Rick has been with Murray Risk Management and Insurance for over 25 years. He began as an Account Executive in 1979. In 1986 he became Vice President and Senior Vice President in 1999. In 2002, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and became President and CEO in 2004. Rick attended Millersville University and earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Rick has been actively involved with the YMCA for over twenty years. He is a member and Past President of the Lancaster Family YMCA Board, and is actively involved with the Lancaster Family YMCA Foundation Board. He is a member and Past President of the Southern End Community Association (SECA) Board and is Vice President of the Southern Lancaster County Fair Association. He also serves as the Trustee for the Westfield Agents Association, and as Chairman for Harleysville Agents Council Committee. He is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner Committee as well as on the Board for the Lancaster County Conservancy. Rick has received various awards including: Lancaster Family YMCA Volunteer of the Year in 1989, Washington Lodge F&AM Outstanding Service Award in 1999.

Pete has been working in the insurance industry for 26 years. He began his career with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 1986 as a Commercial Marketing Manager. He became Vice President in 1988 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1999. Pete earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg State University. He attended Liberty Mutual Commercial Underwriting and Loss Control School and is currently pursuing the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Pete is a member of the Insurance Agents and Brokers of Pennsylvania and received the Lancaster Leadership Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2000. In 2005 he served as Co-Chairman of the Annual Giving Campaign on behalf of the Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired. He is currently a member and Past President of the American Business Club, and is Chairman of their annual benefit dance. Pete is also a member of several boards including the Hands-On House, Susquehanna Association for the Blind & Vision Impaired (SABVI), and The Lancaster Chapter of American Business Club. Pete has also served on a number of insurance company advisory councils and was active as an insurance program instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College.

Bruce began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 2005 as Vice President, Employee Benefits Division Manager. Bruce brings a wealth of experience to Murray having worked in the Employee Benefits industry for over twenty years. He served as a Senior Level Consultant for several of Pennsylvania's leading health insurance and employee benefits providers. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Employee Benefits of Sovereign Benefits Consulting, a division of Sovereign Bank. Previous to Sovereign Benefits Consulting, Cannon was Director of Client Services/Senior Consultant for American Insurance Administrators. Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Psychology from La Salle University. He is currently pursuing the Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designations through American College. Bruce was a graduate of Executive Leadership Lancaster in 2006. Bruce is currently involved with the Lancaster County Business Group on Health. He has served as a Board Member for St. Leo the Great Elementary School and for the Dutch Council Boy Scouts of America.

Matt began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 2006 as Vice President, Benefits and Communication Services. Matt brings a broad range of skills and experience to Murray having worked in the employee benefits industry for over eighteen years. Most recently he served as National Director Benefit Communications for Willis North America where he was responsible for leading the national benefits communication team, which provided employee communication services to Willis clients nationwide. Prior to his work with Willis, he served as Vice President Communications for CGI Consulting Group, Inc., in Malvern, Pennsylvania. While there, he developed and lead a full-service employee benefits communications team which provided year-round communication services to CGI's client-employers. Matt is a noted speaker in the area of communications, group insurance, Human Resources, strategic planning and employee benefits, as well as select topics. He has also spoken to numerous employee and Human Resource groups around the country during his extensive communications career. Matt earned a Bachelor of Philosophy from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Philadelphia.

Norm began his career with Murray Risk Management and Insurance in 2001 as a Medical Services Manager. In 2003 he was promoted to Account Executive, with a primary responsibility for the program growth of the medical professional liability programs administered by and offered exclusively through Murray. Norm was promoted to Manager, Physician Services in 2006 and Assistant Vice President in 2007. In 2008, Norm was promoted to Vice President and heads Murray's Healthcare Services Group. Prior to his work in the insurance industry, Norm was a staff paramedic at Lancaster General Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital. He served as Director of the Mobile Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital. He completed his career at St. Joseph as a sales and marketing representative for the hospital's occupational medicine department. Norm also served as Executive Director of Strasburg Community Ambulance Association. Norm has lectured extensively throughout his career on topics of interest in Emergency Medical Services, Workers' Compensation and Professional Liability Insurance, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, and Childhood Injury Prevention. Norm is the Past President of the Sertoma Club of Lancaster and previously served on the board of directors of Lancaster Emergency Medical Services Association.

Sheri began with Murray Risk Management and Insurance as an Account Executive for the Commercial Sales and Services Division in 1994. She joined the Program Services Division in 2003 and was promoted to position of Vice President of this division. Prior to Murray, she worked in commercial sales in various capacities within the insurance industry. Sheri graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation and the Certified

Murray was founded in 1930 by Paul G. Murray, a leading Lancaster County entrepreneur. "Pop," or "Mr. Duke Street," as Mr. Murray was known by most of his friends and business associates, set up his business during the depths of the Great Depression. One of the first major projects undertaken by the fledging company was writing the bond for the 1930 construction of the Veterans' Memorial Bridge over the Susquehanna River, the longest concrete arch bridge in the world, and the largest public works project of its time. Mr. Murray served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for 16 years, from 1945 to 1961. During this time, the business, now Paul G. Murray and Son, grew under the leadership of his son, P. Walter Murray, who joined the agency in 1946. In 1970, the agency's name was changed to Paul G. Murray Insurance Associates. Through various acquisitions, the agency acquired the former Widmyer-Prangley Agency, which was founded in 1861, the first year of the Civil War. In 1980, a branch office was added in Quarryville, Pennsylvania.

Tom joined Murray Risk Management and Insurance as an Account Executive in 2004. Prior to joining Murray, Tom worked in the manufacturing sector at Lancaster Malleable Castings Company where he served as Vice President, Human Resources & Safety and managed their self-insured workers compensation program. He continues to serve on their Board of Directors. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Environmental Health from Millersville University.
