Founded in 1994, Nextec Applications, Inc. has pioneered a new process for creating performance fabrics. By using precise polymer placement and special chemistries, we place protection inside the fabric, encapsulating the actual woven fibers. Our encapsulation processes, methods and equipment are protected by more than 52 patents issued or pending in the U.S. and internationally. Our design and management teams now lead the production of high performance fabrics for a broad range of markets including outdoor gear, performance apparel, industrial applications and protective products. Nextec's extensive R&D capabilities cover fabric characterization, polymer research and development and a full range of ASTM and AATCC fabric testing.
