Mobile WiMAX offers mobile wireless broadband connectivity delivered to a person where ever they go, rather than only to a building, as is common today. Navini's Ripwave MX system has surfed to the WiMAX Forum's third public Mobile WiMAX PlugFest, held in Taipei in October 2007. Navini has participated in all Mobile WiMAX PlugFests held to date demonstrating product and technology readiness for Mobile WiMAX Certification. Navini intends to be first in line when WiMAX Forum Certification begins. Also in October 2007, Navini, along with Beceem, Fujitsu and Runcom announced the formation of the "SMart Antenna RF Test" Alliance (SMART), to drive harmonized system performance and interoperability of Smart Antenna systems. George Simpson, Jr., VP of Operations, brings more than 30 years of business operations experience to Navini. Michael Goguen is a Sequoia Capital US partner and focuses on investments in the components and systems sectors.
