Myers Industries Inc.

John C. Orr, 58, was named Myers Industries’ President and Chief Executive Officer on May 1, 2005. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Operating Officer, a position to which he was appointed in August 2003, in charge of the Company’s worldwide manufacturing and distribution operations. Mr. Orr joined Myers Industries in August 2000 as General Manager of the Company’s Buckhorn subsidiary, a leading manufacturer of reusable plastic material handling containers and pallets. Prior to joining Myers Industries, Mr. Orr had a distinguished 28-year career with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, serving as Vice President of Manufacturing for North American Tire Division since 1996. Mr. Orr started with Goodyear in 1972, and his early career was in production and plant management at facilities throughout the United States, in Canada, and in Australia. Between 1991 to 1996, he was Director of Manufacturing for Goodyear’s Latin American Division. Mr. Orr is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Organizational Communication. Most recently, he was named to the Board at Akron General Medical Center.

Vincent C. Byrd, 52, joined Myers Industries' Board of Directors on April 25, 2006. Byrd is currently Senior Vice President Consumer Market, with the J. M. Smucker Company in Orrville, Ohio. Prior to his position as Senior Vice President, Byrd served as Vice President and General Manager of Smucker's Consumer Market. He was also Vice President of the company's International business and Vice President and Managing Director of its Henry Jones Foods Australian operations. Byrd joined Smucker's in 1977, working in various accounting and planning positions. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

Greg Stodnick, 62, joined Myers Industries in 1980 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. His professional career includes two years with Ernst & Ernst. He then moved to Harris Corp. of Cleveland from 1966-1967. In

Robert A. Stefanko, 66, serves as a Director of OMNOVA Solutions, Inc. (NYSE) an innovator of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals and decorative and functional surfaces; and a member of the Audit Committee of OMNOVA Solutions. He is also a Director of The Davey Tree Expert Company, Kent, Ohio; a member of the Audit Committee of The Davey Tree Expert Company; former Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration of A. Schulman, Inc., Akron, Ohio, an international supplier of plastic compounds and resins. He has served as a Director of Myers Industries since 2007.

Keith A. Brown is President of Chimera Corporation, a private management holding company, since 1987. Mr. Brown is a director of Myers Industries, Inc. and a Trustee of Nova Southeastern University and the Burton D. Morgan Foundation. Mr. Brown has been a director of the Corporation since May 1993 and is a member of the Board's Audit and Corporate Affairs Committees.

Michael W. Kane, 53, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Kane & Company, Inc., Los Angeles, California, an investment banking firm; formerly a director of Learning Tree International, Inc. (Nasdaq), Los Angeles, California, a provider of education and training to information technology professionals. Served as director since 2000.

Richard P. Johnston, 78, is Chairman of the Board of Royal Associates, Inc., Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a holding company which owns Royal Precision Inc. (formerly Nasdaq), a manufacturer of golf club shafts and grips; formerly served as Founder and Director of AGCO, Inc. (NYSE), Duluth, Georgia, a manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment. Served as director since 1992.
