Ray Huizenga joined Newmarket International in March of 2006 as Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Huizenga brings 18 years of diversified HR experience and leadership to Newmarket International. Prior to joining Newmarket International, Mr. Huizenga was Vice President of Human Resources for VUTEk, Inc., the world leader in the design, development and manufacturing of grand format digital ink jet printers. In this role, he helped VUTEk establish its international presence for sales and service of their products. Before joining VUTEk, Mr. Huizenga was Vice President of Human Resources for National Grange Mutual Insurance Company, a $450 million property and casualty company. At NGM, he helped reengineer the company to be more customer-centric, thus positioning it for significant growth. Mr. Huizenga spent the first 25 years of his career with Public Service Electric and Gas Company, a $6 billion combined electric and gas utility in New Jersey, where he started as an engineer and field manager. He joined the company's human resources department in 1988, where he started its gas unit technical training center, headed its corporate training and development group, and served as human resources business partner to the Customer Service business organization during utility deregulation. Mr. Huizenga has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
