It manufactures small precision motors and mid-sized motors. Its products include spindle motors for hard disk drives found in personal computers, car navigation systems and audiovisual products. Direct current motors for optical disk drives are used in personal computers, DVDs and CD players, copiers and printers. The company also offers fan motors, automotive motors, machinery, electronic and optical components. The company produced revenue of $4.8 billion in 2006 and employs over 59,000 people. In October 2005 the company established a representative office in Shenzhen City, Canton, China.
