Bob Greifeld is Chief Executive Officer of The NASDAQ OMX Group (NASDAQ: NDAQ), the world's largest exchange company. Greifeld assumed leadership of NASDAQ in 2003, when the company's primary business was operating one equity market in the U.S. Today, NASDAQ OMX is a leading participant in the exchange and technology sector, delivering trading, listing, financial market technology and public company services across six continents. Mr. Greifeld has led NASDAQ OMX through a series of complex, innovative acquisitions that have extended its footprint across the world, spanning all asset classes. Prior to joining NASDAQ OMX, Greifeld led the buy-side businesses for SunGard Data Systems. He was an entrepreneur for 10 years and with a small team, created what became the industry standard trade order management system for NASDAQ stocks. The company he led, Automated Securities Clearance and its technology platform, BRASS, was purchased by SunGard in 1999. Greifeld holds a Masters in Business from New York University, Stern School of Business, and a B.A. in English from Iona College. His graduate school thesis was on the operation of The NASDAQ Stock Market. Magnus Böcker is President of the NASDAQ OMX Group. With over 20 years at the leading edge of the exchange industry, he brings a wealth of experience from the European and international capital markets to NASDAQ OMX. Böcker has overall responsibility for a number of NASDAQ OMX business areas: Corporate Client Group, Corporate Services, Market Technology, Software Development, Global IT Services, and Carpenter Moore. During Böcker's tenure as CEO of OMX (2003-08) he strengthened the position of the Nordic region as a part of the international financial market. In a period of three years, OMX integrated seven national exchanges in Northern Europe into one. Today the OMX Nordic Exchange offers trading in cash equities, fixed income and derivatives in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Over 850 companies now trade on the Nordic Exchange. Böcker was also crucial in making OMX the world's largest provider of technology solutions for exchanges, clearing organizations, and securities depositories. Under Böcker's leadership, OMX set the benchmark for industry technology; a key recent achievement was the launch of Genium, the Next Generation Technology for the Exchange Industry. While CEO of OMX, Böcker turned the company around from loss-making back to high profitability; in both 2006 and 2007 OMX reported its highest revenues and highest operating profit ever in company history, with continued operational improvements and increased activity by all business areas. In October 2000, Edward Knight was named Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. Mr. Knight served as the Chief Legal Officer of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD, now FINRA) from June 1999 until becoming NASDAQ General Counsel. In his role as General Counsel, Knight is responsible for providing legal counsel to senior management and for overseeing the quality of legal services across the global organization. In January 2006, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) unanimously approved NASDAQ's application for exchange status. Prior to joining the NASD, Knight served as General Counsel of the U.S. Department of the Treasury from September 1994 to June 1999, where he was the Department's longest-serving General Counsel since the position was created in 1934. He also was on the commission that restructured the Internal Revenue Service in 1996 and led the legal team that advised Treasury Secretary Rubin in 1995 and 1996 on the debt limit crisis. Prior to his tenure at the Treasury, Knight was a partner with the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld in its Washington, D.C., office. A Texas native, Knight received his B.A., with honors in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and sits on the law school's Alumni Board of Directors. Knight is a member of the District of Columbia, Texas and Supreme Court Bars, and the Council on Foreign Relations. James S. Riepe was elected to NASDAQ OMX’s board of directors in May 2003. Mr. Riepe served as Vice Chairman of the board of directors of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., an investment management firm, since April 1997. He was also Chairman of the T. Rowe Price Mutual Funds. On January 1, 2006, Mr. Riepe retired from active management at T. Rowe Price and retired from T. Rowe Price Group in April 2006. Mr. Riepe continues to serve as a Senior Adviser at T. Rowe Price. Previously, he served on the firm’s management committee and was responsible for overseeing mutual fund activities, including U.S. and global marketing and service operations. Mike Splinter has been president and chief executive officer of Applied Materials since 2003 and chairman of the board of directors since 2009. Splinter is a 30-year veteran of the semiconductor industry and has led Applied Materials to record revenue and profits during his tenure. Under his leadership, the company is helping drive global adoption of solar power by enabling a true inflection point in the cost-per-watt of solar energy. Splinter serves on a number of influential business and industry boards, and is currently chairman of the Technology CEO Council (http://www.techceocouncil.org), a group of high-tech CEOs who are helping drive public policies to bolster U.S. competitiveness. He serves on the board of Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), the board of NASDAQ OMX Group Inc., the board of trustees for Santa Clara University and the board of directors for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, an organization of California CEOs focused on housing, transportation, and the environment. He is also a member of the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, an international forum of business CEOs and chairpersons focused on corporate philanthropy. Internationally, Splinter is a member of the Governor's Council of the World Economic Forum, and is active in the Forum's post-Gleneagles environment efforts. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Splinter was an executive at Intel Corporation where he held a number of positions in his 20 years at the company, including executive vice president and director of Sales and Marketing and executive vice president and general manager of the Technology and Manufacturing Group. Splinter began his career at Rockwell International in the firm's Electronics Research Center. During his tenure, he became manager of the company's Semiconductor Fabrication Operations and was awarded two patents. Author of numerous papers and articles, Splinter earned both bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Urban Bäckström was elected non-executive Deputy Chairman of NASDAQ OMX’s board of directors effective March 1, 2008. Previously, he was Chairman of OMX’s board of directors since April 2007 and a board member since 2005. He is currently, since June 1, 2005, also Managing Director of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, a pro-business non-profit organization representing 54,000 Swedish companies. Between 1991 and 1993, Mr. Bäckström was State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance in Sweden. From 1994 to December 31, 2002, Mr. Bäckström was Chairman and Governor of The Swedish Central Bank. During that period he also served on the board of the Bank for International Settlement, as a board member from 1994 to 1999 and as Chairman from 1999 to 2002. He also represented Sweden as Governor of the International Monetary Fund, in the Group-of-ten, in the European Monetary Institute, a forerunner to the European Central Bank (ECB) between 1995 and 1998 and in the General Council of ECB between 1999 and 2002. Mr. Bäckström was, in accordance with the Swedish Central Bank Act, restricted from seeking employment for ten months after leaving the Central Bank. From November 2003 until May 2005, he was Chief Executive Officer of Skandia Liv, one of the largest life insurers in Sweden.
