From July 1995 through January 1998, Mr. Sloane was the President of the Sloane Organization, LLC, an investment banking, consulting and advisory firm based in New York City. From September 1993 through July 1995, Mr. Sloane was a Managing Director of Smith Barney, Inc. While there, he directed the Commercial and Residential Real Estate Securitization Unit and, prior to that, was National Sales Manager for Institutional Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities sales. From April 1991 through September 1993, he was founder and President of Aegis Capital Markets, a consumer loan origination and securitization business which was eventually taken public with the name "Aegis Consumer Funding." From October 1988 through March 1991, Mr. Sloane was Senior Vice President of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, where he was responsible for directing sales of Mortgage-backed Securities. From August 1982 to September 1988, Mr. Sloane was a senior mortgage security sales person and trader for Bear Stearns, L.F. Rothschild, E.F. Hutton and Paine Webber.
Mr. Schroeder has extensive experience as a senior human resources executive.Mr. Schroeder served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Fiserv, Inc and served as Senior Vice President – Global Human Resources and Leadership Development for Maritz, Inc. Prior to that, he served as a senior human resources executive at GE .

At Cambridge Who's Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs, Brian is responsible for developing a finance and accounting department, overseeing independent audits, and introducing systems and models for forecasting, budgeting and managing corporate growth. Brian Wasserman has 20 years of experience in the investment and business development sectors. A Certified Public Accountant, Brian began his career in 1987 at Coopers & Lybrand, which is now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Within four years, Brian was promoted to manager and oversaw clients' audits, private equity investing, and tax filings. From 1992 to 1997, Brian held the position of General Partner of Private Investment Partnerships, managing more than $200 million in capital. In addition, he founded a mergers and acquisitions principal and advisory firm, First Lawrence Capital Corp. Brian also served as CFO and Treasurer of Engex (AMEX "EGX"), a non-diversified, closed-end investment corporation that sought capital appreciation through diverse equity investments. Concurrent with these activities, Brian has also been CFO for several entities owned and operated by a high net-worth family. In January 1998, as a result of his success in evaluating businesses and managing private and public investments, Brian founded Newtek Business Services (NASDAQ "NEWT"), assuming the role of CFO and Treasurer until July 2005. NEWT is a premier provider of business services and financial products to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the US, helping business owners realize their potential by providing them with essential tools to manage and grow their business.
Mr. Brunet currently serves as an Executive Vice President and the Chief Information Officer of Newtek Business Services, Inc. In addition, Mr. Brunet is responsible for strategic planning and marketing on a company-wide basis. Prior to joining Newtek, Mr. Brunet was Chairman and CEO of Harvest Strategies, a strategic consulting firm, and was responsible for developing and implementing corporate strategic plans for its clients on a global basis. Mr. Brunet began his career at South Central Bell Telephone Company and was promoted to AT&T Corporate where he held varying responsibilities in marketing, product development, finance, special bids, National Account Management, and Client Education and Training. He also held the position of Director of Strategic Planning. In 1989, Mr. Brunet became Executive Vice President of Entergy Corporation and was accountable for managing and directing the overall Entergy System retail and wholesale marketing effort, including strategy development, policy preparation and administration, market development, and market analysis and research. During his tenure with Entergy, he served as Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). He also served on the Board of Directors of Entergy Enterprises guiding decisions on unregulated activities, including strategic acquisition of and investments in generation and distribution, and new technology assets domestically and internationally.

Mr. Payan has served as Chief Executive Officer of Emerging Vision, Inc. ( EVI ), a publicly traded company, since June 2004. Prior to June 2004, and since July 2001, Mr. Payan served in various other executive offices for EVI, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. From March 1995 through July 2001, Mr. Payan was employed by Arthur Andersen LLP, at the time, one of the world s largest professional services firms, where he provided various audit, accounting, operational consulting and advisory services to various small and mid-sized private and public companies in various industries. Mr. Payan also serves on the board of directors of Hauppauge Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAUP). Mr. Payan is a certified public accountant and joined our board in 2003. Mr. Payan serves as the Chairman of the Company s Audit Committee.
Formerly the Chairman and CEO of USB, Inc., a thrift holding company specializing in the sale and processing of credit card transactions for merchants. During the past 30 years, Mr. Schottenstein has been a Director of Schottenstein Investment, a diversified investment holding company with $650 million in assets, Vice President of Schottenstein Stores' Value City Stores Division (NYSE symbol VCD) and CEO of Schottenstein Realty Company, which specializes in the investment and restructuring of companies. Mr. Schottenstein has been involved in the capitalization and restructuring of numerous retail enterprises, including Weiboldts' Department Stores, Chicago, Illinois; Strauss Auto Parts, New York, New York; Valley Fair Discount Stores, New Jersey; Steinbach Stores and others. Along with his investors, Jeff Schottenstein has successfully acquired Bell Supply Company (retail oil and gas equipment supply company based in Kilgore, Texas) and Omni Exploration Company, the first successful Chapter 11 reorganization of an oil and gas service company in the United States.
Mr. Schwartz is a Partner at Wolf Popper LLP. He is a 1988 graduate of Brooklyn College (City University of New York) where he received a B.S. cum laude in Business Management and Finance. After graduating Brooklyn Law School in 1992, where he earned a Dean's Merit Scholarship, he has specialized in securities and antitrust class action litigation and shareholder derivative/corporate governance litigation. In 1993, he was admitted to the bars of the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and in 1999, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Schwartz joined Wolf Popper LLP in 1998 and became a partner in 2003. He began his law career at Pomerantz Haudek Block & Grossman as an Associate specializing in securities and antitrust class action litigation and shareholder derivative litigation.

Sal Mulia began his career in Finance in 1980 with General Electric's Financial Services Division, GE Capital. In various assignments he was responsible for developing new businesses as well as creating innovative loan and lease products. In the capacity of lead banker, Mr. Mulia led the acquisition and syndication of $4.0 billion of loan/lease receivables, and was instrumental in developing the business plan for GE Capital's entry into SBA lending. Since 1993 Sal has been a principal in RTM Financial Services Inc. ("RTM"), an investment and advisory firm dedicated to helping small businesses. In an advisory role, he created Pitney Bowes SBA Lending Unit, and was responsible for loan portfolio acquisitions.
