An avid pilot and air traffic controller, Mr.Rose is currently National Operations Manager for NAV CANADA, where he oversees the daily operation of Canada's air traffic control system. A native Newfoundlander, and strong proponent of keeping the heart of a community healthy, Mr. Rose is active in several organisations that foster sport, culture and social growth. Mr. Rose is married and spends a great deal of time trying to keep up with his four year old son and their Newfoundland dog. Mr. Rose holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and joined the board in January of 2006.

Jim Gouk is semi retired after a career which included 22 years with Transport Canada and 4 terms as the Member of Parliament for BC Southern Interior. During his time in Parliament, Mr. Gouk served as Chief Opposition Transport critic and vice chair of the Standing Committee on Transport.
