Needham & Co.

Mr. Albanese joined Needham & Company, LLC in 1996. He was formerly in the mutual funds area of PaineWebber Group, Inc. Prior to that, he was a Senior Accountant with Raines & Fischer CPAs. Mr. Albanese is a Certified Public Accountant, New York State.

Mr. Lirola is a senior investment banker with extensive experience in all aspects of Wall Street, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and equity research for a wide range of companies. This gives him a unique perspective in helping boards and senior executives evaluate their strategic and financial options. Having joined Needham & Company as a Corporate Finance banker heading our Healthcare Group in 1994, he became an Equity Research Analyst for the Company's Healthcare Services sector in 1997 and has since returned to Corporate Finance advising companies in all industries. Prior to joining Needham & Company in 1994, Mr. Lirola was head of Swiss Bank Corporation's U.S. Mergers and Acquisitions Group (1990-1994) and head of First Boston Corporation's M&A Healthcare activities (1985-1990.) He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France.

Mr. Van Valkenburgh has overall management responsibility at Needham & Company for oversight of the sales team. He is a member of the firm's Operating Committee. Mr. Van Valkenburgh has been a sales person at Needham since 2000. Previously, Mr. Van Valkenburgh was a portfolio manager at Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, and UBS before joining Needham & Company.

Mr. Foss has overall management responsibility at Needham & Company for the firm's equity business, including oversight of the sales, trading, and new issue management functions. He is a member of the firm's Board of Directors. Previously, Mr. Foss was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns and held the positions of Managing Director and Principal at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Before joining DLJ, he had been a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Foss is a graduate of Harvard Business School.

Dr. Shipp is a partner at Shipp, Needham, and Durham L.L.C. He is also Associate Professor of Marketing at the M.J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University. Dr. Shipp has been a consultant and expert witness for over 20 years. During that time, Dr. Shipp has testified on such subjects as business valuation, liability, and economic damages including lost profits, lost earnings, and lost benefits. He has also testified in cases involving wrongful death, wrongful termination, personal injury, medical malpractice, divorce, commercial litigation, antitrust, wrongful termination of distribution agreements, and failure to exercise best efforts in promoting a new product. Dr. Shipp has been retained by attorneys for plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts.

Dr. Durham is Chairman Emeritus at Shipp, Needham, and Durham, L.L.C. and Emeritus Professor of Economics at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth Texas. Dr. Durham has been an economics consultant and expert witness for over 35 years. During that time, Dr. Durham has testified extensively on economic damages in cases involving wrongful death, wrongful termination, personal injury, medical malpractice, divorce, commercial litigation, and antitrust. Dr. Durham has been retained by plaintiffs, and defendants in cases in state and federal courts. Earlier in his career, he testified extensively on bank charters and worker's compensation issues. Dr. Durham retired in 1997 but continues to serve in an advisory capacity with the firm.

Mr. Horn has been a member of the board since February 2006 and succeeded Dr. Gene Goodson as Chairman in May 2008. Prior to Mr. Horn's election to the Southwall Board of Directors he retired in 1985 as Chairman of Joy Manufacturing Co. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, now known as Joy Global Inc., a manufacturer of heavy equipment. He served as Chairman of Needham & Co., Inc. until his retirement and election as Chairman Emeritus in 1991. Currently, he is a director of Needham & Co. and also serves as a director and Chairman of the Board of REMEC, Inc. Mr. Horn holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Paris and is a graduate from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales.
