As Nominum's President and Chief Operating Officer, Tom Tovar brings a proven track record of executing strategic partnerships, alliances, mergers and acquisitions at leading network and security companies and major Silicon Valley law firms. Tom comes to this role after serving as Nominum's Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development. In this position, he was responsible for overseeing the company's sales revenues and defining and executing worldwide partnership and alliance initiatives. Before joining Nominum, Tom was vice president in charge of corporate development at NetScreen Technologies, where he led NetScreen's alliances, strategic partnering and M&A activities. He has also served as NetScreen's vice president of legal affairs. Before NetScreen, as a lawyer at Cooley Godward LLP, Tom led private financings, IPOs, strategic alliance and licensing transactions as well as merger and acquisition efforts for numerous successful technology companies. He holds B.B.A. in finance from the University of Houston and a J.D. from Stanford University.

Vivian Neou is Nominum's Vice President of Product Engineering and Operations. In this role, Vivian manages Nominum's day-to-day product development, technical operations, and Nominum's professional services and information systems organizations. Prior to joining Nominum, Vivian managed special projects for the Foothill-De Anza Community College District, setting up the Advanced Technology Center at DeAnza College and the web site for the Community Colleges for Innovative Technology Transfer. During 12 years at SRI International, Vivian served as the Manager of Information Services for the Network Information Center Project, the predecessor of the current InterNIC. As Manager of Information Services, Vivian supervised all aspects of the NIC Project, including user and domain registration. Vivian is the author of several reference books, including ActiveX Controls To Go, HTML 4.0 CD with JavaScript, Internet CD, and Internet Mailing List Navigator for Windows. She also coauthored HTML CD for Windows, HTML CD with JavaScript for Macintosh, and HTML 3.2 CD with JavaScript for Windows 95.

Paul Vixie has been contributing to Internet protocols and UNIX systems as a protocol designer and software architect since 1980. Early in his career, he developed and introduced sends, proxynet, rtty, cron and other lesser-known tools. Today, Paul is considered the primary modern author and technical architect of BINDv8 the Berkeley Internet Name Domain Version 8, the open source reference implementation of the Domain Name System (DNS). He formed the Internet Software Consortium (ISC) in 1994, and now acts as Chairman of its Board of Directors. The ISC reflects Paul's commitment to developing and maintaining production quality open source reference implementations of core Internet protocols. More recently, Paul cofounded MAPS LLC (Mail Abuse Prevention System), a California nonprofit company established in 1998 with the goal of hosting the RBL (Realtime Blackhole List) and stopping the Internet's email system from being abused by spammers. Vixie is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Metromedia Fiber Network Inc (MFNX.O). Along with Frederick Avolio, Paul co-wrote "Sendmail: Theory and Practice" (Digital Press, 1995). He has authored or co-authored several RFCs, including a Best Current Practice document on "Classless IN-ADDR.ARPA Delegation" (BCP 20). He is also responsible for overseeing the operation of F.root-servers.net, one of the thirteen Internet root domain name servers.

Ken is a Partner at Morgenthaler Ventures. Ken joined Morgenthaler in 2001 and currently serves on the boards of imeem, Voltage Security, Digital Railroad, Nominum and Danal Corp. He was either a Series-A lead or co-lead investor in all of the above companies. Ken has 18 years of experience in Silicon Valley's high-technology industry as CEO, business strategist, marketing/engineering director and venture capitalist. Ken was founding CEO of FiberStreet, Inc., a gigabit network service provider. He previously served as Director of Business Development for Nortel Networks. Ken held a number of market development and engineering roles at Hitachi-Raychem Display Systems and Sun Microsystems. Ken has a BS in electrical engineering from San Jose State University, San Jose, California, and MBA from Stanford University, and is based in Menlo Park.

As a Managing Director of Globespan, Venky sources new investment opportunities, evaluates and negotiates investments, and serves on the boards of portfolio companies. Based in Palo Alto, he focuses on investments in Software and Internet/Infrastructure start-ups. Venky, a successful entrepreneur himself, shares his intense focus on results, strategic market view, and technical expertise to help the firm's portfolio companies achieve market leadership. Venky serves on the boards of Agitar, Amobee, Exeros, Jajah, Market Live, Nominum, oDesk, Palo Alto Networks, Plaxo, and Strongmail. Venky previously served on the board of Sendia (acquired by Salesforce.com). Prior to Globespan, Venky served as Vice President of JAFCO Ventures. While at JAFCO, Venky co-founded Trigo Technologies, Inc. where he later served as Chief Operating Officer. He envisioned the idea behind Trigo's middleware as an Associate in the Boston office of JAFCO Ventures. He and the founding team then incubated the software company in JAFCO's Palo Alto office. Venky helped to build Trigo into the market leader in the product information management arena. The company was acquired by IBM resulting in a substantial return for all investors. Venky also previously worked at McKinsey & Co., in the firm's Los Angeles and Johannesberg offices.
