Dr. Don Newsome, Rear Admiral, US Navy (Ret.) became Sarnoff Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer in May of 2007. He is an accomplished leader with over twenty years of experience in program management and business administration and possesses deep knowledge of the commercial and government markets. Dr. Newsome joined Sarnoff after four years as Vice President and General Manager of EDO Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems, where he was responsible for all profit and loss activities within the company. Under his direction, EDO grew substantially in profit, sales, and bookings. Prior to EDO, Newsome served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Navy, managing a budget of several hundred million dollars and overseeing international programs for the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Throughout his distinguished military career, Newsome has received numerous decorations for service, including the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit (five awards), Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. Dr. Newsome received a Doctorate of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Morehead State University. He is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and the Association of Naval Aviation (ANA).

Thomas J. Furst serves as Senior Vice President and CFO of SRI International. He brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, contracts and information systems for business and government operations. In his role at SRI, he oversees all finance and administrative activities, including financial planning, cash management, pricing, security, regulatory compliance, and information systems management. Furst joined SRI from the global management consulting firm of Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he served as the Chief Financial Executive of Worldwide Technology Business since 1991. Before joining Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Furst was with PRC Inc., where he served as Vice President of Financial Operations. He has also held management positions in finance with HRB-Singer and RCA. Furst holds an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary and a B.S. in economics from Villanova University.

Carolann Churins joined Sarnoff in 2005 as Senior Director, Human Resources and has since been promoted to Vice President of Administration. In this position, Ms. Churins provides a positive, productive work environment through maintenance, planning, general building services and security. She is also responsible for the development, implementation and management of Human Resources policies and programs encompassing: employee relations, recruiting, employment, compensation and benefits, education and training, safety and health, and compliance issues. Prior to joining Sarnoff, Ms. Churins held several top Human Resources positions in the technology and engineering sectors. She was actively involved in marketing, communications and public relations in both domestic and international divisions. Ms. Churins' experience includes human resources in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, employee selection and placement, training and development, rewards, policy administration, employee counseling and communications. Ms. Churins holds a B.A. degree from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey), an M.A. degree from the University of West Florida and four certificates of advanced study in Human Resources Management. She has earned certification by the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Dr. Ashok Prabhu joined Sarnoff's technical staff in 1979. He has since held both technical and managerial leadership positions, including Technical Director, Macroelectronics Packaging and Processing Laboratory; Managing Director, Integrated Electronic and Display Products; Senior Technical Director, Optoelectronics and Materials; and Managing Director, Sarnoff Innovative Technologies PVT Ltd, Bangalore, India. As Sarnoff's Vice President, Device Technologies and Applications, Dr. Prabhu oversees strategic direction and growth of the Imaging, Emulation and ESD Designs business units. Additionally, he also heads up Sarnoff's International Business Development operations. Dr. Prabhu's technical work produced a number of new materials and processes that are being used today by electronics companies around the world. Among these are solid oxide fuel cell materials and processes, ceramic back panel technology for plasma displays, ceramic-on-metal substrates for multichip modules, and lead-free interconnections for electronic assembly. He was also instrumental in establishing Sarnoff's Bangalore research arm, and in fostering companies to commercialize technology developed under his leadership. Ashok Prabhu received a B.Tech. from the India Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. from Purdue University. He has authored more than 20 technical publications and is inventor or co-inventor on 30 US patents.

Dr. John Riganati joined Sarnoff in 1993 as Director, Communications Laboratory. In subsequent positions, Riganati served as Technical Director and CTO for the Communications and Networking Business Unit, Senior Technical Director and CTO for Technology Operations, Vice President and CTO for the Office of Technology Strategy, Innovation and Acquisition, and Vice President, Video, Communications, Networking and Sensing Systems Division. Previously he was the Director of Systems and Architecture Research at the Supercomputing Research Center [a Division IDA], Chief of the Computer and Communication Systems Components Division at NBS [now NIST], and Chief Scientist of the Communication Switching Systems Division at Rockwell. He has held positions at IBM's Research and Systems Divisions, at GE's Systems Engineering Division, and was an Instructor at RPI. He was responsible for the Data Encryption Standard and for the creation of a Public Key Infrastructure [while at NBS] and for automation of the FBI's Identification Division [while at Rockwell].

Dr. Peter Burt joined Sarnoff Corporation (formerly the David Sarnoff Research Center) in 1983 as a member of the technical staff. He has held a number of positions during his tenure, including technical manager, technical director, and director of research and development across Sarnoff's technical areas. In 2006, he was promoted to Vice President of Vision Technologies. In this capacity, Dr. Burt is responsible for Sarnoff's contract R&D and product business in computer vision. Dr. Burt is a recognized leader in the field of computer vision. His pioneering contributions to the discipline of multi-resolution pyramid and wavelet image processing have helped Sarnoff become one of the foremost such industrial groups in the world today. His work has been instrumental in providing core vision functions that enable compact, high-performance systems for use in a broad range of commercial and defense applications, such as vehicle navigation or surveillance in rapidly changing environments. Dr. Burt is the author of over 60 technical papers and has been the featured speaker at numerous technical conferences. He is the recipient of the David Sarnoff Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement, as well as the Sarnoff President's Award for exceptional leadership in the research, development and application of real-time computer vision technologies. Prior to joining Sarnoff, Dr. Burt was a member to the electrical engineering faculty at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Vincent Endres heads the portfolio management activities at Sarnoff. He was promoted to his present position in 2002. His responsibilities include the acquisition, merging, licensing and sale of intellectual property. He is also responsible for the development of new and emerging products, new and existing businesses, and technology ventures. Mr. Endres joined Sarnoff in 1989 as a business division manager. He led the business development effort that founded Sarnoff's life sciences group, assuming progressively more responsible roles until being promoted to a venture partner position in 1999. He was business lead and co-founder of four venture capital or corporate-backed healthcare companies, and interim manager of five pharmaceutical/biotech collaborations with leading pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining Sarnoff Mr. Endres worked as production supervisor at Rose Art Industries, in Marketing and Proposal Development at Frequency Engineering Labs, and at Singer Kearfott. Mr. Endres earned an MBA in marketing and accounting from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1987. He also holds a BS degree from Montclair State University. Vincent Endres is a member of the board of Locus Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. John K. Wainwright is employed as an Integrated Circuit Equipment Specialist with the Sarnoff Corporation (formerly RCA Laboratories) in Princeton, NJ. He and Marilyn were married in 1974 and have four adult children, one of whom is married. Jack became a member of the Board of Trustees in June of 1996. The mission of Hebrew Christian Fellowship is to lovingly and sensitively present the Gospel of Messiah Jesus to Jewish people.

Kurt joined the agency in 1989 as a Commercial Sales Specialist. He became a Vice President and Partner in 1994, and was Sales Manager and Senior Vice President from 1998-2002. In 2002, Kurt was named Executive Vice President and in 2005, promoted to President & COO. Last year (2007), he took over as CEO and is now responsible for the overall operations and business affairs of the company. Kurt began his career as an underwriter and has since developed a wide range of expertise, including manufacturing, processing, distribution, foreign and professional liability, settling business income claims, pollution, banker's bonds, errors and omissions, director's and officer's liability, crime, and employment practices. As a Partner in Propel, Kurt is especially proud of the relationships the agency has developed with leading carriers.
Alan Herzig currently serves as a corporate consultant and independent director. He is a seasoned business executive with more than 37 years in the computer services, investment banking and venture capital industries. Until 2004, Herzig was president and CEO of SRI Holdings, Inc., and its subsidiary Sarnoff Corporation, commercializing various technologies and supervising the management of portfolio assets. Prior to joining SRI in 1994, he was president and CEO of Robert Fleming Pacific, Inc., the U.S. investment-banking arm of Robert Fleming & Co., a leading U.K.-based merchant bank. Previously, Herzig was a managing director of L.F. Rothschild Unterberg Towbin where he managed their West Coast corporate finance department. Herzig currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sarnoff Corporation and Nuance Communications.
