Brandtzæg started his career as Project Manager in the ÅSV Group before joining Hydro at Karmøy in 1986. In subsequent years he held various positions within Hydro's aluminium business, including Cathode Workshop Manager, Human Resources Training and Education Manager, Technical Manager and Casthouse and Marketing Manager. In 1998-1999 he was Vice President Casthouses before serving as head of Magnesium in 2000-2001. During the period 2002-2003 he was head of Metal Products and in 2003-2006 head of Rolled Products.
From 2006 to March 2009, Brandtzæg was responsible for the Aluminium Products business area with more than 16,000 employees in the sectors Rolled Products, Extrusion Eurasia, Extrusion Americas, Precision Tubing and the business unit Automotive Structures.
Born in Haugesund, Norway in 1957, Brandtzæg graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He holds an economics degree from the Norwegian School of Management and a PhD from NTNU.
Rostrup became head of Hydro's Energy business area in October 2007. At the same time he joined Hydro’s corporate management board with overall responsibility for the company's energy agenda, including power production facilities.
Prior to that he was head of Oil & Energy Markets, in charge of oil, gas and power sales.
Since joining Hydro in 1991, he has held a number of management positions in energy, finance and international business development in Norway, the United States and Singapore.
Jørgen C. Arentz Rostrup, born 1966, holds a Master’s degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen.

Harris is responsible for human resources and organizational development as well as health, security, safety and environment.
Since Harris joined Hydro in 2001, she has held several positions within finance. In 2004 she was appointed head of Corporate Financial Reporting and Performance.
From 1997 to 2000 she was Administration & Personnel Manager in the oil company Total Norge. Before that, she held various positions within finance, controlling and accounting in the same company.

Moss came to Hydro in 1991 and has held several senior management positions within the company's aluminium business area, among them as President of Automotive Structures in 1996-2001 and President of the Metal Products sector in 2004-2006.
Over the years he has also been responsible for strategy and business development in the aluminium area as well as on corporate level. He was project leader for the process that ended up in the oil and gas merger agreement with Statoil in December 2006.
In 1989-1990 Moss was State Secretary and Chief of Staff at the Norwegian Prime Minister's office.

Prior to Hydro's reorganization of business areas in March 2009, Hilde Merete Aasheim served as Executive Vice President for the Aluminium Metal business area since November 2008.
Aasheim joined Hydro in October 2005 as Executive Vice President for Leadership and Culture (human resources, health, environment, safety and corporate social responsibility).
When Hydro's oil and gas activities were merged with Statoil in October 2007, she became executive vice president of staff functions and corporate services in StatoilHydro.
From 1986 to 2005 she held several senior positions in Elkem. In 2002 she was head of Elkem's Silicon division and member of the corporate management board.

As head of Extruded Products, Undeli is responsible for aluminium extrusion activities with more than 11,000 employees in the sectors Automotive, Building Systems, Extrusion Americas and Extrusion Eurasia.
Undeli began his career in 1977 with the French petroleum company Total, where he worked for six years in the United Kingdom, before joining Hydro's Oil & Energy Division.
In 1989, he moved to Hydro's aluminium operations, where he has been active for more than 20 years in various operational and managerial positions both in Norway and in Switzerland, primarily in the area of extruded aluminium products. Among these roles, he has served as chairman for several of Hydro's extrusion plants and units in Europe, and has led the company's extrusion activities in Europe and Asia since September 2006.
Born in 1953 in Gjøvik, Norway, Undeli graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology with a Master of Science degree in petroleum technology.

Grete Faremo (1955), Oslo, has been deputy chairperson of the the Board since November 2007. She is an independent business woman and has a Master's degree in law from the University of Oslo. Faremo was Director for Legal and Corporate Affairs in Microsoft until 2008 and executive Vice President of Storebrand Insurance Company from 1997 to 2003. Faremo has held a range of political positions for the Norwegian Labour Party. She was an elected member of Stortinget, the Norwegian Parliament, from 1993 to 1997. Terje Vareberg (1948), Stavanger, has been managing director of Sparebank 1 SR-Bank since 1999. He is a graduate of the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He worked for the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Petroleum before joining the refining and marketing division of Statoil, where he remained from 1979 to 1983. He was managing director of Agro Fellesslakteri from 1983 to 1989, before returning to Statoil, where he was executive vice president and a member of corporate management from 1989 to 1999. Bente Rathe (1954), Trondheim, is an independent businesswoman. She is Master of Science in business from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver. Rathe started her career with E.A.Smith A/S of Trondheim, where she advanced to become deputy chief executive officer and director of finance. During the period from 1989 to 2002 she was part of of the corporate management of Forenede Forsikring – the Gjensidige group and Gjensidige NOR, most recently as deputy CEO. Billy Fredagsvik (1956), Høyanger, is a full-time union official at Hydro Høyanger, representing the members of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO).
