Richard L. Perkal has served as a director since 2004. Mr. Perkal is currently a Partner of Irving Place Capital, the firm formerly known as Bear Stearns Merchant Banking, LLC, and an affiliate of the controlling shareholder of New York & Company, Inc. He was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns Merchant Banking, LLC, which he joined in July 2000. Previously, Mr. Perkal was a senior partner in the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he headed the Washington, D.C. corporate transactional practice, primarily focusing on leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. Mr. Perkal currently serves as a director of CamelBak Group, LLC; Stuart Weitzman Holdings, LLC; and Vitamin Shoppe Industries Inc.
David H. Edwab joined the Company in February 1991 and was elected Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. In February 1993, he was elected Chief Operating Officer of the Company. In February 1997, Mr. Edwab was elected President of the Company. He was elected as a director of the Company in 1991. In November 2000, Mr. Edwab joined Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. ( Bear Stearns ) as a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Retail Group in the Investment Banking Department of Bear Stearns. Accordingly, Mr. Edwab resigned as President of the Company and was then named Vice Chairman of the Board. In February 2002, Mr. Edwab re-joined the Company and continues to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Edwab is also a director of Aeropostale, Inc. and New York and Company.

Mr. Miuccio is a partner with Welby, Brady & Greenblatt, LLP and director of the firm's Employment and Labor Practice Group. Mr. Miuccio's practice is devoted to representing general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. He has a wealth of experience in labor relations and employment law. His extensive experience includes collective bargaining on behalf of management with the construction trades, grievances and arbitrations, National Labor Relations Board proceedings, ERISA litigation and Taft-Hartley employee benefit funds. Mr. Miuccio received his J.D. from St. John's University Law School. He is currently General Counsel to Construction Industry Council of Westchester and Hudson Valley (CIC); the Association of NYC Concrete Producers; the Contracting Stone Setters Association, the Marble Industry of New York, Inc.; and the Mosaic Terrazzo & Specialty Contractors Association. Mr. Miuccio has lectured and authored articles for the Construction Industry and is a monthly contributor to the Attorney's Column for the Construction News. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association and The Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Mr. Miuccio is also past president of The Columbian Lawyers Association.

Anne Teshima is a Vice President of Classic Realty LLC, an affiliate of RFR Holding LLC. Her responsibilities involve converting six of RFR's rental apartment buildings to condominium and include preparation of the offering plans, strategic planning, pricing, sales support, renovations and closing. Anne was formerly a commercial mortgage broker for Haves, Pine & Seligman where she arranged financing for a wide variety of properties including underlying co-op and multi-family rental apartment buildings, office buildings, private residences and construction loans in the tri-state area. She worked at Brown, Harris, Stevens from 1983 to 1990 as an appraiser and also supervised ten co-op and condo conversions at that firm. Anne has also brokered the sale of commercial property and development sites in New York City. Anne holds an M. B. A. from Rutgers University and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, Inc. She has been an AREW Board member since 1998. Virginia M. Pittarelli joined Madison HGCD as the Executive Managing Director in 2001 with approximately 20 years experience in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Madison HGCD, she served as Senior Vice President of Trammell Crow Company and Director of its Retail Group in New York City. In addition to providing strategic retail real estate consulting services in New York, Ms. Pittarelli spearheaded multi-market strategic planning for several high-profile national and international companies. Before her time with Trammell Crow, Ms. Pittarelli was an executive with Jones Lang Wootton, where she founded and directed its National Retail Services Group. Over the course of her career, she has closed well over 500 transactions, for the likes of Club Monaco, Guess?, The Body Shop, Citibank, and Borders Books. In addition, she has successfully completed leasing assignments at prominent locations all over Manhattan. Ms. Pittarelli began her career at Citibank, N.A. where she last served as Vice President/Real Estate Director. She is a graduate of Brooklyn College and is a licensed New York Real Estate Broker. She is a member of the Stores Committee Real Estate Board of New York, Inc., The Association of Real Estate Women (AREW), and The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
