partner relationships as well as global process re-engineering. Prior to joining Motion, Marsha managed operations, manufacturing, business development, and manufacturing engineering for leading technology companies including Tyco Electronics, Raytheon, and Texas Instruments. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas and Master Six Sigma Black belt from the University of Tennessee and Motorola University. Marsha lives in Austin with her husband, Andy. They have 4 children.

As Vice President of Marketing for Motion Computing, Mike Stinson brings over 15 years of portable computer marketing experience to the company. Prior to joining Motion, Stinson was the founder of Sabio Digital, a company focused on sourcing notebooks from Asian manufacturers into the white-box channel in the US. Prior to founding Sabio Digital, Stinson served as the VP/GM of Mobile Products for Gateway. In this position he was responsible for the P&L of products with annual sales of approximately $700M. Stinson was responsible for all aspects of the business and his accomplishments included consistently growing faster than the overall market, innovative partnerships with ODMs to direct ship from Asia to US consumers, reengineering the product line P&L and reducing support costs by 50%. Prior to Gateway, Stinson was the VP of Product Marketing for Toshiba America, responsible for all portables, desktops, and accessories. Stinson previously held various product marketing roles at Dell Computer Corporation. Stinson earned a master's of business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor's in Finance from the University of Colorado.

Partner with New Enterprise Associates (NEA), a leading global venture firm. Paul serves on the board of eight NEA portfolio companies, including Actions Semiconductor, Boingo Wireless and Luminary Micro, and was previously with Medtronic and McKinsey & Co.

In 2000 Rick Devine recruited Steve Harrick as vice president of acquisitions for Internet Capital Group (ICG). Devine was managing director of executive recruiting for the ICG at the time. At ICG Harrick was responsible for identifying and executing strategic acquisitions, generating partner company liquidity, and providing operational advice to partner company management teams. He joined ICG from Highland Capital Partners in Boston, where as a principal he focused on enterprise software and Internet technologies. Before entering the venture capital industry, Harrick worked in new-business development for Netscape Communications and in mergers and acquisitions for Morgan Stanley. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Yale University and a master's in business administration from Harvard Business School. He is currently managing director and general partner of Institutional Venture Partners, where he focuses on expansion-stage venture capital investments within the software, Internet and communications sectors.

Mr. Enloe has more than 35 years in executive management positions. Prior to joining OptiSoft, he served as Vice Chairman and member of the Office of Chief Executive for Compaq Computer Corporation, President and CEO of Liberte Investors and President of Lomas Financial Corporation. Mr. Enloe currently serves as a corporate board member of: Leggett & Platt, Inc., Silicon Laboratories and ePolicy.com. His prior board member service included: Compaq Computer Corporation, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Liberte Investors, Inc., La Quinta Motor Inns, Inc. and Capstead Mortgage Corporation. Mr. Enloe graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Jurist Doctorate from Southern Methodist University, and holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Polytechnic University.

As CEO, David has responsibility for Motion's day-to-day activities. Mr. Altounian has more than 20 years of management and staff experience in the computer and consulting professions. David served in executive positions at Dell for both the notebook computer and workstation product businesses where he was responsible for the Worldwide Product Marketing organizations. He spent two years in Europe as the General Manager, Workstation Line of Business for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Prior to joining Dell, Mr. Altounian managed marketing and business development teams for leading technology companies including Motorola, Compaq Computer Corporation and Ashton-Tate. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from California Coast University and his MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
