Laura is the Chief Risk Officer of National Bank of Canada. After spending two years with a major Chartered Accountant firm, Laura joined National Bank of Canada where she has spent her career in positions of increasing responsibility within the Commercial, Corporate Banking and Credit divisions. Laura holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Economics from the University of Western Ontario. She has an ongoing involvement in the non-profit community including having served as Chair of National Bank Financial's United Way fundraising initiatives in Toronto. Laura is a Board member of the Children's Aid Foundation and chairs the Foundation's Corporate and Individual Giving Committee. She is also an active volunteer with Covenant House and has also been a foster mother to a child in the care of the Children's Aid Society.

Roseann O'Reilly Runte Ph.D. has joined the LifeNet Health Board of Directors. Runte is president and vice chancellor of Carleton University in Canada. Prior to her position at Carleton University, she was president at Old Dominion University in Norfolk for seven years. She also previously served as president of Victoria University, principal of Glendon College and president of l'Universite Sainte-Anne. Runte has served on numerous boards and commissions including the National Bank of Canada, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, the Foundation for International Training, EXPO 2000, and the Southern Commission on Colleges. She is president of the American Council of Education's Commission on International Education and a member of the International Parliament of Cultures. She was president of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, president of the Humanities Federation of Canada, a member of the advisory board of the National Library of Canada, and the Associated Medical Services, an Ontario-based health charity, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. In addition, she was also chair of the board of the Foundation for International Training, a nonprofit development services agency, vice chair of the board of the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art in Toronto, member of the Virginia Commission for Industry and Economic Development and the Virginia Shipbuilding Integration Center. A partner at Heenan Blaikie, Luc R. Borduas joined the firm after practicing for twenty years with the law firm of Demers Bureau Borduas. Mr. Borduas focuses his practice on corporate, tax and commercial law, with an emphasis on commercial transactions on both a local and international scale. He represents numerous regional, national and international companies in manufacturing, retail and services, including venture capital corporations. He is also involved in the financing of biotechnology, information technology and other high tech corporations. An experienced speaker, Mr. Borduas has delivered many presentations to a variety of audiences over the years. He was moderator at the Association des avocats de province convention in 2002, a panellist at the Estrie International 2007 and at Export Development Canada. He was also a lecturer at the Universite de Sherbrooke and the Institute of Canadian Bankers. Very involved in the Sherbrooke community, Mr. Borduas has active in philanthropic and socio-cultural initiatives for many years. He was president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Sherbrooke region (1995-1996) and chairman of its board until 1999; he was patron of honour of the arts auction at the Musee des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke in 2002 and of the Alzheimer's Society; he is currently president of the Fondation de l'Universite de Sherbrooke and chairs its management committee. He is also a director of the Orford Arts Centre. Mr. Borduas is just as involved in the business world. He is legal counsel for the Essaim chain of pharmacies, chairman of the board of Preimpression Ad Hoc Le Groupe Inc., and a member representing Estrie of the advisory committee of the National Bank of Canada.
