Nabi Biopharmaceuticals

Dr. Kessler is Senior Vice President, Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs as of March 2007. Joining Nabi Biopharmaceuticals in 2005, he most recently served as Vice President, Clinical Research. He spent over 6 years at GenVec, Inc., a gene therapy company, as Head of Clinical Research where he led clinical efforts in therapeutic angiogenesis, oncology and anti-angiogenesis (macular degeneration). From 1989 to 1998, he was an Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he conducted gene and cell therapy research; and he was an attending cardiologist on the Heart Failure and Transplant Service. He earned a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh, a M.Sc. from the University of London, and an M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He trained in internal medicine and was a research fellow in heart failure at The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, and was a research and clinical fellow in Cardiology at the Johns Hopkins University, where he was a National Institutes of Heath Physician Scientist Award recipient. He is the author of 45 peer reviewed research articles and has received 5 issued U.S. patents.

Dr. Fahim is President and Chief Executive Officerof Nabi Biopharmaceuticals. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. In May 2003, he was named Senior Vice President, Research, Technical and Manufacturing Operations of Nabi Biopharmaceuticals and was Vice President of Vaccine Manufacturing Operations upon joining Nabi Biopharmaceuticals in March 2003. His career includes 14 years with Aventis Pasteur from 1987 to 2001, where he was instrumental in developing several vaccines from early research to marketed products. During his tenure there, he held the positions of Vice President, Industrial Operations; Vice President, Development, Quality Operations and Manufacturing; Director of Product Development; and head of bacterial vaccines research/research scientist. During the year prior to joining Nabi Biopharmaceuticals, Dr. Fahim was an independent consultant, working with Aventis Pasteur and other companies worldwide on projects that included manufacturing, process improvement, quality operations and regulatory issues. From 2001 to 2002, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Lorus Therapeutics, Inc., a Toronto-based biopharmaceutical company focused on the research and development of cancer therapies. Dr. Fahim received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto.

David L. Castaldi has been a director of the Company since 1994. He is currently an independent consultant. Mr. Castaldi was founder and Chairman of the Board (1996-2001) and Chief Executive Officer (1998-1999) of Cadent Medical Corp., a medical device company that was sold to Cardiac Science, Inc. Previously, Mr. Castaldi was founder and Chief Executive Officer (1987-1994) of BioSurface Technology, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed biotechnology company that was sold to Genzyme Corporation. He also served as President of Baxter International?s worldwide plasma fractionation division, where he was the corporate sponsor for the development of recombinant Factor VIII, a biopharmaceutical with sales over $1 billion. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (maxima cum laude) and Harvard Business School (with high distinction) where he was a Baker Scholar. Mr. Castaldi also serves on the Boards of Embrex, Inc.

Geoffrey F. Cox, Ph.D. has been a director of the Company since 2000. He has been Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, since 2001. From 1997 to 2001, he was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Aronex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company. From 1984 to 1997, he was employed by Genzyme Corporation, a biotechnology company, last serving as its Executive Vice President, Operations. Dr. Cox also serves on the board of GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc. and on the board of the Biotechnology Industry Organization.

Linda Jenckes has been a director of the Company since 1997. She has been President of Linda Jenckes & Associates, a government relations consulting firm that she founded, since 1995. Ms. Jenckes also serves on the boards of directors of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the National Polycystic Kidney Disease Research Foundation. From 1992 to 1994, Ms. Jenckes served as Senior Vice President of the Health Insurance Association of America, where she was Vice President of Federal Affairs from 1982 to 1992 and a Federal Relations Representative from 1978 to 1981.

Richard A. Harvey, Jr. has been a director of the Company since 1992. He has been President of Stonebridge Associates, LLC, an investment banking firm, since 1996, and has over 30 years of investment banking experience. Mr. Harvey received an A.B. in Government from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, where he was elected an Edward Tuck Scholar.

Stephen G. Sudovar has been a director of the Company since 2002. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of SGS Associates, a management consulting firm. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Sudovar served as President and Chief Executive Office of EluSys Therapeutics, Inc., a biotechnology company. From 1988 to August 1999, he was employed by Roche Laboratories, a division of F. Hoffman-La Roche Ltd., a global healthcare company, last serving as its President. Mr. Sudovar also serves on the board of Aastrom Biosciences, Inc. Mr. Sudovar received a B.S. in Marketing from St. Peter?s College and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
