Rich Templeton is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Texas Instruments. He became chairman of the board in April 2008, and president and chief executive officer in May 2004. He has served on the company’s board of directors since July 2003. From April 2000 through April 2004, Templeton was chief operating officer of TI. He was executive vice president of the company and president of TI's Semiconductor business from June 1996 through April 2004. Templeton is credited with helping to define and execute TI’s strategy to focus on semiconductors for signal processing. Operationally, he guided TI during the worst downturn in semiconductor history, while maintaining the company’s strategic investments in R&D and advanced manufacturing. His leadership helped TI to emerge in stronger strategic, technological and product positions, and as a result the company has gained market share in its core technologies of analog and DSP for each of the last six years. Templeton joined the company in 1980 after earning a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering from Union College in New York. He spent his operational career in the company's Semiconductor business, beginning in sales and eventually becoming president of the entire business. He recently topped the list of Institutional Investor’s Best Semiconductor CEOs in America for 2007 and 2008. In addition to his TI duties, Templeton serves on the board of the Semiconductor Industry Association, the board of directors of Catalyst, and the board of trustees of Southern Methodist University. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable and the Dallas Chief Executive Roundtable.

Mr. March was named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Texas Instruments in October 2003. He joined Texas Instruments in 1984 as part of the company’s finance development program. During his TI career, he has held numerous assignments in finance, operations, marketing, and general business management across TI’s corporate and business operations, including a wide range of TI’s Semiconductor businesses as well as its former defense business. Mr. March has served as director of finance and controller for several of TI’s Semiconductor businesses and for TI’s analog European operations. He was named vice president and financial planning manager for TI’s global operations in 1997, and controller for the company in 2002. He earned a bachelor of science degree in 1983 in economics and business, and a master’s degree in 1984 in business administration with concentrations in finance and accounting, both from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. March serves as a member of the Conference Board's Council of Financial Executives and Financial Executives International. He is treasurer of the Texas Instruments Foundation.

Arthur (Art) George is a senior vice president of Texas Instruments and manager of the company's High-Performance Analog (HPA) business unit. He was named to this position in April 2006. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. George was manager of the High-Performance Linear (HPL) business unit, which is responsible for TI's catalog amplifier and interface integrated circuits. In this role, he held overall responsibility for the business unit's strategy and operations, including product definition and product development . Mr. George joined TI in 1984 as a test engineer working in TI's logic operation and over the years held a variety of operational positions, primarily in TI's analog and logic businesses. He was elected a vice president of TI in June 2003. Mr. George earned a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering in 1983 from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a master's degree in engineering management in 1990 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Dave Heacock is senior vice president and manager of the Texas Instruments (TI) High-Volume Analog and Logic (HVAL) business unit. Since March 2007, he has led worldwide strategy and operations for TI’s application-specific analog business for electronic products, such as printers, hard disk drives, cell phones and automobiles, as well as TI’s Standard Linear and Logic business unit. Prior to his current role, Heacock was vice president of TI’s Portable Power Management business unit. In this position, he held overall responsibility for the business unit’s strategy and operations, including product development and product definition. Heacock was previously manager of TI’s battery management product line and he is considered an industry expert in power management. Heacock began his career with TI in 1999 when the company acquired Unitrode Corporation, where he was the director of portable power products. He joined Unitrode in 1998 through its acquisition of Benchmarq Microelectronics, a successful start-up company focused on battery management, where he had served in various new product development and marketing roles since 1990. He believes that his position within TI is evidence of the company’s ability to fully integrate and profit from strategic acquisitions that have grown and strengthened TI as the leading analog supplier. Based on his 25 years in the industry, Heacock has structured TI’s HVAL business unit for agility to continue contributing to TI’s and customers’ success in a changing market. Heacock is one of the leading experts on batteries and battery technology and thoroughly understands the trends in the battery industry. He is a strong advocate of making products that we use today more energy efficient, whether in automobiles, line-powered systems or portable electronics. He believes that TI’s technology can help make better products by removing some of the burden of saving power from consumers and businesses. Heacock looks for ways to lower power requirements, enabling the use of analog technology to open the door to alternative energies and allowing end-products to operate more efficiently and with greater functionality. Heacock earned a bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary engineering and management from Clarkson University, New York, in 1983. He received his master of business administration in 1988 from the University of North Texas where he currently is a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, and Law.

Gilles Delfassy is responsible for Texas Instruments Incorporated's semiconductor activities in the wireless terminals market, including strategy, new products and programs, development and key customer relationships. He has led TI's wireless effort since 1994. Mr. Delfassy has been with TI since 1978. Before his current position in Dallas, Texas, he served as TI's European Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Department Manager from 1989 to 1994. Previously, he was a product line manager in TI's Microprocessor and Microcontroller Division of the Semiconductor Group. He also has experience in semiconductor systems sales. Mr. Delfassy graduated from the "Institut d'Administration des Entreprises de Paris" in 1978. In 1977 he received an Engineer Diploma in Electrical Engineering from "Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Ingenieurs de Toulouse".

Gregg Lowe is senior vice president of the Analog business unit for Texas Instruments, which includes High-Performance Analog, Power Management and High-Volume Analog and Logic. Since April 2006, he has led global strategy and operations for TI’s wide-ranging portfolio of standard and application-specific analog chips. These play an integral role in most electronic equipment as the connection between digital and real-world signals, such as voice, sound, pressure, temperature and electricity. Lowe and his teams drive innovative analog integrated circuits that can solve engineers’ design problems in virtually every electronic system today. This gives him the opportunity to work with customers across a full spectrum of markets to help improve performance, user experience and power use in a vast range of electronic devices. Under Lowe's leadership, TI has strengthened its position as the leading analog supplier worldwide, through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. These changes have better equipped TI to help customers solve their analog design challenges. Lowe joined TI’s field sales organization in 1984, with responsibility for growing the company’s business with automobile manufacturers. In 1989, he moved to Germany to lead the European automotive sales force, managing teams and customer relationships in France, Germany, Italy, England and Spain. In 1994, Lowe returned to the U.S. to manage TI’s Microcontroller organization. Later, he led the Application Specific Integrated Circuit organization, overseeing a worldwide team with design centers and customers on each continent. In 2001, he moved to analog to manage High-Speed Communications & Controls. Later that year, Lowe became manager of the High-Performance Analog business unit and became responsible for TI’s high-performance data converter, amplifier, power management and interface integrated circuits. Lowe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 1984 from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. He later received the university’s Career Achievement Award to recognize his accomplishments in the community and within the semiconductor industry. He graduated from the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University. A strong believer in education, Lowe participates in TI’s university recruiting. In addition, he serves as a member of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees.

Melendy Lovett is a senior vice president of Texas Instruments and president of the company’s worldwide Education Technology business, which focuses on market-leading educational technology to improve teaching and learning of math and science. Previously, Lovett was a vice president in the company’s human resources organization, where she was responsible for TI’s worldwide compensation and benefits programs. Lovett's background includes operational experience in software and professional services as well as extensive experience in information technology, accounting and human resources. Prior to joining TI, she was a senior manager with consulting firm Coopers & Lybrand. In that capacity, Lovett built a track record of bringing bottom-line value to her clients through strategic analysis and targeted implementations. She counseled business leaders in areas such as manufacturing, distribution, communications and publishing. In addition to her TI duties, Lovett has established and leads an initiative of TI women who are working to improve math and science education for girls in elementary through high school. Lovett holds a bachelor’s degree in management and management information systems from Texas A&M, and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas-Dallas. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Greg Delagi is TI senior vice president and general manager of the Wireless Terminals Business Unit, which develops semiconductors for cell phones. TI holds the number one position in wireless semiconductor market share. Prior to taking over the business in January 2007, Delagi, a 22-year TI veteran, was vice president and manager of the worldwide DSP Systems business unit. During his tenure with TI's DSP Systems, he led the development and commercialization of digital signal processors (DSPs), one of the company's core semiconductor technologies and a critical component in the company's wireless product line. Having joined TI's DSP operations in 1996, he is also credited with creating TI's catalog DSP business strategy and organization. TI increased its DSP market share in 2006 for the fifth year in a row to 61 percent of the total DSP market. Delagi presided over the successful launch of the industry's first 1-gigahertz DSP, the new DaVinci portfolio of hardware and software for video applications and TI's eXpressDSP development software and tools, the first open software environment for DSPs. He also introduced the $100,000 DSP Design Challenge to spur creativity in universities. More recently, Delagi was responsible for several of the company's systems business units such DSL, Cable, VoIP and Wireless LAN, creating system-on-chip solutions. Since the late 1990s, he also led TI's effort in semiconductors for wireless basestations, working with customers and operators as his team built the industry's top position in this market. Delagi started his career at TI in 1984 with the Materials & Controls business, based in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He later joined TI's Semiconductor Group working in sales and marketing in Austin, Texas, and Phoenix and then spent six years in Silicon Valley managing TI's sales operations in the U.S. western region. He is a graduate of Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts, where he earned a BSBA in 1984.

Bill Carney is Chairman of the WiFi Allliance and Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and Business Development for Texas Instruments' Wireless Networking Business Unit. Texas Instruments acquired Alantro in September 2000, where he had served as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. Previously, Mr. Carney was Senior Director of Worldwide Corporate Marketing at Synopsys, Inc., a leader in EDA tools.

As director of programs for Geneva, Darryl Thrasher brings the company extensive experience in product development, project management, configuration management, requirements planning, integrated product team development, order fulfillment and logistics. Prior to joining Geneva, Thrasher held a position as vice president of operations at Intrusion, Inc. and SpectraPoint Wireless, where he was responsible for project management, product development, configuration management, technical documentation, order fulfillment, supply chain management and logistics. Prior to his work at SpectraPoint, Thrasher was the deputy program manager for Raytheon's Affordable Multi-Missile Manufacturing program. Thrasher also held various management positions at Texas Instruments, including operations manager for the Guided Munitions Division, proposal manager for the Joint Stand-Off Weapon (JSOW) LRIP program, planning operations manager for the JSOW EMD program, division administrator for the Paveway Laser Guided Bomb program, and manufacturing engineer for the Paveway program. Thrasher earned a bachelor's degree in business, with majors in accounting and management, from Harding University.

As TI’s Application Specific Products (ASP) business manager, Mike Hames has overall global responsibility for much of the company’s digital businesses, and is responsible for the development, manufacturing and marketing of digital signal processors (DSP), microcontrollers, ASIC and SPARC products, along with the fast-growing end-equipment and emerging businesses such as broadband communications, Internet audio, and digital still cameras. Before his current assignment, Mr. Hames served for seven years as a TI vice president responsible for its DSP business worldwide. In this position, he was responsible for the business, product and technological strategy that resulted in significant growth of this business with TI and its acceptance in the overall market. Mr. Hames’ long involvement with DSP began in 1982, when he was part of the team that introduced the first device in the TMS320TM DSP family. This device was the critical first step in helping establish TI’s leadership position in DSP today. Over the years, he also served as DSP marketing manager and as the U.S. DSP product manager. Mr. Hames joined TI in 1980, after earnings his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Amarjit Gill is one of three cofounders of P.A. Semi and serves as its executive vice president, heading up sales and business development. Before joining P.A. Semi, Gill served as vice president of sales and business development at SiByte Inc. He has 17 years experience in the embedded-microprocessor industry, including work with National Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, and Digital Semiconductor, where he served as director of sales for global accounts. Gill holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State University.

Brent Everett was the founder and Managing Director of Profisys, LLC, a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor, prior to becoming the Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Talis Advisory Services, LLC. He holds a BS in Computing and Information Sciences from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Everett's background includes experience in strategic marketing, executive management and investor relations at Texas Instruments, Samsung Semiconductor, EDI, and his own semiconductor business consulting practice. Brent served on the Board of Directors for CSCI, a privately held manufacturer of air-cooled heat exchangers, where he helped structure management's purchase of the company. Mr. Everett is a member of the Financial Planning Association, where he was elected to the Board of Directors of the local chapter, the International Association of Financial Engineers, the Association of Pension Professionals and Actuaries Benefits Council, and Mensa. He has discussed the risk and expected return for small cap stock investments on CNNfn and his views regarding investment advisor disclosure have been quoted by several major publications. Mr. Everett also serves as a member of the Business and Professional Leadership Committee of the Plano Symphony Orchestra.

Crickett W. Lindgren joined the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas as Executive Director in January 2005. She brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management including serving as the former executive directors for the Uptown Public Improvement District, Arts District Friends and Arts District Foundation, as well as working with the Dallas Commission on International Affairs and the Dallas Theater Center. She currently volunteers with Junior League of Dallas, Junior Players and the Episcopal School of Dallas, as well as past service on the boards or advisory boards of the Tokyo American Club's Women Group, The Hillcrest Academy, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts, and Friends of the Public Library. A graduate of Duke University and a resident of Munger Place Historic District, she is married to John C. Lindgren of Texas Instruments, and they have two children, Drax and Noelle. She and her family are members of St. Michael's and All Angels Episcopal Church.

Darren has more than 15 years of leading-edge product design, market analysis, and business development experience in the technology sector. He has held senior positions in both engineering and market development for advanced wireless communications and software development organizations including Texas Instruments, Digital Switch Corporation, and Excel Communications. Prior to joining Metatomix, Darren was a founder and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Geobot, Inc., a software development company providing distributed integration technology that was acquired by Metatomix in 2002. Darren has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Mississippi.

David holds a bachelor's of science in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has been with Austin since 1965 and his project experience includes Texas Instruments DMOS 6, American Airlines Center and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Davy Lo has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer for Zetex Semiconductors' ASSP business group, with responsibility for the company's rapidly expanding range of audio, DBS, LED driver and LED power management products. Lo joins Zetex after 26 years with Texas Instruments in senior Marketing and Sales roles based in Asia. He was most recently Director responsible for Marketing and Sales at Texas' Hong Kong office.

Dean Meyer is president of TAC and is responsible for strategic planning and management for the performance and growth of the company in North and South America. Meyer joined TAC in 1993 as product division vice president and managed the Manufacturing, Engineering, Partner Sales, and Customer Service departments. Meyer's previous experience includes manufacturing and purchasing roles at Texas Instruments. Meyer earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.

Dennis Flanagan is a results oriented business and marketing executive with extensive experience in the technology industry. Dennis's background encompasses a unique combination of accomplishments that has in the past delivered annual double-digit revenue growth, increased market share, and sustainable profitability. Well recognized in the industry for developing integrated marketing strategies, Dennis has a reputation for building outstanding, highly motivated teams, and for driving strategic partnerships to increase business value. As a leader, he is known for being direct, disciplined, fair, and a strong motivator who earns the respect and support of the organization, its customers, and suppliers. His background includes a strong track record of performances as an executive in leadership positions at Texas Instruments, Oki Data America, Sengen,, and Memorex/Burroughs. As President and CEO of Sengen, a custom software development company, Dennis planned and executed a financial and organizational turnaround. Under his leadership the company was transitioned from a strategic focus on dot com customers to corporate clients. Sengen staff was downsized by greater than 60%, capital commitments with suppliers were renegotiated, and lease space was downsized by 80%. The organization produced a 4th quarter profit and generated $9.5 million in revenues.

With 13 years of experience, Jeff serves as Director of Horne Technology Group and has been instrumental in forming and developing the information technology consulting division. Jeff has extensive technology-based consulting experience and has held IT management positions with Fortune 500 companies, including Texas Instruments, IKON and MCI WorldCom. He concentrates his time in all major areas associated with technology consulting and system implementation project management and is based out of the Jackson office.

Margi has been providing marketing consulting services since 1992. Since that time she has been helping technology firms develop and implement marketing plans. Her over twenty years experience includes eight years with Texas Instruments in various marketing and sales positions.

Paul Holt, Vice President Customer Service and Quality, has over 20 years experience working for IP, IC and EDA companies. Prior to his appointment with ARC International he has held positions in engineering, engineering management, marketing, quality, services and program management for companies such as Texas Instruments, VLSI Technology, Compass Design Automation, Avant! and Ericsson Microelectronics. He has extensive knowledge of European work practices, having lived and worked in England, Germany, France and Sweden.

Rob founded RDB Consulting in 2001 to focus on developing product training and communications solutions for technology-driven companies. Several years as a journalist honed his reporting and writing skills and led to a successful career in training and communications for large high-tech and engineering companies. Prior to founding RDB Consulting, Rob was an Accenture Consultant in their Change Management practice for more than four years. He has also held positions with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), the US Department of Energy Super Collider Laboratory, and Texas Instruments.

Roger Hughes has an extensive financial and operational management background, beginning with an 18-year career at Texas Instruments. His background includes positions in government, electronics, geophysical services, and the semiconductor industry. He joined Object Reservoir in May 2002.

Sam Harrell is a 40-year veteran of the semiconductor industry. His vast experience comes from Texas Instruments, Computervision, and KLA-Tencor, where he held technical and senior management positions. He was also a founder and chief strategy officer of Sematech.

Tom has been an electrician since 1968, became licensed as a Journeyman Electrician in the City of Dallas, Texas in 1972. In 1976, he earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from TEXAS A&M University. As a Project Engineer for Texas Instruments, he headed a regional team, responsible for design and construction management of energy management systems in TI plants world wide. This experience and knowledge of Commercial Building Code, National Electrical Code and common building practices are advantageous in the installation of systems in commercial facilities.

Virginia (Ginny) Ford, General Manger, leads the Equipment Business Unit of Atomate. Ginny also serves as the Vice President of Engineering. Ginny has 3 decades of experience in technical management at NASA-Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Texas Instruments.

Wanda Gass is a TI Fellow and Manager of the Architecture Team in the DSP organization of the Semiconductor group. In this position she is responsible for providing definition of future generation DSP processors and the development of the DSP processor roadmap. Wanda joined Texas Instruments in 1980 and holds 3 patents for her pioneering work in DSP processors. During her career at TI she has been responsible for advanced development of speech recognition, speech coding, video compression, image processing for cellular phones and digital cameras.

Carrie S. Cox is executive vice president and president, Global Pharmaceuticals, for Schering-Plough Corporation. Cox joined Schering-Plough in May 2003. Her appointment consolidated Schering-Plough's prescription pharmaceutical business from several autonomous units into a unified Global Pharmaceutical Business that today includes global sales, marketing, advertising, product public relations, business operations, medical affairs and commercial development. Cox is responsible for leading the transformation of the Global Pharmaceutical Business into a profitable, high-performing organization. Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Cox was the executive vice president and president of the Global Prescription Business at Pharmacia Corporation, prior to its merger with Pfizer. A registered pharmacist, Cox has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She joined Pharmacia's predecessor company, Pharmacia & Upjohn, in 1997 as senior vice president and head of Global Business Management, and was a principal architect of that company's dramatic turnaround. She was appointed executive vice president in 1999. Previously, Cox served as vice president of Women's Health Care at Wyeth, where she worked for seven years. Prior to that assignment, she held a variety of positions in market research, sales and product management during a 10-year career with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis). Cox is a member of the Harvard School of Public Health's Health Policy and Management Executive Council. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Texas Instruments and as a member of that board's audit committee. Cox is also a member of the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Fortune magazine twice named Cox to its list of the "50 Most Powerful Women in Business," and the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association named her "Healthcare Businesswoman of the Year." Cox is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

Lawrence (Larry) Wagner is the Failure Analysis Technical Strategy Manager and a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments, Dallas, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Marquette University and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Purdue University. After two years in the High Temperature Chemistry Group at Argonne National Laboratory, he joined Texas Instruments as a failure analysis engineer in 1976. He managed the failure analysis lab for 15 years, starting in 1979. Dr. Wagner has published extensively, including the book, Failure Analysis of ICs: Tools and Techniques, published in 1999 by Kluwer Academic. He has delivered six tutorials on failure analysis, including tutorials at the International Reliability Physics Symposium, International Symposium on the Physical and Failure Analysis of Integrated Circuits, and the Materials Research Society. He is a member of the Product Engineering Council at Texas Instruments and the Sematech Product Analysis Forum and represents Texas Instruments on the Sematech Quality Council. He was the first president of the Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society (EDFAS) and the first editor of Electronic Device Failure Analysis News. He was also the 1995 general chair of the International Symposium for Testing and Failure Analysis (ISTFA). He chaired the Sematech Product Analysis Forum in 2000. Larry Wagner joined ASM in 1987 and is now a member of EDFAS as well as IEEE, ACS, Sigma Chi and ASMS.
