Mr. York has held senior financial positions at a number of biotechnology and technology companies during his career. In February 2008, he was appointed CFO of MDRNA, having been named Secretary and interim CFO in January of that year. In September 2005, he was appointed Senior Director - Finance, Chief Accounting Officer and Assistant Secretary of MDRNA, previously serving (from August 2004) as Director, Accounting and Corporate Controller. From 1999 to 2004 he was Vice President, CFO and Corporate Secretary of Cellular Technical Services Company, Inc. He was Director of Finance at Cell Therapeutics, Inc from to 1998 to 1999. From 1987 to 1998 Mr. York held a number of positions at Physio Control International Corporation (now Medtronic Physio-Control). He began his career at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) in 1978. Mr. York is a licensed CPA. Mr. York holds an A.B., cum laude, from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Mr. Thaw has been a director of the Company since June 1991 and became Chairman of the Board of Directors in October 2008. Mr. Thaw is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bulbtronics, Inc., a national distributor of technical and specialty light sources and related products and has served in this position since 2000. Mr. Thaw is a practicing attorney and was admitted to the bar of the State of New York in 1978 and the California State Bar in 1983. From 1984 to 2001, Mr. Thaw served as general counsel to the Company. Mr. Thaw is also a director of SafeNet, Inc., a publicly traded company that designs, manufactures and markets computer network security systems and products, and Amtech Systems, Inc., a publicly traded company engaged in the semi-conductor equipment industry. Mr. Thaw holds a B.B.A. degree in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University and a J.D. degree from the Hofstra University School of Law.

Devin Wenig is the Chief Executive Officer of the Markets Division of Thomson Reuters. He leads the global financial services and media businesses, which provide indispensible information to professionals in the financial services, media and corporate markets. Previously, Mr. Wenig served as Chief Operating Officer and a Board Director of Reuters Group PLC and held a number of senior management positions. Mr. Wenig first joined Reuters in 1993. Mr. Wenig is a director of Nastech Pharmaceutical Company, one of the first American biotechnology companies, the March of Dimes charity, and FXMarketSpace, a Reuters joint venture with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He is also a Member of the Young Global Leaders section of the World Economic Forum. Mr. Wenig received a B.A. from Union College and received a J.D. from Columbia University Law School.
