Jane Honoroff, LICSW, MSW (Simmons), has been a practitioner in the mental health and social work field since 1969 and a mediator since 1984. She is a founding partner in The Mediation Group (TMG). Honoroff also conducts a private psychotherapy practice. Honoroff's experience in the mental health field covers a broad range of delivery systems. She spent a number of years at the Somerville Mental Health Clinic working on a child abuse treatment team. In addition, she has worked in Boston area hospitals providing in-patient psychiatric and medical social work services. She continues to provide supervision to social work clinicians and students and also conducts weekly consultations to advocates at Greater Boston Legal Services. In 1989 Honoroff completed a certificate training by Dr. Jeffrey Mitchell in "Critical Incident Stress Debriefing" and has participated in numerous debriefings. As a principal of TMG, Honoroff specializes in mediating family issues such as divorce, post-divorce, nontraditional family issues, family business, and estate settlement. She also handles all intakes for TMG's family mediation program. Honoroff also designs and conducts dispute resolution skills trainings. She has provided training for a variety of clients including a public school system, a medical school administration, health care professionals, the Middlesex Probate Court Clinic, and a number of area mental health clinics. Honoroff has made regular presentations to law students at Northeastern University. In addition, she serves on the Adjunct Faculty at Boston University School of Social Work. Bringing skills from her clinical experience to mediation, Honoroff encourages parties to clarify their needs and interests, listen effectively, and articulate feelings that bear on the case. In the process of reaching agreement, parties gain new perspective and establish respect for one another and themselves. This approach is especially useful in disputes where the long-term relationship of the parties must be maintained. Honoroff is a Diplomate with the National Association of Social Workers, a Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work with the American Board of Examiners and a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution. She received her M.S.W. from Simmons College Graduate School of Social Work in 1979.

Kathleen Fimmel draws from her expertise as a therapist and coach in training individuals and teams. Her achievements in this regard include helping organizations to develop leaders and to implement personal and cultural changes, which improve communication and overall performance. She is a seasoned public speaker, an accomplished psychodramatist and group facilitator, and has trained other healthcare professionals at the post-graduate level. One of Kathleen's guiding professional philosophies is that true health comes from attending to the domains of emotion, body, language, and spirit. Accordingly, she employs an integrative approach, and brings a depth to her work as an accomplished trainer, with extensive experience in developing and delivering dynamic workshops and seminars. She has led team-building interventions and facilitated conflict resolution meetings. and is adept at creating a climate of safety during times of change. In 2001, Kathleen founded Point of Change, P.C., a practice focusing on the dynamics of organizational change based on core values. As a qualified user of Cultural Transformation Tools1, Kathleen's techniques include the use of a 360 multi-rater feedback instrument, as well as a values-based assessment, which informs executives and their teams as to where the focus of change must be. Point of Change clients are empowered to achieve optimal resource utilization while facilitating maximum growth on all levels: individual, relational, organizational, and societal. For eight years prior to founding Point of Change, P.C., Kathleen directed The Center for Integrative Therapy, which she co-founded in 1992. As the Center's Director, she managed diverse healthcare practitioners, published a newsletter, and supervised colleagues in personal and business development activities. Kathleen has developed mastery in the domain of emotional intelligence, and offers a unique and inspiring style, which challenges individuals and groups to transcend self-established limitations. Rather than encouraging "outside-the-box" thinking, Kathleen strives to help her clients see that there is no box at all. She is able to see people for who they truly are, bringing out their gifts and talents. She encourages people to see with "new eyes" and to accept full responsibility for their choices. Her compassionate and often humorous approach promotes creativity, fosters trust, and enhances cooperation within and among teams. She has a way of guiding even the most resistant learners to become more effective on the job while increasing job satisfaction, with benefits that often extend to their personal lives.

Jonathan Goldin, M.S.W.; J.D., a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Child & Family Therapist, ADHD Specialist, and seminar instructor, coach, and consultant, has developed innovative and successful treatment and assessment strategies for hundreds of children, adolescents, college students, adults, and families, as well as for schools and other professional providers across the country. Many of his clients have been diagnosed with ADD/ ADHD. His interest in ADHD is very personal: at age 44 while in his first year of a masters program in social work, he read Edward Hallowell's seminal book, Driven to Distraction (1994), which created a revolution in the awareness of adult ADHD and provided Goldin with an instant epiphany about his own condition, previously undiagnosed. About seven years later, Goldin found himself working for a period of time at the Hallowell Center in Sudbury, MA, which provides high quality assessment and treatment of ADHD. Goldin is the Founder and Director of The Family Tree: Training Renewal Expression Enlightenment, a multifamily, psychoeducational and recreational family leadership training program for ADHD families, originally sponsored by The Michelson Clinic at Holyoke Hospital in Western, MA. He received his Masters in Social Work from Boston University, his law degree from American University Law School in Washington, D.C., and also completed graduate work in Education at the University of California at Berkeley. Goldin created two courses for Cross Country University, a national seminar company based in Nashville, Tennessee: ADHD: Thinking Outside the Box: A Multi-Systems Approach, which he delivered in approximately sixty-five cities, and Special Education Law: A Win-Win Approach for Your School. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and active with the Psychotherapy Networker journal community, where he presented a workshop on ADHD in March 2002, at their Annual Symposium in Washington, D.C. Currently in private practice in Amherst, MA he recently completed an intensive six month "Vanguard Class" in Authentic Happiness Coaching, taught by Professor Martin Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Psychology.
