Kelly D. Luttmer has served as our vice president and tax director since 2006. She has served as vice president of CompX, Contran, Kronos Worldwide, NL and Valhi since 2004, tax director of Kronos Worldwide and NL since 2003 and tax director of CompX, Contran and Valhi since 1998. Ms. Luttmer has served in tax accounting positions with various companies related to us and Contran since 1989.

Tim C. Hafer has served as vice president and controller of us and Kronos Worldwide since 2006. He served as director – finance and control of us and Kronos Worldwide from prior to 2004 to 2006. Mr. Hafer has served in financial accounting positions with various companies related to Valhi and Contran since 1999.

Don W. Gentry, Director. Dr. Gentry holds a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering. He has worked for several major companies as a mining engineer, including Anaconda Copper Company, Kennecott Copper Corporation, and NL Industries, and has served on the Board of Directors of several companies, including Santa Fe Pacific Gold Corporation, Newmont Mining Corporation, and Polymet Mining Corporation, where he also served as President & CEO. Dr. Gentry is an Emeritus Professor at the Colorado School of Mines where he served on the faculty in Mining Engineering for 26 years. Dr. Gentry also currently serves on the Board of Gryphon Gold Corporation. Dr. Gentry has served on numerous advisory boards and councils to various branches of the U.S. federal government, including the Executive Office of the President, on considering and formulating government policies as they relate to mineral resources and their development in the United States. Dr. Gentry is a past-President of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) and a member of the National Academy of Engineering.

Cecil H. Moore, Jr. , age 69, has served on our board of directors since 2003. Mr. Moore is currently a private investor and retired from KPMG LLP in 2000 after 37 years in which he served in various capacities with the public accounting firm. Among other positions, he served as managing partner of the firm's Dallas, Texas office from 1990 to 1999. Prior to 1990, Mr. Moore was partner-in-charge of the audit and accounting practice of the firm's Dallas, Texas office for 12 years. Mr. Moore is also a director and chairman of the audit committee of Perot Systems Corporation, a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions. He is a member of our audit committee and on the board of directors and chairman of the audit committee of Kronos Worldwide.

Steven L. Watson , age 58, has served as our chief executive officer since 2006, our vice chairman of the board since 2005 and on our board of directors since 2000. He served as our president during 2006. Mr. Watson has been Valhi's chief executive officer since 2002 and president and a director of Valhi and Contran since prior to 2004. He has also served as chief executive officer of Kronos Worldwide since February 2009 and its vice chairman of the board since 2004. Mr. Watson is also a director of CompX, Keystone and NL. He has served as an executive officer or director of various companies related to us and Contran since 1980.
