Bruce Stokes covers international economics for National Journal. His awards include the John Hancock award for excellence in business and economics reporting. Stokes is the co-author of America Against the World and author of A New Beginning: Recasting the U.S.-Japan Economic Relationship. A former senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, Stokes is currently a journalism fellow at the German Marshall Fund and a consultant to the Pew Research Center. In 2004, he was chosen by International Economy magazine as one of the most influential China watchers in the American press. Stokes graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and has a master's degree from the School for Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Carl Cannon is a White House correspondent for National Journal. In 1999, he was awarded the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency. Before joining the magazine in May of 1998, Cannon worked for six newspapers over a 20-year span. During that time, he covered the White House for the Baltimore Sun and was a member of the San Jose Mercury News staff that won the Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the Loma Prieta earthquake. Cannon was elected president of the White House Correspondents' Association in 2003 and in 2004 published The Pursuit of Happiness in Times of War. He is also a co-author of Boy Genius, a biography of top Bush White House aide Karl Rove, and serves as the in-house writing coach at National Journal. A native of San Francisco, Cannon attended the University of Colorado, majoring in journalism. He has been a guest on NPR, BBC, CNN, MSNBC's "Hardball with Chris Matthews," and makes frequent appearances on Radio Telefis ireann (RTE), the Irish National Public Service Broadcasting Organization.
Charles Cook is Publisher of The Cook Political Report, and political analyst for the National Journal Group, where he writes weekly for National Journal magazine and CongressDailyAM. He also writes a regular column for the Washington Quarterly, published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and is a political analyst for NBC News. Widely regarded as one of the nation's leading authorities on U.S. elections and political trends, Charlie has appeared on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening news programs, as well as on "Good Morning America," The "Today Show," "Nightline," "Meet the Press with Tim Russert," and "This Week?" The New York Times has called Cook, "?one of the best political handicappers in the nation" and noted that The Cook Political Report is"?a newsletter that both parties regard as authoritative," while Bob Schieffer of CBS News has called the Cook Political Report, "the bible of the political community.

Professor Peter Stone is an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow and Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Ph.D. in 1998 and his M.S. in 1995 from Carnegie Mellon University, both in Computer Science. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago in 1993. From 1999 to 2002 he was a Senior Technical Staff Member in the Artificial Intelligence Principles Research Department at AT&T Labs - Research. Prof. Stone is Director of the Learning Agents research group at The University of Texas Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Department. The aim is to understand how we can best create complete intelligent agents. Professor Stone considers both adaptation and interaction to be essential capabilites of such agents. Thus, his research focuses mainly on machine learning, multiagent systems, and robotics. Application domains include robot soccer, autonomous bidding agents, traffic management, and autonomic computing. Prof. Stone, brings extensive expertise on high-level robotics and AI control algorithms as well as extensive experience deploying successful software in multi-agent competition scenarios. Prof. Stone is fully committed to a close partnership with ART on this project, including devoting his own time, and contributing dedicated post-doc and graduate student effort towards the goal of winning the Urban Challenge.

Before joining National Journal in 1997, he was a staff writer at The Washington Post, and a senior editor of The New Republic. He is a two-time recipient of the National Press Club's Arthur C. David Wasserman is an associate editor of National Journal and House editor of the Cook Political Report. He joined the Report in 2007 after three years as co-editor of Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball newsletter and website. In that capacity, he served as an off-air analyst for BBC America's Election Night 2006 coverage. He holds a B.A. in government with distinction from the University of Virginia and was awarded the 2006 Emmerich-Wright Outstanding Thesis prize for his study of congressional redistricting standards.
Jennifer E. Duffy is Senior Editor and a political analyst for The Cook Political Report, where she is responsible for U.S. Senate and the Governors. Founded in 1984, The Cook Political Report provides analyses of Presidential, U.S. Senate, House and gubernatorial races for over 800 subscribers, including corporations, trade associations, labor unions, government agencies, foreign governments, and media outlets. Its subscribers have included the Reagan, Bush (41 and 43) and Clinton White Houses. The New York Times has called The Cook Political Report, "a newsletter that both parties regard as authoritative." Jennifer has 20 years of experience in campaign politics, the last 17 of which have focused on non-partisan political analysis. In 1985, she served as Press Secretary for the National Republican Senatorial Committee; she joined The Cook Political Report in 1988 as its first Assistant Editor. While continuing to work as the Report's contributing editor, Jennifer also was a senior account executive with Hill and Knowlton Public Affairs Worldwide, where she developed and implemented strategic public affairs programs for a diverse group of clients. In 1992, she joined the lobbying firm of Cassidy & Associates, devising legislative strategies for clients, with an emphasis in the areas of appropriations and health care. In 1995, Jennifer rejoined Cook & Company full-time. In addition to her responsibilities for the Report, she contributes to National Journal magazine. She also has served as an off-air analyst for NBC News on Election Nights from 1996-2004. Jennifer has been quoted in numerous publications and has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS' "The News Hour with Jim Lehrer," and C-SPAN's "Washington Journal." A native of Rhode Island, Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Government from Georgetown University in 1985.
