Schneider Electric

James Ross has been an independent non-executive director since May 2004 and the Senior Independent Director since May 2006. He holds non-executive directorships with McGraw Hill in the United States and Schneider Electric in France. He is also Chairman of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education and of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. James was previously a non-executive director of Datacard Inc in the United States, and prior to that Chairman of National Grid plc and Littlewoods plc. He was also Chief Executive of Cable and Wireless plc and Chairman and Chief Executive of BP America Inc., and a Managing Director of the British Petroleum Company plc.

Cyrille Helbert is the CFO for Xantrex Technology and Vice President of Finance for Schneider Electric Canada. Cyrille joined Schneider Electric in 2006 and has had progressive finance positions since that time in France, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. He holds a Diploma in Finance from Reims Management School and a Masters from the University of Paris in Economics. Cyrille is located in the Schneider Canada office in Toronto, ON.

Sergio Corbo is the Vice President of Corporate Business Development and Strategy for Schneider Electric. Sergio is responsible for the strategic business development of the Renewable Business Unit of Schneider Electric, which includes subsidiary Xantrex Technology Inc. Sergio joined Schneider Electric in 2005, and has held positions in Corporate Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), targeting key acquisitions for portfolio management of $4.0 billion, in areas ranging from Electrical Distribution to Power Electronics and Cleantech (Renewable Energy). Before Schneider, Sergio worked as Director of Global Business Development and in various other positions in sales and marketing management at Magnetek and Ferrari Formula One Racing. Sergio holds a Doctorate in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Universita' di Firenze in Florence, Italy and Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, USA.

Mr. Laxman Shetty has diverse business interests including electrical consultancy, hotel industry and real estate. He has successfully executed projects for various electrical utilities and government organizations. Mr. Shetty is the founder of Eagle Electricals, a leading channel partner for Schneider Electric, Tyco Electronics and Landis+Gyr Ltd. Mr. Shetty has over 35 years of experience in the electrical industry.

Jean-Marc Zola joined the TAC organization in 2004 as Vice President Strategy Security. In addition to this role, Jean-Marc holds the position of Vice President Building Security with parent company Schneider Electric, which he joined in 1998. His business background includes roles within management, corporate internal auditing, business strategy and services operations at Schneider Electric and Cap Gemini. Born in 1965, Zola holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from Supelec (France) as well as a Master Degree in Strategic Management from Dauphine University (France).

Jean-Pierre Desbenoit joined Schneider Electric in 2002 to take the position of Electronic and Software Research Director. Previously Jean-Pierre spent 20 years in the Telecommunication field in various R&D positions : electronic design, software design, software development manager, and radio department manager at EADS Telecom where he has been involved in the TETRAPOL technology specification and was managing the development teams in charge of base stations and radio terminals equipping the public security forces of several countries in the world. Jean-Pierre graduated from the High National School of Telecommunication, Paris

Jon brings 15 years of experience as a former Cat 1 Road Racer and an active supporter and organizer of cycling events in British Columbia. He was the director of the Times Colonist Cycling Festival in 2002 and 2003 and has been involved in the bicycle industry for most of his working career. Jon currently holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University and is a regional inside sales representative for Schneider Electric.

Kathy is a Corporate Executive Event Planner for Schneider Electric. Kathy's husband Calvin works for Hewlett-Packard (22 years). Kathy has 3 children, 5 grandchildren (!), one horse, one dog, and one cat. Hobbies are horseback riding, golf, skiing, painting, reading and travel.

Robert Klein is vice president, Product Distribution & SE Countries. He is responsible for product business and product market pricing through all channels and serves as the interface with MR&D for future product needs. He is also in charge of the TAC Knowledge Support group, which provides training and other support to TAC employees and Partners. In addition, he has an active role in establishing and driving business development in North and South American countries where Schneider Electric and TAC conduct joint sales and marketing activities. Prior to joining TAC, Klein held management and engineering positions with International Energy Management and MCC Powers. Klein holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.
