Howard Anderson is the William Porter Distinguished Lecturer at the Sloan School of Management at MIT, where he teaches courses in the management of High Tech companies and dealing with Adversity. He has been elected to the Alfred P. Sloan Society, an organization of leading CEO's. He has also been a Visiting Professor at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth University. He sits on the advisory board of 3 Com, A123 Systems and Outside The Classroom. He is the founder of The Yankee Group, a leading high technology analysis firm which he ran from 1970 to 2000 and which was sold in 2000 to Reuters, a New York Stock Exchange firm. He is also an early investor in such companies as VMX, which invented voice mail and Sonus, the first voice over IP company, both of which returned 50 times the original investment. He is the Co-Founder of Battery Ventures, which was formed in 1984 and whose investments include Akamai, InfoSeek, Qtera and Nextel. Battery Ventures currently manages over $1.8 Billion and focuses on early stage investing. He has written on The Language of Pattern Recognition and Why Big Companies Can't Invent which have been published in Technology Review. Mr. Anderson holds a patent on a wrist watch that tells the next day's weather. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in 1966 and The Harvard Business School with an MBA in 1968.

John Dix is Editor in Chief of Network World where he is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the news weekly. A 24 year industry veteran, Dix started his career at International Data Corp. in 1980 where he was an editor of executive newsletters covering developments in networking and distributed processing. He joined Computerworld in 1984 as the news weekly's senior communications editor, then in 1986 was part of the team that left Computerworld to launch Network World. Dix has served on the boards of many industry trade shows, including Interop, Comnet, Comdex and PC Expo.
As Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Datacenter, Switching, and Security Technology Group at Cisco, Tom Edsall is the chief architect of the Cisco MDS 9000 storage networking platform, which was distinguished in 2003 with a Network World "World-Class Award."
Draper is responsible for leading Network World's operations, information technology and corporate services functions. Draper has over 20 years experience in the technology industry, including experience in product development, technology management and professional services in both domestic and international settings. Prior to joining Network World, Draper worked in various strategic capacities at Olivetti, Stream International and Honeywell.

Joe Skorupa, once in the IT department at Indiana University and now a research vice president Gartner, is among those with IT tales to tell.
Fanning is responsible for Network World's financial systems, which includes operational analysis, billing, accounting and budgeting. In 1986, Fanning was a part of the original team that launched Network World from Computerworld. Fanning is instrumental in developing the financial strategic operations for Network World and was promoted to Vice President in 1992.

Nicole Belson Goluboff is a lawyer who regularly writes and speaks on the legal implications of telework. She is the author of "The Law of Telecommuting," which concerns the legal consequences of telecommuting for both employers and employees. She is also the author of "Telecommuting for Lawyers", which concerns telework as a law practice management strategy, and of numerous articles on telecommuting. Her articles have appeared in "New York Law Journal", "National Law Journal", "State Tax Notes", "BNA's Multistate Tax Report", "Trial", "FindLaw's Legal Commentary", and "ALA Management Encyclopedia", among other publications. Goluboff is an advisory board member of the Telework Coalition and past chair of the Subcommittee on Telecommuting of the ABA Young Lawyers Division Women in the Profession Committee. She has practiced as a telecommuting litigator with the New York law firm of Kostelanetz & Fink and as an office-based litigator with the New York law firm of Kronish Lieb Weiner & Hellman. Goluboff earned her JD in 1990 from the Columbia University School of Law. She earned her BA in 1987 from Columbia University, Columbia College, where she graduated summa cum laude and junior Phi Beta Kappa in the college's first co-ed class.
