Arthur Kirsch is a Managing Director with Savvian, focusing on the Healthcare sector. He has 31 years of investment banking / capital markets experience, in a broad range of capacities. Prior to Savvian, Arthur was a Managing Director at Vector Securities and held senior management positions at Natwest Securities, and Drexel Burnham Lambert. He received his BS from the University of Rhode Island and his MBA from Baruch College.

Mr. Jacques Rejeange joined the board of directors of POZEN in February of 2007 and is a member of the nominating/corporate governance committee. Mr. Rejeange was previously appointed to the POZEN Board of Directors in April 1997 and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors from December 1999 to December 2000 before his retirement in 2004. He currently sits on the Boards of Medicentrix AG and Swisslog AG in Switzerland. Previously, Mr. Rejeange was President of Florham Consulting S.A. based in Areuse, Switzerland; Chief Operating Officer and later President and Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Winthrop, Inc.; and President and Chief Executive Officer of Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Corporation USA.

Mr. James J. Mauzey joined the board of directors in May 2006 and is the chairman of the compensation committee. Mr. Mauzey has over 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He was formerly president and chief executive officer of Bertek Pharmaceuticals, Inc, a division of Mylan Laboratories, Inc. Prior to that, he was chief executive officer of Innovex Worldwide, the contract sales division of Quintiles Transnational Organization and chairman and chief executive officer of Alteon Inc. In addition, Mr. Mauzey has held numerous sales, marketing and executive positions with Lederle Laboratories and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. Mr. Mauzey received a bachelor's degree from Lewis University and an MBA from Xavier University.

Ken is co-founder of Hatteras Venture Partners II and former co-head of the International Life Science Practice at Ernst & Young; He is currently Chairman of Inspire Pharmaceuticals, and a member of the boards of OSI Pharmaceuticals, CV Therapeutics and Pozen.
