Edward L. Brunot has served as our Senior Vice President and President and Chief Operating Officer of MDV since February 2009. Mr. Brunot joined Nash Finch in July 2006 as our Senior Vice President, Military. Mr. Brunot previously served as Senior Vice President, Operations for AmeriCold Logistics, LLC from December 2002 to May 2006, where he was responsible for 29 distribution facilities in the Western Region. Before that, Mr. Brunot was Vice President of Operations for CS Integrated from 1999 to 2002. Mr. Brunot served as a Captain in the United States Army and holds a BS degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point and an MS degree from the University of Scranton.

"Cal Sihilling joined Nash Finch in 2006 and most recently served as CIO of AmeriCold Logistics, a leading third-party provider of supply chain solutions in the consumer packaged goods industry. He was responsible for the oversight of Information Technology (IT), Transportation, Project Support, and the National Service Center. Before that, Cal was CIO of the Eastern Region of Richfood Holdings, Inc./SuperValu Inc. for three years. In the ten years prior, he was Vice President, Information Systems at Alex Lee, Inc. Prior to that, Cal held various leadership positions servicing IT systems at such companies as Pepsico Food Systems, Dr. Pepper Company and Electronic Data Systems. "Christopher Brown joined Nash Finch in 2006. From 2003 to 2006, Christopher served as Chief Executive Officer of SimonDelivers, Inc., a leading online grocery delivery company. Proctor served for nearly 35 years in the United States Army, where he expertly performed in numerous senior logistics management roles including Commander, Defense Personnel Support Center and later Commander, Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia Quartermaster General of the United States Army, and J3, Defense Logistics Agency. General Proctor is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and earned an M.A. in Public Administration from Central Michigan University.

From September 1993 to January 1997, Mr. Grunewald served as the executive vice president, chief financial officer and secretary of Polaris Industries Inc., a manufacturer of snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and personal watercraft. "Sam Duncan began his career in 1969 at a Southern California Albertson's store as a courtesy clerk and was promoted to various store management, district management and merchandising positions, eventually being named Albertson's director of operations in 1991. He joined Fred Meyer, a major food and general merchandise retailer, in 1992 as vice president of the grocery department, and was promoted through the executive merchandising ranks. Mr. Duncan was named executive vice president of Fred Meyer's food division in 1997, and in 1998, when Fred Meyer acquired Ralph's Super Markets, Mr. Duncan was named president of the Ralph's division. In 1999, Kroger acquired Fred Meyer (1998 sales: $15 billion). Mr. Duncan was appointed president of Fred Meyer in 2001.
Most recently, Mr. Duncan served as president and chief executive officer of Shopko Stores, Inc., a $3.2 billion (2004 sales) general merchandise retailer headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which he joined in 2002. Shopko's retail operations include more than 360 stores in the Midwest, Mountain and Pacific Northwest regions of the U.S. Shopko announced on April 8, 2005 that it agreed to be purchased by the private equity firm of Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison.
Mr. Duncan joined OfficeMax in 2005 as president and chief executive officer. Later that year he was unanimously elected chairman by the company's board of directors.
