Network Engines Inc.

Doug Bryant joined NEI in 1997 as chief financial officer responsible for all financial and administrative activities. Previously, he was chief financial officer and treasurer of CrossComm Corporation, where he was part of the senior management team that guided the company back to profitability before its acquisition in June 1997. He also was corporate controller at Webster Spring Co. and a CPA at Arthur Young & Company. Bryant holds a BS in Business Administration/Accounting from Bryant College.

Rich Graber joined NEI in October 2003 as vice president of engineering and operations. With over 20 years of experience in engineering, he is responsible for engineering and operations. Previously, he served as vice president of engineering and operations for Jedai Broadband Networks. Prior to that, he was vice president of engineering for ViaGate Technologies. He has also held engineering positions at Dialogic, an Intel company. Rich earned a BSEE degree from Drexel University.

Robert Wadsworth has served as a Network Engines director since 1999. He has also served as managing director of HarbourVest Partners, LLC since 1997 and managing director of Hancock Venture Partners, Inc., an affiliate of Network Engines. Robert is a member of the board of directors of several domestic and international private companies, as well as the following publicly held companies: Concord Communications, Inc., ePresence, Inc. (formerly Banyan Systems, Inc.), Switchboard, Inc., and Trintech Group PLC.

Dennis Kirshy has served as Network Engines director since July 1997. He is a private investor and has advised and invested in small technology companies in the networking, internetworking and computer industries since February 1993. Dennis is Chairman of the Board of Seranoa Networks, Inc. and is also a director of several privately-held companies in the networking, telecommunications and software arenas.

Gary Haroian has served on the Network Engines board of directors since June 2003. He also works as a consultant and advisor to technology companies. Most recently, Gary served as chief financial officer, chief operating officer and interim chief executive officer at Bowstreet Software. Previously, he served as senior vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer at Concord Communications Inc. and held executive positions at Stratus Technologies Inc. Gary also serves as director for Aspen Technology, Inc. and Silverback Technologies, Inc.

Fontaine K. Richardson is a consultant and private investor and resides in Carlisle. He was a general partner of Eastech Management Company, a manager of venture capital funds, and a co-founder of Applicon Inc., an early provider of CAD/CAM products. He serves on the Board of Directors of Mentor Graphics Corporation (Oregon) and Network Engines (Massachusetts) and is a Director and Treasurer of the Carlisle Conservation Foundation and Carlisle Land Trust.

Jim Herlihy joined Network Engines in October 1999 and is currently the Vice President of finance and administration. With over 13 years of high-tech experience, Jim oversees the financial, reporting and human resource functions of the company. Previously, he served as the corporate controller for Network Engines. Prior to joining Network Engines, he held the positions of controller at Point Information Systems and Seagate Software. Other experience includes audit supervisory roles in two regional CPA firms. Jim holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Stonehill College.

Kevin Murphy joined Network Engines in 2003 and is currently Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, Kevin is responsible for formulating the technology vision for Network Engines and overseeing its practical application in all product development efforts. Previously, Kevin served as Chief Architect and Director of Advanced Development for Network Engines where he was responsible for the design of the Company's first application security firewall. Prior to joining Network Engines, Kevin founded Mantis Solutions, Inc., a consulting company that helped companies optimize existing technologies and has also held engineering positions at Adero, Inc., Open Development Corporation, and Xionics, Inc. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Massachusetts Lowell.
