Beth joined Murphy & Company in 1984 and became Administrative Partner in 1991. Beth graduated from the Indiana University School of Business with a B.S. degree in Accounting. She obtained her CPA license in 1985 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Beth's responsibilities include preparing and reviewing business tax returns, financial statements and individual tax returns. She is also responsible for the quality control of our workpapers and financial statements.

Lou has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Butler University combined with a Finance concentrated MBA from Arizona State University. Lou has over 10 years experience in public accounting in addition to corporate experience with a Fortune 500 Company. Lou's responsibilities include planning, supervision and management of financial statements, as well as business and individual income tax consulting. Lou is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society and the Fishers Chamber of Commerce.

Ierma recently joined Murphy & Company as a Tax Manager. Ierma graduated from the University of Texas School of Business with a B.B.A majoring in Finance. Ierma later earned the Accounting Equivalency from the University of Arkansas. She obtained her CPA license in 1997 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Ierma's responsibilities include preparing and reviewing business tax returns, estate returns, and individual tax returns.

Array

Jodi graduated from Ball State University in May 2005 with a degree in Financial Planning. She is currently enrolled in an MBA program specializing in accounting at Indiana Wesleyan. Jodi joined Murphy and Company, P.C. in 2006 and will be handling billing, including both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. In addition, she will be helping other staff members as needed performing various tasks.

Marie joined Murphy & Company in 1996. Prior to joining the firm, Marie worked in public accounting for two years. She has been a member of the certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor program since 1999 and is a member of the Sleeter Group's Certified Consultant Network. Marie works primarily with small businesses that use QuickBooks and specializes in the contractor support area. She also prepares corporate tax returns and financial statements. Marie has worked in the accounting field for over twenty years. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business degree. Marie has been an active volunteer in her community and has served on the Board of Directors for both her school system and neighborhood.
